Another upscale Indian restaurant that does it right. There's some jokers out there but this one is legit. Food was great and would absolutely return. The gongura chicken was unbelievable. First time ever trying it and it really was a nice surprise. Just the right amount of kick and so much chicken and curry. Easily fed two adults. Naan was pillowy soft too. This is the place I'd take out of towners for that upscale vibe without breaking the bank !

We had an amazing experience at Kaara! It's located in Sweetwater Apex. The moment you walk in, you can tell it's an upscale restaurant. The decor is beautiful, modern, and really well thought out. Everything felt clean and polished, and the service matched the ambiance. Our server was attentive but the rest of the staff did seem overbearing (all watching us) since we where the only people in the restaurant when they opened. I really appreciated the small touches like changing our plates after the appetizers. We started with the Gobi Manchurian, which was fried perfectly crispy on the outside and full of flavor (we got it mild) and the Chur Chur Amul Cheese Kulcha, which came out warm, soft, and wonderfully spongy. For our mains, we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, and Nellore Fish Curry. The Chicken Malibu Tikka with Coconut Cream came out sizzling with fragrant vegetables and deliciously flavored chicken pieces (looked like it was cooked on a kabob). Every dish was beautifully presented, rich in flavor, and not oily like some Indian restaurants. Another big plus: one person in our group has an egg allergy, and the staff went out of their way to make sure certain dishes we ordered didn't contain any egg. We will definitely be back. Personally I think this is the best Indian restaurant around.

Our first time here and it won't be our last! Perfect portion size for the main dishes. Samosas and garlic naan were amazing. The people were so attentive and checked on us frequently. Love the decor, great ambiance.

Biryani? More like Mango Masala Mystery…read more Walked into Indian Bawarchi in Apex expecting biryani... walked out questioning my life choices. Ordered the boneless chicken biryani--was it Hyderabadi? North Indian? Nope. It was something entirely new: Sour Surprise Biryani, featuring what felt like a handful of amchur (dried mango powder) and a complete lack of actual biryani flavor. I'm convinced someone in the kitchen confused the spice rack with the candy shelf. Tandoori appetizer? Sizzling, yes. Memorable? Meh. Garlic naan was decent--if only naan could carry the whole meal on its doughy shoulders. Service: 3/5 Two waiters, two tables, one manager--sounds promising, right? Not really. We had to remind them we ordered biryani (you know, the main dish). "Oh, you ordered biryani?" Yes, my guy. That's kind of the whole point. Also had to clear our own table like it was a self-service picnic. Ambience: 4/5 Nice space, clean, decent vibe. Sadly, ambience doesn't come with a side of flavor. Total bill: $50 for a biryani, tandoori chicken, naan, and lime soda. Felt more like a fine-dine price for a college cafeteria meal. Verdict: Come for the naan, stay for... well, maybe just the naan. Biryani fans, enter at your own risk.

The food is delicious and they definitely can make it as spicy as you want it. We came at an off time (2-3pm), but the staff was still attentive and the food came out quick. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who lives here or is just passing by and looking for some great Indian cuisine.

I didn't realize when I first searched nearby and found this location, but it has multiple cuisine spot. I remember thinking as I was driving over that 'man I wish she liked Indian food' because I hadn't had any in some time. Much to my delight when we got here, I discovered not only were their Thai and Chinese inspired stuff, there was a nice large selection of Indian options. She got some chicken lo main, and I got palak paneer. She got some spring rolls, and I got my favorite Samosas. I introduced her to the papadum and chutneys that were given before the meal and she was a trooper and tried them all. Food arrived, was hot, fresh, and delicious. With the samosas it was too much for me to finish my palak paneer and I'm eating it now as I type this up for lunch on Sunday. Lo mein was well liked, she doesn't have a spice tolerance though and a 3 was a bit much for her. she said the spring rolls were great, and had finished off the lomein she brought home by Saturday night. Really great place you should check it out, they do delivery and stuff, but it was great to go in somewhere in person and enjoy a meal. Not a giant seating area but plenty of room to come in sit down and enjoy stuff.
