I highly recommend this place. Best Indian restaurant in Apex/Cary/Morrisville area. We eat out and order food A LOT, Bawarchi never disappoints us! Food tastes AMAZING and is prepared in a very timely manner. It has gotten to the point where we use Uber eats and order Bawarchi every Friday and Saturday. Keep up the good work guys!

Tried this place a few times now, very inconsistent, sometimes too spicy, or too oily, the last time the food was just burnt black. If you burn the food that's one thing, but to then put it on a plate and serve it anyway, demonstrates a level of callousness that is unforgiveable. Will not return

I was pretty hype about coming to this place but I was disappointed to say the least. Ambience and location is great but food was sub-par. We ordered the following with feedback inclusive: - Gobi Manchurian: probably the worst I've had. Several cauliflower chunks were uncooked. Disappointed. - bawarchi margarita and Bawarchi mojito: really yummy drinks - butter chicken: lacked flavor. Chicken was hard. Disappointing. - shahi paneer: lacked flavor. Asked for level 8/10 spice but it wasn't spicy at all. Disappointed. -kadikudi chicken: really good. Probably the only thing adding stars to this review. Flavorful and chicken was soft. - garlic naan and chapati: so dry. Almost felt like they reheated some previously made bread. Disappointed. service was very slow. There were barely 2 tables taken but it still took a while to get our food. I also had to walk to the bar to pay for my food and ask for to go boxes. And lastly, it's pricy. Everything cost us around $100. With the inflation I understand, but they didn't deliver the flavors. Disappointed overall. I dont recommend this place.

Since "Spirits" is in the title, I'll start with the Chardonnay. It wasn't Chardonnay! Our sweet, kind server insisted the red wine he brought me was what I ordered. "Chardonnay is white," I said. His response: "But I pressed Chardonnay on the computer, and this is what I got." I think it might have been Pinot Noir, but who knows? Our server certainly didn't. I kept it and it was fine, but it wasn't Chardonnay. Everything else was terrific! We started with "Chilly Mushrooms," which were crispy, tasty, covered with a spicy sauce and loaded with sweet peppers and tomatoes. We really liked the Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Curry, too. Both were well-spiced, though not quite as spicy as we were expecting. The accompanying basmati rice was really good, too. Despite the Chardonnay Incident, our server was great. He was eager to help, kept our water glasses full, and checked on us regularly. His pride in the restaurant was obvious. We're looking forward to returning, but next time, I might skip the "spirits." .

We were seated at their event section since we were 5 people but the round tables are big and did not give that cozy feeling so we moved to their regular area which faces the outside. The tables are a little cramped if you are 4 and more. We ordered mocktails and cocktails for drinks. They all tasted pretty good, main highlight was the Long Island ice tea that was strong and well made. For starters we ordered their beetroot chaat, amritsari fish and their tandoori platter. Fish was really disappointing, the chickpea batter used to fry the fish was still uncooked and we could taste the uncooked batter and spices which was not great. The beetroot chaat was something different but pretty average again. Their tandoori platter was great, everything well marinated and well cooked. Shrimp was overcooked and hard but I would give them 8 out of 10 for that dish. For main course we ordered their daal makhni, butter chicken reimagined and mutton rogan josh. Daal makhni was average and missed that Smokey flavour that it usually has, there was nothing reimagined in their butter chicken really, loads of gravy and very few pieces of chicken, tasted average again. But hats off to the chef for their mutton rogan josh, extremely well made and a must try, delicate mutton pieces in a gravy full of flavor. Their naans were good too. We were too full for dessert and also a little disappointed with the overall food so did not order any dessert. For all this we paid around $250 including tip so I would say price wise it's pretty reasonable. Service was good and fast, no complains there, will definitely go again for few of their dishes that we loved.

Our server was Sushmita, she guided us through the menu well and told us which things are popular. We enjoyed all the recommendation. We had Navratan korma, chicken butter masala, Hakka noodles, crispy corn, mango soda, katha mitha drinks and we enjoyed everything we ordered. There are nice desserts but one has to know what you're ordering. There is a new take on gulab jamon but we didn't try that. Instead we went for double metha (also described as bread pudding). We found out that wasn't anything like bread pudding we are used to. Then we found out there is a double metha dish from hyderabad (we haven't had that one before). The ambiance is awesome overall and bathroom looks luxury - i shared some pictures here. The Sweetwater shopping center seems to be nice place to hang out and we will definitely be here again soon.

I didn't realize when I first searched nearby and found this location, but it has multiple cuisine spot. I remember thinking as I was driving over that 'man I wish she liked Indian food' because I hadn't had any in some time. Much to my delight when we got here, I discovered not only were their Thai and Chinese inspired stuff, there was a nice large selection of Indian options. She got some chicken lo main, and I got palak paneer. She got some spring rolls, and I got my favorite Samosas. I introduced her to the papadum and chutneys that were given before the meal and she was a trooper and tried them all. Food arrived, was hot, fresh, and delicious. With the samosas it was too much for me to finish my palak paneer and I'm eating it now as I type this up for lunch on Sunday. Lo mein was well liked, she doesn't have a spice tolerance though and a 3 was a bit much for her. she said the spring rolls were great, and had finished off the lomein she brought home by Saturday night. Really great place you should check it out, they do delivery and stuff, but it was great to go in somewhere in person and enjoy a meal. Not a giant seating area but plenty of room to come in sit down and enjoy stuff.

The crust was not stellar. It was not thin (I prefer thick) but it was kind of limp, not crisp, so it was virtually impossible to pick up a single slice with my hands. I ended up cutting pieces to make them more manageable or used a fork under an entire slice to help support it while I ate. It didn't stop me from eating all the crust, up to the edges, which is my usual modus operandi. The plasticware was kind of on the shabby side. There were a few (less than a dozen) loose forks and spoons (not wrapped) in a station where you get such stuff. Curiously, there were no knives but I thought I would ask if I needed one. It turns out that I did want a knife, I asked the staff, they rooted around a bit, but couldn't find any at first. I keep a small supply of plasticware, napkins, etc in my car so I got a knife from there. In the meantime, the staff did turn up a couple of individually-wrapped plastic knives. I used mine instead and put the knives with the other plasticware for others to use. I ate half of the pizza at the restaurant and I got a takeaway box for the other half of the pizza for dinner. I will probably return to try other things.
