Nice food court Chinese food inside the city farmers market Duluth location. They offer a wide variety of Cantonese style Chinese food and you can even buy seafood from the grocery store and have them cook it for you. I also got catering from here once and it did not disappoint. For $50-$80 a tray (half size), they do give you a lot of food.

The service here is very good. It's in a food court but it has its own vibe. Nothing pretentious, just quality cuisine. I had the seafood and vegetables over rice. Decent price considering the portion was enough for 2 meals. Very tasty. It sort of reminded me of shrimp with lobster sauce except there was more seafood, like fish and squid in there and the sauce was lighter but still very distinct and flavorful. I was impressed. Definitely a good option in the area, I can see why they are so highly rated.

Amazing food. Great service. Huge portions! It's tucked away in a farmers market among other food shops in a food court. And honestly it tastes better than most restaurants. I'm going to get fat coming here. And the lady that took my order must be owner because she was so nice and enthusiastic! I had to leave a review (I never do) because I was shocked to see how few there were. I got the salt and pepper squid and mongolian beef. Both were amazing!

This restaurant is located inside of the City Farmers Market food court in Duluth I was craving Mongolian beef but the front register staff said they can't alter the rice plate and only what's on the menu is what they can offer with rice. I settled on the House Special rice plate ($13.95) which comes with beef, chicken, and shrimp. Surprisingly there was a lot of beef, shrimp, and only couple of pieces of chicken. The sauce was savory and the meats were tender and tasted fresh. The shrimp had no aqua fishy smell as well. My only con is I didn't find the price point ($14ish total) to be something I'd frequently want to pay for a take out type place like this vs somewhere else. All in all though, food is worth a try! I'd be back selectively if this was a last resort suggestion or if they had a lunch type special

First things first - YES, you should order here!! The food is so delicious, fresh, and as close to Vietnamese/Chinese food as I've had in Gwinnett Co. Follow the signs outside, the food court is located on the left side and there's parking right at the door on the side of the building if you want to get in and out fast. I'd also recommend ordering ahead via phone call so long as you know what you want. If you don't know what you want, they have plenty of pictures of their food on the wall! Also, Vietnamese friendly. Can definitely take your non English or non Chinese speaking family here and they'd feel comfortable enough to order! I really appreciated that. The cashier was very friendly and lit up when she realized I was viet. FOOD: I got the beef chow fun and the salt and pepper tofu. Beef chow fun has the smokiness from the wok and the tofu was perfectly seasoned, albeit I wouldn't recommend getting this to go as it won't be as crispy. Even slightly soft, still great flavors. Cheap for portion size and flavor/authenticity. 5 stars for this style of Chinese food - aka Chinese food you would want at a wedding or home style. It's not $100 Peking duck but that's not what I was looking for from this place anyways!

Pretty good for a corner in the shop store! We ordered beef chow fun, snow pea tips with garlic, pork intestine with mustard greens, rice, and grilled spare ribs

Note this place is inside the food court of the market but it's well worth a visit. green beans were spot on and amazing. Going back again to try other dishes

    Chicken Lo mein
    Cie L.

My daughter wanted Lo mein for dinner so we stop here for some since we were already shopping in city farmers market. Their food stall area was nice and clean and you can clearly see their food menu on the wall with pictures. Customer service was great, the lady took my order and my food came out quick. I tried the Lo mein with my daughter, and she loves it but to me i think it was a little plain. Rating 4 stars since the shop and customer service was good and I only tried the one dish. Definitely will bring the family to dry other dishes to give an updated review.

Some of the furniture were stained/coming apart, the restroom was littered with trash/did not have paper towels. We opted for the SESAME CHICKEN + KUNG PAO CHICKEN + PAN FRIED PAO PORK. The sesame chicken was not crispy fried and the sauce was very sweet. The kung pao chicken was a taste that I've never had in this dish ... sweet with a little bit of spice. The pan fried dumplings were okay as well- not the best I've had but okay. In general, this was an okay food stop but I do not see myself driving purposely over here to eat.

