it's next to a publix, kind of a small hole in the wall-ish place. there is seating inside, not a lot but some. they do a lot of takeout i think. no alcohol, just basic drinks and teas i think. menu is extensive though! we got the dumplings and egg drop soup. pretty good. vegetable lo mein was also good and a but different. the general tso and sesame chicken were good but about the same. the sesame is a tad bit sweeter, but both came out fresh and hit but almost the same. they have some small dessert items and tons of other things! service is okay. she's one person in the front and takes care of almost everything so it can get busy. free parking lot area and prices aren't bad. ~$60 for 2 apps, 3 entrees. food does take a little bit of time but i really good. will get take out next time. read more

Extremely well priced, fresh made dumplings and other northern Chinese staples. In a mall near Publix, but they've made a nice effort on decor with nice seating and a pleasant vibe. Go for the dumplings, pan fried bao, and Xao Long Bao (soup dumplings). All are amazing. read more

Had raw soup dumplings, the orange chicken had a weird flavor the pork bun was the only decent tasting item but I question was it fully cooked since the soup dumpling was fully raw. Raw pork has potential to cause serious harm if consumed. read more

I have eaten here a couple of times. Once inside of the restaurant and takeout the second time. Both experiences were good. The hostess was polite and the restaurant was clean. The food was also really good. I really enjoy Szechuan style Chinese so I am always looking for a good restaurant that serves this cuisine. There is a local Szechuan restaurant that I typically order from near my home in Johns Creek, but, I like to mix it up snd try different places. I still like the spot in Johns Creek a little more than this place because I think the Chongqing chicken tastes better and the menu selection is more extensive. Nonetheless, this restaurant is a solid 4 stars. Definitely a worthy dining spot. read more

Newly opened, Wok Provisions is a tasty, small menu restaurant serving Chinese fare. Early tl;dr could be cheaper, I'd recommend chilled cucumbers, stuffed pumpkin pancake, and beef noodle soup. Onto the food. They have a curated menu with a combination of snacks (e.g. XLB, pan fried buns) and American-recognizable entrees like kung bao. What we ordered below: - soup dumplings (Xiaolongbao) are a tad pricey, but homemade and plenty fatty. These are tasty but less intense in flavor than other soup dumplings, which works against them because they don't stand up as strong against the vinegar ginger sauce - pan fried buns (Shengjianbao) are not as juicy, but have a firm, weighty filling. The lattice or skirt is one of the most beautiful and crispy I have ever seen - chilled cucumbers are chilled cucumbers, so they're pretty tasty, spicy, and refreshing. The portion size is good, so I didn't feel bad about ordering something as basic as spicy vinegar cucumbers - Beijing shredded pork in crepe is an options that's probably less known. It's a nice nostalgia trip for any northern Chinese person and a fun build your dish experience, but it probably won't blow your mind if you're not looking for it specifically - mouth watering chicken is a tad pricey and definitely a dish for a more niche audience. I like mouth watering chicken a lot, and this was an alright rendition. - beef noodle soup is pretty decent with very quality noodles. The meat was generous, but the soup and meat flavor did not stand out too much. Still very satisfyingly savory and subtly sweet, but not too much pop. The decor is a little mish mashed with industrial, modern, and mid century inspirations. The ordering system includes web enabled menus and a to-go touch panel, but they also offer typical sit down service. Wow, what a pleasant little surprise!!! When I first saw this place in a Publix shopping center I just assumed this would be another typical to go joint with no authenticity included in their food. However I'm so glad I stopped to look at their menu and it is surprisingly mostly authentic dishes from China! I love love love their dry red pepper chicken, hot oil beef, and their soup dumplings are so delicious i thought it was better than Ding Tai Feng's! Hot and sour soup was on point w the spiciness and sourness! It appear to be family owned and the lady works there was so nice and kind as well! This place is alright. Soup dumplings had no soup and sticks to the paper. It will tear even how lightly you try to peel it off so good thing it didn't have any soup or it would be wasted. The chili chicken wrap is pretty flavorless. The pancakes were crispy and good but very plain without any type of dipping sauce. The winner is the Szechuan dumpling in Oil. Most flavorful with hints of lemongrass and a tiny kick of heat for those non spicy eaters. It was delicious. The fried rice came with is mediocre and not worth mentioning. If I were to come back it would probably only be for the Szechuan dumplings. read more

