We went here on a weekend for lunch, but sadly just missed there buffet lunch by 30 mins. The server kindly informed us and asked if we would like to order from the menu which we did because we were absolutely starving! It looks like they have a ton of seating available, we sat at the booth. The booth was hotter than the tables aince it did not have any vents around but it wasnt too bad. It took a but for them tk take our order but since it was off peak time it made sense. We ordered the chicken momos, kadhai paneer, dal makahni and garlic, green chilli naan. The food again too longer than expected to come out, but they served papad with chutney to keep us munching. They even asked if we wanted a refill which we gladly accepted. Then the food came and we were on cloud 9! The flavors were a smah hit, every note and every apice could be tasted beautifully and we enjoyed every single bite of our mealz it was spicy but not artificially so, they gave us a ton of rice which we happily took home for dinner. This is an amazing spot and the prices are great too! Give it a shot if yourin town!

Guys I'm loving this place. I need to come back for their lunch buffet because that's a great deal! We got butter chicken and tikki masala. Spice levels were 2 and 3 out of 10 (we're wimps, I know) and I thought it was perfect. Still flavorful! Everyone gets flatbreads with three dips. I don't know what they are but the red one with onions was the best in my opinion. Finally, the lovely naan. I've been dreaming about that garlic naan. It did things to me. Awoken my spirit. I could kiss the chef. Definitely check out this place!

It was so good!! Service was top notch and the Gobi Manchurian was to die for. Excellent new establishment on all fronts!

Pretty good food here! Take note: this place is located very close to the NC State campus, which means that parking is pretty difficult to find. A nifty spot with a unique fusion approach. The food I think was pretty good, but there wasn't anything that hit my wow factor. The service was very good though, the waiter was very polite and they offer rice refills as you eat your food. As someone who likes to portion my rice and curry in a 3:1 ratio, I really appreciated being able to get more rice. While we waited we were also offered starters to keep us steady while we waited for our food. Nice place, give it a try if you're conveniently in the area!

Always friendly and fast service and easily among the best Indian and Nepalese cuisine restaurants in the area. They get spicy right and it keeps me coming back. While I always get take out the establishment feels authentic too. Highly recommend.

Great food, great service. We ordered the Paneer Kabobs, and the Chicken and Lamb Tika Masala with Garlic and Onion naan. Flavors were spot on. Would recommend and would come back!

So we were cruising through Raleigh and decided to stop for Indian.Came across KABAB AND CURRY, fusion spot, it's in front of the campus so parking is something you have to search for. Nice building with enough seating, atmosphere and go from loud to intimate depending on the time of day. Brownie points!!-they serve papadom right off the back with chutneys that's how you know a place cares for its hungry customers! We ordered Vegetable pakora,Lamb tika masala, garlic naan, and samosa chaat. The pakora was amazing, the lamb was cooked very well-tika was ok, samosa chaat was very well plated,Garlic naan was super fluffy good for soaking up curry

Food delivery experience: I've ordered at least three different times. The food is delicious. Always almost piping hot even after being delivered, and the quality of the food preparation is top tier compared to other restaurants I've tried multiple times. They have yet to fall short on the taste, quality, and temperature of the food. One of my favorites in the area. I had the Gobi Manchurian and the Tikka Masala. I would love to have more chicken. I believe I counted only about 12 pieces, but i will say this is consistent with all orders. I can usually eat on this two or three times, depending on my appetite. I always have leftover rice that i throw away, so this is why i would like more chicken. Everything is delicious as usual on every order. I've also tried the Lamb Tikka, and that's always very good. I look forward to dining in soon.

We came here for Saturday lunch buffet, and it was amazing!! Very clean place, such good food, and great staff. Price was only $15.95/person. The had chicken tikka masala out, and that was one of my favs. They also had a spinach cottage cheese dish that was SO GOOD!!! We will definitely be coming back. Also, spice level was very manageable (not too bad).