We tried the soup dumplings, which didn't have as much broth as expected, and a chicken and shrimp dish that was supposed to be spicy but came out tasting pretty sweet instead. When we mentioned it to our server, they offered chili oil, which was nice, but I would've preferred to experience the dish as it was intended. The interior is simple and it works fine as a spot for a quick bite. That said, I was specifically craving solid Szechuan flavors, and there are definitely better options nearby if that's what you're looking for. But worth a try if you're in the area or as takeout food too!

We were greeted quickly at both the door and table. For a dumpling house, there weren't that many options for dumplings. We order two types of dumplings, a noodle dish and an entree on recommendation of the staff. The pork soup dumplings were very soupy on the inside and had a good flavor. The pan fried bao dumplings were alright but morning to write home about; I thought the bun to filling ratio was good for a bao though. For noodles we got the house rice noodles. I typically don't order this but I thought it was really well done with a good ratio of ingredients and flavor. Lastly we ordered the sales egg pork ribs. They were cut to bite size pieces but that's deceptive since they were bone in. Some pieces were all bone and some all meat. While the flavor was good, some might call it dry and the cut made it difficult to eat. While the seasoning for all the dishes were flavorful, I thought the salt was a little heavy. Overall the restaurant was clean with a semi modern decor. The staff were all friendly and tried to be helpful throughout the visit. I'd give it a try if you're in the neighborhood.

Overall, we were impressed with their service and food preparation more than the food itself, all the dishes were good, but no dish stands out to my expectations for a Michelin Bib Gourmand, so the price as well. Here was our experience: Appetizer-Signature Salted Chicken: the skin was crispy; we ordered Steamed Pork Dumplings outside of regular menu, it's so so; main dish - Mapo Tofu W. Minced Pork: taste good, tofu was very soft; Stir-Fried Pork Belly with Green Pepper: pork part was good, pepper was on the raw side, not matching the pork; soup - Tofu and Veggies Duck bone Soup: taste diluted with more water; Desert - Peach Gummies with Tremella: cold and smooth. I feel like to give 3 and half stars, but 4 stars anyway.

We started with the Fuqi Feipian, which was on the salty side but otherwise pretty standard. The Seafood Shark Fin Soup was surprisingly bland, as if no salt had been added. We had to add red vinegar just to bring out some flavor, and it could have used more white pepper and seasoning overall. Next was the stir-fried squid with vegetables (I forgot the exact name). It included scallions, taro strips, and red peppers, but the taste was fairly average. The sweet and sour pork (Lychee Pork) was close to the Fujian-style flavor I'm familiar with, though the sauce was a bit light and not as tangy or sweet as expected. We also ordered the seafood fried rice noodles, which were very mild in flavor and lacked wok hei. It felt under-seasoned, almost like the seasoning was forgotten again. One standout dish was the red fermented rice pork intestines with snow peas, a classic Fujian specialty. The red fermented rice flavor really came through, and this dish was definitely worth supporting. The crispy roast duck was another highlight--crispy skin, juicy meat, and served with steamed pancakes, shredded cucumber, scallions, and sweet bean sauce. Very satisfying in every bite. The restaurant also offered complimentary orange slices at the end, which was a nice touch. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and overall it was a fairly filling meal. There are some differences to how menu items are made/taste from when I first had it, so I feel as though the chef has most likely changed. The chicken feet have changed too, but both were good. All the classic items are still basically the same. I liked the pan fried chives dumplings and beef cheung fun here. I can't speak for dinner or how it is on the weekdays, but it's quite busy over the weekends, which is expected for dim sum. Royal China - Disappointing Experience…read more We have been coming to Royal China every year as part of our Christmas tradition, and we've always loved their Peking duck. Unfortunately, this year's experience was extremely disappointing. The service was terrible. We waited 40 minutes just to get our drinks, and after placing our food order, we waited another hour and a half with no food arriving. We were repeatedly told that the food was "coming soon," but nothing came. For reference, we ordered very simple dishes -- green beans, cauliflower, and eggplant -- items that should not take over an hour to prepare. Eventually, the duck arrived after an hour and a half, but none of the side dishes came with it. We had to speak to the manager three separate times, and the staff was rude and dismissive throughout the experience. The restaurant is very authentic, and we were clearly in the minority as guests, but that should never justify such poor service. Sadly, our five-year tradition of spending Christmas here was completely ruined. If you decide to visit this restaurant, be aware that the service can be extremely disappointing.
