    Burnt Garlic Fried Rice Veggies
    Paige R.

I've ordered takeout from here a few times but today I ate in (starving after a doctor appt). Service was friendly. I always order the veg burnt garlic fried rice and I personally love it. Amongst the veggies is baby corn, which I really like and don't see at many places. I order it medium, it's pleasantly spicy. It's a generous portion, usually enough for me to have about half saved for lunch the next day. I also ordered the fresh lime soda and it was so refreshing. Not syrupy sweet - just tangy and light. It was perfect to go with my meal.

This place is the most accurate representation of the "indo chinese" fusion cuisine that's extremely popular in india. Quick and friendly service with a faux fine dine setting. The spice levels are deliciously on the higher side. Of the many times i've dined or taken takeout from here, these items have never disappointed: 1. Veg Burnt garlic fried rice 2. Chicken manchurian gravy 3. Non alcoholic masala lemonade ( ask for less "masala" which are spices 4. Fresh lime soda The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that food is not quite consistently great.

The Pros: The food is good. Good take on the spices and combinations presented. The amount of food received is reasonable for the cost of the dish. The inside of the location is so pretty! Love the decor - somewhat a cross between a "sexy" club and nice dining. The location overall is a good one for the location and the pricing is some what in line with other establishments like this one. The Cons: However, my low rating goes to the service - particular one server. Let me paint the picture like this for you: We arrive and immediately we are greeted by two older men and server #1. Server #1 asks, is this our first time and starts to place the menus on the table. We provide that it is and from there she provides us some additional time to look over the menu and grab our drinks. Issue #1: the menus only list the name and price. It doesn't provide really any information on HOW they prepare their dish. What the adjustment of spice level can be for the dish or anything additional to determine if you want it or if there is something that might not be able to have due to allergies. Suggestion #1: update the menu to include dish descriptions and if the spice level can be adjusted. This helps with understanding the dish and not having confusion with the server trying to figure out what's in it and so on. While we await for server #1 to return, we are approached by server #2. They again are asking if we need any help and if we are ready to order. Okay, it's only been 2 mins, but we let them know we are still looking the menu over. Within 2 mins, server #3 has come over. Again, asking the same thing. At this point, I am like what is going on? Are we talking to long? Then I realize once server #3 leaves there is an issue. There is main server (we will call her "Runner"). Runner is literally running around demanding server #1, #2, and #3 to do this and that. They have no time to even stand and think. You see the stress over their faces - they go to take an order, Runner is right behind them - demanding it be entered a certain way in the system or do this or do that. I felt bad for server #1, she never returned to our table because she was "dragged" here and there. As soon as she would be on the way back, Runner would demand she make this or take this to this table. Server #1 would look at our table, but again - never made it back. There was some much "drama" service was hectic and confusing. We didn't receive some of the items that should have come with the dish. Other tables - were consistency asking for items that should have been provided with the dish. You would look up and see Runner fussing or carrying on with the servers. When in fact, if she would have left them alone - they would have been better at doing their job. Hopefully, this is not the case and this is a one off type of day. Looking at the comments from others regarding service, I don't think so. Runner, should take a lesson in proper customer service and how to treat your wait staff. They are reflect of you - not of themselves. IF you are treating them bad and causing confusion, the rest will be displayed in how they are able to conduct business and attend to your customers. With that, I don't believe we will return for service.

I LOVE a good Indo-Chinese cuisine and I feel like this restaurant is a gem! I'm actually very surprised to see the amount of low rated reviews this restaurant got but it didn't discourage me from trying it anyways. However, I only got to base my review off 2 dishes but those two dishes were enough to sell my mom & I on going back again to try some more. We got the food to takeout, but the restaurant looked clean and we were greeted by friendly waiters. The drums of heaven, which a lot of people know by the name "chicken lollipops" was absolutely delicious and very flavorful. The angry shrimp were pretty good too, tasted like any other saucy firecracker shrimp. You can get the food extra mild, mild, medium, and hot. We chose medium and it had a good amount of heat to it so if you can't take spicy food don't underestimate medium.

Update for my last review... This place still rocks!! Don't let the seemingly low volume of patrons worry you. They have a thriving take-out business, and they had a 50-person order go out while I was there despite only 4 couples dining in. The food is AMAZING, FRESH, AND PACKED WITH FLAVOR!

Black pepper chicken. Good. Tasted a bit like chilli chicken with black peppers.

I have been here for dining for more times than I care to admit, this is a rock solid place for indo-chinese food! The waiting time for food is not long at all, usually within 10/15 minutes, which is a big plus and cant say the same for other good Indian places (Looking at you Anjappar) Drums of heaven, Manchurial Chicken, Chilli Chicken, Black pepper chicken, pepper cottage cheese, Szechuan fried rice, hakka noodles -- all very good, very satisfying. The corn kernel starter is absolutely amazing, crunch chewy corns smothered in green onion, salt pepper garlic-- awesome. Ginger Chicken, burnt Garlic fish -- also good, but prefer the items above. Was always served with polite service.

