Our server was Sushmita, she guided us through the menu well and told us which things are popular. We enjoyed all the recommendation. We had Navratan korma, chicken butter masala, Hakka noodles, crispy corn, mango soda, katha mitha drinks and we enjoyed everything we ordered. There are nice desserts but one has to know what you're ordering. There is a new take on gulab jamon but we didn't try that. Instead we went for double metha (also described as bread pudding). We found out that wasn't anything like bread pudding we are used to. Then we found out there is a double metha dish from hyderabad (we haven't had that one before). The ambiance is awesome overall and bathroom looks luxury - i shared some pictures here. The Sweetwater shopping center seems to be nice place to hang out and we will definitely be here again soon.

We were seated at their event section since we were 5 people but the round tables are big and did not give that cozy feeling so we moved to their regular area which faces the outside. The tables are a little cramped if you are 4 and more. We ordered mocktails and cocktails for drinks. They all tasted pretty good, main highlight was the Long Island ice tea that was strong and well made. For starters we ordered their beetroot chaat, amritsari fish and their tandoori platter. Fish was really disappointing, the chickpea batter used to fry the fish was still uncooked and we could taste the uncooked batter and spices which was not great. The beetroot chaat was something different but pretty average again. Their tandoori platter was great, everything well marinated and well cooked. Shrimp was overcooked and hard but I would give them 8 out of 10 for that dish. For main course we ordered their daal makhni, butter chicken reimagined and mutton rogan josh. Daal makhni was average and missed that Smokey flavour that it usually has, there was nothing reimagined in their butter chicken really, loads of gravy and very few pieces of chicken, tasted average again. But hats off to the chef for their mutton rogan josh, extremely well made and a must try, delicate mutton pieces in a gravy full of flavor. Their naans were good too. We were too full for dessert and also a little disappointed with the overall food so did not order any dessert. For all this we paid around $250 including tip so I would say price wise it's pretty reasonable. Service was good and fast, no complains there, will definitely go again for few of their dishes that we loved.

Bawarchi Grill & Spirits - Kurakodi chicken. This was the next best thing to the two drinks we got. It was good!

Biryani? More like Mango Masala Mystery…read more Walked into Indian Bawarchi in Apex expecting biryani... walked out questioning my life choices. Ordered the boneless chicken biryani--was it Hyderabadi? North Indian? Nope. It was something entirely new: Sour Surprise Biryani, featuring what felt like a handful of amchur (dried mango powder) and a complete lack of actual biryani flavor. I'm convinced someone in the kitchen confused the spice rack with the candy shelf. Tandoori appetizer? Sizzling, yes. Memorable? Meh. Garlic naan was decent--if only naan could carry the whole meal on its doughy shoulders. Service: 3/5 Two waiters, two tables, one manager--sounds promising, right? Not really. We had to remind them we ordered biryani (you know, the main dish). "Oh, you ordered biryani?" Yes, my guy. That's kind of the whole point. Also had to clear our own table like it was a self-service picnic. Ambience: 4/5 Nice space, clean, decent vibe. Sadly, ambience doesn't come with a side of flavor. Total bill: $50 for a biryani, tandoori chicken, naan, and lime soda. Felt more like a fine-dine price for a college cafeteria meal. Verdict: Come for the naan, stay for... well, maybe just the naan. Biryani fans, enter at your own risk.

The food is delicious and they definitely can make it as spicy as you want it. We came at an off time (2-3pm), but the staff was still attentive and the food came out quick. I didn't realize when I first searched nearby and found this location, but it has multiple cuisine spot. I remember thinking as I was driving over that 'man I wish she liked Indian food' because I hadn't had any in some time. Much to my delight when we got here, I discovered not only were their Thai and Chinese inspired stuff, there was a nice large selection of Indian options. She got some chicken lo main, and I got palak paneer. She got some spring rolls, and I got my favorite Samosas. I introduced her to the papadum and chutneys that were given before the meal and she was a trooper and tried them all. Food arrived, was hot, fresh, and delicious. With the samosas it was too much for me to finish my palak paneer and I'm eating it now as I type this up for lunch on Sunday. Lo mein was well liked, she doesn't have a spice tolerance though and a 3 was a bit much for her. she said the spring rolls were great, and had finished off the lomein she brought home by Saturday night. Really great place you should check it out, they do delivery and stuff, but it was great to go in somewhere in person and enjoy a meal. Not a giant seating area but plenty of room to come in sit down and enjoy stuff.