    That's a $1.95 "cup" of Raita

This would be a four star rating but ... We've ordered from K&C multiple times because the food is really good and authentic. One of the reasons we enjoy the food is that besides the flavors and authenticity is that the portions are good-sized but not overwhelming. Especially their papadam. Tonight we ordered two orders, as we usually do and what we got for $1.95 each were two busted up single papad (one in each package). Usually when we do an order of two they give us enough to last several days to enjoy with leftovers. The naan were also not very fresh, rubbery and not at all tasty. The Raita (also $1.95) was a small cup, definitely not shareable I'm disappointed. I know it can be better than this. The Chicken Tikka Masala was very good.

Remarkable restaurant. It's bordering NC state campus on hillsbourgouh at a prime location, very walkable. The food was outstanding, very flavorful and the mango jalfrezi was the best dish. The garlic naan was good but not too special. The onion paratha was okay but the biryani was excellent. Such big portions for a very good price made the value of this place feel good. Ambiance and service was great as well. I'd def recommend this place!

"Nepalese and Indian food in downtown Raleigh, near Marriott"…read more With a great location, this is VERY close to the Raleigh Convention Center. We arrived on a Thursday night at 6pm with a group of 5. The dining area didn't really accommodate a group that size, but they made it work by moving tables around, which was nice. The place was not very large, but there was maybe only one other family eating inside. The bathroom was clean. I split two dishes with my son-- salmon tikka masala and shrimp (prawn) saag, both coming with rice. We were given some papadum, I think, as a snack as we waited on the food, along with some spicy dips. Food came in maybe 10 minutes or so, which was great timing. However, I have to say, both dishes we tried were underwhelming. The shrimp was oddly translucent and not very flavorful in its dish, and the spinach in the saag wasn't especially tasty (though it did have a nice spiciness). The tikka masala sauce was great, but the salmon also was pretty underwhelming. We both said we'd probably just get chicken next time and not splurge the extra for the salmon. No dish was "bad", but just we expected them to be delicious and they were just OK. I'm just really surprised given how many people said this was the "best Indian" they'd had. The staff were friendly-- refilled drinks well and were good at answering questions. And the price was reasonable. Altogether, I'll give it 4 stars given the great location, good service, good price, but not 5 given the food was "just OK". Realistically, I probably wouldn't go back-- we have lots of great Indian in Durham and Chapel Hill, so I'd rather wait and get that.

Beware of the high yelp rating!…read more We were starving and excited to try this place after a couple hour hike at Umstead yesterday. We LOVE northern Indian and Nepalese food and were lured by the high yelp rating. I'll start with the good. The server was kind and efficient. The chili chicken momo were delicious. The rice and garlic naan were average to good as well. However, our butter chicken and our chicken korma tasted like nothing. It was very strange. There was texture and you could kind of taste the chicken itself but the sauces tasted like nothing. You could almost only tell the two apart based on color and texture. We ordered one of them medium spice and one mild. Even the medium spiced dish had zero flavor. I kind of thought to myself that something was off when the colors looked bright but we couldn't taste a thing. I kept thinking maybe the flavor or heat will build. It never did. Nevertheless we ate everything bc we were starving, but we were definitely disappointed in the lack of flavor. Not long after we left, our stomachs were kind of on edge but we figured this was simply from eating too much. This morning we both woke up ILL. Even though we discussed coming back for the chili momo only in the future, we have since changed our tune. I love locally-owned businesses and hate to leave a bad review but we truly did not have a 4+ star experience here. We won't be back.

I grabbed take-out from here recently and I was a little disappointed by the quality of the butter chicken. It wasn't terrible but the competition is really fierce because there are so many great restaurants serving this cuisine in the area. I will say that we ordered it mild (so that my preschooler would enjoy it) and it was definitely mild, unlike some of the other restaurants in the area :) The sauce just didn't have the depth of flavor that I've experienced at other places. The rice was slightly overcooked, and the naan were not bad but were a little overly chewy. I will say that my wife loved her lamb saag and my mother-in-law really enjoyed her saag paneer, so there's that. Overall, since my family liked it so much, I'd order from here again, but I'd get something different from the butter chicken next time.