I am not impressed with the food, but I think their food is good enough to give them 3 stars. They def lack flavor in dishes without the sauces they give you that you really gotta add to bring out the flavors in their dishes. For the price though, they give so much food! I think it's a great place to go with friends and family as their servings are huge and with the price. My suggestion is to work a bit of the flavors of all the meals and I would this this restaurant has potential!

My most favorite Indo-Chinese restaurant. (Note: if you're unfamiliar with Indo-Chinese cuisine and has never tried it, do not look further) The inside of this restaurant is pretty spacious and welcoming. Really good for large groups with reservations of course. I have always experienced great service from the folks here; may it be dine in or pick up. Sweet Corn chicken soup, Chili lamb fry are my favorite appetizers. Love their Hakka noodles , Singapore noodles, Szechuan noodles/fried rice , chicken manchurian. The list goes on.

Imperial Garden has long been my go-to place for Chinese food, but over my last few visits, I have noticed that the quality of the meat has gone down The restaurant layout is split into two rooms. The first room features booths and an elevated seating section, while the second room has tables for larger groups. The decor is simple and traditional. The service here is still very good. Although I haven't gotten my favorite waitress during my last few visits, she made a point to come over and talk to me this last time. She even remembered my exact order and that I like it prepared without onions, which I truly appreciated! Unfortunately, the beef itself seemed a little rubbery. A few of the pieces were completely fine, so I am not sure whether the meat was just overcooked or had sat under a heat lamp too long before being served. The fried rice seemed better than ever, though, as was the eggroll. I think I will need to start trying some new vegetarian or alternative dishes here on my next visits to avoid the meat, as I still really enjoy the local atmosphere and excellent service.

Two stand-by Chinese starters, Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon, are a great way to begin any meal. The Egg Rolls are big, crispy and full of flavor. The Crab Rangoon are the best I have had anywhere. These won-won wonders are tender with a silky-smooth Cream Cheese and Crab filing. Imperial Garden does all the basic Chinese Chicken dishes to perfection. The Hunan Chicken, is slightly spicy and stir-fried with a few vegetables in a savory sauce. My grandkids love the Sesame Chicken). These bite-size chunks of Chicken are coated with a thick, sticky, slightly sweet sauce and liberally coated with Sesame Seeds. Two other favorites are General Tso's Chicken - double fried and sautéed with fresh green peppers in spicy sauce and Empress Chicken - marinated chicken, lightly fried and sautéed with broccoli, baby corn, straw mushroom & water chestnuts. Peking Style dishes are another winner. Whether it's Shrimp. Pork, Beef or Chicken; these tender morsels are coated in a tempura-like slurry, stir-fried to perfection and smothered in your favorite sauce. I like the Sweet & Sour Pork version. It comes with a bit of Carrot, Water Chestnut, Bell Pepper and Onion; and is served with either White Rice or Fried rice. Throw in a lightly-hopped ice-cold Tsingtau, sit back, and savor the moment.

I went for dinner on a Saturday and it was packed so expect a slight wait at peak hours. Parking can also be tight as it is located downtown. We were seated quickly and our food came out FAST! Great service. My friend and I shared the Scallion Pancake, Bang Bang Shrimp, Dry-Sautéed Green Beans, and Spicy Crispy Fish. We definitely got one too many dishes, but I am glad we got to try them. The Scallion Pancake was solid. It had the right amount of thinness and flakiness. I would love to taste more scallion next time, though. I think that the sauce that it came with was a bit sweet and I would rather a more savory or saltier sauce to pair with the pancake. The Bang Bang Shrimp was under the appetizer category but it looked like an entree. Lots of small shrimp in a creamy, sweet, and spicy chili sauce. I loved it! The Dry-Sauteed Green Beans were probably my least favorite dish. I wish it had a taste (or more of a taste) of soy sauce or garlic, but it was still decent. The Crispy Spicy Fish is definitely one of the most popular dishes here and it lived it up to the hype! Not sure what seasonings were on the fish, but it tasted a bit salty, spicy, and savory. The fish also tasted fresh to me. We also received complimentary rice, which was needed with our savory dishes! I would definitely come back here in the future! There are so many options for food on their menu and almost everything was a hit. Plus, service was fantastic. I recommend going with a large group to do family style and really try a lot of the menu items.

I had someone's General Tsao and it was way spicier than most (which was great) but really, really, goopy and sugary (which wasn't.) All in all, if you're adventurous, and you're tired of the same old American-Chinese I would give this place a run and I would actually avoid those items on the menu should you dine here.