I was attending a conference nearby and brought a party of 6 after viewing photos that looked like this place served authentic Sichuan style dishes. After walking into the restaurant, I confirmed with the owner(?) that they make their own noodles in-house, so we had to try their noodle dishes and we were so glad we did. Here's what we ordered: 1. Sichuan Style Beef Noodle Soup - The portion was extremely generous and the flavors were great. I've tried a wide variety of beef noodle soups and I was surprised that there was a restaurant in the suburbs of Atlanta that served such good quality soup. We loved this dish! The owner was also very accommodating to members in our party who had lower spice tolerance. One bowl was served with spice on the side. But on a scale of 1-10 (10 being very spicy), I'd say that this dish had a spice level of 5. The spice didn't bother me at all. 2. Chongqing Spicy Noodle Soup - One member in our party ordered this dish. Thinner noodles were served with this dish and the spice level was significantly higher than the bowl mentioned above. Spice level was at around 9. The dish was tasty (I tried it too), but the member who ordered the dish thought it was a bit too spicy for his liking, so the owner brought out some mild soup so that the spice level could be diluted. The service was great! 3. Sichuan Chili Wontons (10) - I'd recommend this dish as an appetizer. These were small wontons packed with flavor. It was a great way to start our meal. 4. Salt & Pepper Calamari - Well prepared fried calamari with salt, chili, garlic and other strong flavors. 5. Beef Shank & Tripe - If you like authentic Chinese dishes with different cuts of beef, you'll enjoy this dish. It goes really well with some rice. 6. Bok Choy (w/ garlic) - I normally order either Chinese broccoli or bok choy when I order Chinese food. They prepared this dish perfectly and it complemented everything else on the table. We all walked in a bit skeptical thinking "How good could Chinese food be in the suburbs of Atlanta?" but we all left fully satisfied and appreciative of the warm service. New place? Then it's a yes for me! I have been searching for a place around town that serves beef noodle soup and finally found it, and it happened to be a new place so I had to jump in. My first impression when I walked in was that it was a small cozy place with a clean design, lots of natural light, and visually welcoming. We were quickly greeted and ushered to our table by whom I believe it was the manager or owner. He was very kind from beginning to end. Now the best part: The food! We ordered the beef noodle soup, cucumber salad, and Mongolian beef. I wanted to go all in and get a few more things but the wifey quickly put up the e-brake on me lol. So we only got three items for this trip. The beef noodle soup first. The broth felt a little light at the beginning but soon I realized I had to give it a quick mix from the bottom since that did the trick to make the broth taste fuller (I guess a lot of the flavorful elements had settled on the bottom of the bowl). The noodles were perfectly cooked and the spice was not overpowering at all. The beef pieces in the soup fooled me in a good way! I though they were going to be a little bit tuff / dry but to the contrary, they were like butter! Soooo tender and flavorful that I had to brag about it to my wife :D The cucumber salad was very crunchy and fresh, and we really enjoyed it as a side dish with our main dishes. The Mongolian beef was also very tender and full of flavor! It had a ton of onions and my wife usually doesn't eat onions but they were so flavorful that she was actually eating them. Overall, I'm glad that we decided to come try this place out. We will be back again to try their other dishes for sure. read more

We live about 3 miles away and so grateful to have this nice place nearby. It is newly remodeled to accommodate a dozen seated tables, and very clean. The food is amazing! You can get typical Chinese takeout for kids like orange chicken and fried rice (perfectly cooked, not mushy) or you can expand your taste horizons and go for hot oil beef which is schezuan spicy (I asked for mild and it was spicy but not unbearable) it came with delectable homemade noodles with bok choy and cilantro in one bowl, the other bowl contains flavorful thin sliced beef, red chili peppers (dry I think) a bit more cabbage and a flavorful spicy brown sauce and generous chunks of tofu which my husband just LOVED and appreciated the texture. We got crab Rangoon but next time I'm going to try soft dumplings. I also got chicken with mixed veg, shrimp with mixed veg, so that was 3 different meat protein entrees plus fried rice and Rangoon, and vegetable soup (divine, just divine!) it was only $80. There was enough food to feed 5 adults and still had half left over for another meal! read more