Warning: Everything on their menu is dangerously addictive. You've been warned! Our Favorites 2. Pork Dumpling (Siu Mai / Siomai) -- Steamed pork in a wonton wrapper, perfectly juicy with just the right balance of pork and vegetables in every bite. A delicious classic done right. 6. Beef Onion Dumpling in Chili Sauce -- One of the best dumplings we've had--and we've been to dim sum spots all over the world! The beef is flavorful and juicy, wrapped in a thin, perfectly chewy skin. The chili sauce complements the filling beautifully without overpowering it. Generous portion, amazing value, flawless execution. 9. Steamed BBQ Pork Bun -- Soft, fluffy buns filled with mildly sweet BBQ pork. Comforting, classic, and delicious every time. 11. I've had the pleasure of eating some really good dim sum, and while I can admit that the dim sum here will never be as good as places in New York, I can say that they do a decent job and that the experience will be enjoyable for any eater. Rather than delivering dishes on the traditional cart, Dim Sum Asian Bistro uses a menu where you can mark off the dishes that you want. There are a lot of different steamed, fried, and a la carte options that you can choose from. A lot of the basics are done pretty well. They have good pan fried dumplings, shrimp dumplings, shao mai, and coconut pudding. They also have some other, complex dishes that we really enjoy. Their curry powder turnip cake is some of the best out there. The curry flavor pops and the fry is absolutely perfect. Crispy on the outside, but warm and soft on the inside. They also make their chicken feet really well, which is a tough one to do sometimes. I know that there will be some good options. Although Dim Sum Asian Bistro has some good things, they also serve some things that you would just be better off not ordering. They have three different types of rice crepe dishes with meat. Their best is easily the shrimp, and you should stick to that. In fact, I would avoid the beef version at all costs, it is made with a beef paste and the texture was so strange, it was kind of unappetizing! I also think their fried rice could use some work, and I think some items, like their custard buns, could have come from the frozen section. I think my family can be pretty critical about dim sum since it has been a big part of our personal culture. However, sometimes I feel I need to take a step back and look at it broadly. I've come here with some of my friends who don't eat dim sum consistently and they are always wowed by the experience. From that perspective, I can see how this place hits the mark. They serve pretty authentic food and make it taste good. There is always a buzz about the restaurant and people come and go over the weekend. It's no wonder you might have to wait to get a table, Dim Sum Asian Bistro is definitely doing something right!

All of the food comes on a cart and there really isn't a ton of room on the table for all of it so we were shifting plates around a lot and they would come by and take the empty or dirty plates very quickly. Drinks were never empty and everyone was friendly. It is a bit of an upscale style for a hot pot restaurant with some asian flair such as the Japanese toy vending machines. You can buy tokens for them at the desk, I think it was 6 for $5. Again, one of the kids dropped one under the machines and they just gave us another. I don't think any of them won anything anyway. I would definitely come back here for a date night but this place excels with groups and is very affordable with a big group so that's what I'd lean into if I was picking a hot pot restaurant.

The delicious smells wafting through the restaurant immediately let me know that I was in the right place. I ordered the Fatty Beef Szechuan Hotpot Yunnan Rice Noodle & Fried Dumplings. Both arrived in no time, and were piping hot on a cold winter's day. The fried dumplings were crispy, not at all greasy, and filled with very flavorful filling, coupled with a perfectly paired dipping sauce. The hotpot... oh, the hotpot, was filled with pillowy fried tofu, fatty and tender beef, cabbage, wood ear mushroom shreds, seaweed, bean sprouts, and a ton of noodles. All of this was swimming in some of the most amazing Szechuan peppercorn broth that was spicy, but not numbing and not overpowering. It was the perfect broth to wrap each ingredient in flavor. After I finished all of the delicious beef and veggies, I went for the noodles. I never really new what "bouncy" meant when describing noodles until today. They were truly bouncy in with every bite, silky smooth, tender but with a little bit of bite to them. I ate every morsel that I could fit in my stomach and not explode... this was the perfect winter dish for this South Florida eater.

The quail egg was the heart of it. Got the bone broth this time. While the broth is good, it's not great to the point I'd crave for this. I'm honestly not a big fan of the rice noodles but they went well with the broth. My girl got the noodle dish with the beef tripe, and we also ordered beef tripe for appetizer and milky rice cake for dessert. The beef tripe is one of our favorite appetizers, and it's perfect with Japanese beer. The noodles are a bit spicy but the spice level was adjusted low to my girl's liking. The rice cakes were good but not the best we've tried. It's something we'd order again though. For 2 people, we ended up spending around $50, including tips, so reasonably priced but not as satisfying as a dim sum dinner. | Overall Score: | Overall Score: 4.1/5
