Solid Nepalese food, liked that you could specify the spice level, felt like the service was a bit rushed. The food itself was pretty good, the momos were well done and the plating on the momo sizzler was pretty fun to watch come out. The goat curry was thick and paired well with the roti we ordered. My only criticism is that the service felt rushed, I'm sure these are the growing pains of a new restaurant, but I would have appreciated more time before plates started getting collected from the table. Overall, this is a solid place. Give it a try if you're looking for Nepalese!

The food was good. The service and server making fun of my husband was not. I wanted to try a new local spot and solicit local spots. My husband and I arrived a bit past lunch. They were closing about 1.5 hours later. The host/server asked us where we wanted to sit but it didn't matter because everyone else was done and he was the only server. The wait to get water was about 8 minutes. Generally when I trained servers it should be 60 seconds or less when not busy. At that time he didn't even offer to take our order although menus were closed. We finally ordered and the food was good. There was no table check and the kitchen staff was sitting on the last booth passing water bottles around like it was Hooch. I'm not sure if this was just an off experience but I'd do take out and never dine in again.

Third Eye Momo has definitely earned my accolades and exceeded my expectations for their very attentive service, comfortably casual ambiance & delicious food. Most Indian restaurants tend to overspice their food by amping up the heat levels. We have someone who is intolerant of the spiciness that's usually in most Indian dishes. The staff at Third Eye was very attentive, making sure that they dishes were tailored to our tolerance level and checking in on us regularly. I have rarely encountered this type of service in the Indian restaurants in the area. The food was exceptional. Everything was very well flavored and cooked well. The chow mein had the prized wok (kadai ?) fragrance that is a hallmark of a great stir fry. The sauce in the chicken mango jalfreizi is amazingly addictive & the chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The only dish that we weren't as enthused about was the shikarni, yogurt dessert. It was delicious but for us, it was more of a breakfast flavor like yogurt with cinnamon, dried fruit & nuts. Third Eye will be definitely added onto our regular rotation as we can't wait to test their other offerings.

This was my first time trying momos, and they were good. They were fresh and had a little liquid inside. The Butter Chicken was from the lunch meal, and it was a perfect portion. You can't go wrong ordering from here. If you can't handle spicy food, they have a wide range of levels starting from 1 to 10.

Great local Indian food that we have enjoyed no matter what we try there. We've tried the Balti, Navaratna Korma, Kadri, and the Chicken and Vegetable momos. I think we liked the Chicken momos better between the two and will try the paneer next. The lunch special includes rice and bread, so it's a good way to try them out.

I had lunch today and got chicken Jhol Momos (steamed MoMo dunked in Sichuan pepper spiced roasted tomato sauce). You specify the spiciness on a scale of 1 to 10. I love hot spice so I went with 7. That was about perfect for me - I could probably go 8 but not much more. The MoMos were excellent. Service was a little slow and I couldn't communicate well with some of the staff. I also wish their menu on their website was more up-to-date and accurate: prices were higher than on the website, the web menu said they did lunch specials daily but they only do them weekdays, and I think the in-restaurant menu has many more items than the website version.

(If it's any relation the parking in the whole plaza was easy- not something usual for this time of night). However, they had anywhere from 6-10 pickup orders while I was there. The service was quick to bring me water and made my mock Pina colada right away. I ordered one of the cauliflower appetizers, cheese naan, and goat tikka masala (not on the menu, but I asked the waiter what his favorite sauce was and told him I wanted goat. This was his recommendation. It tasted so delicious and the portions were huge. I took home what I would have normally received from a to-go order from other restaurants. Everything was clean and well maintained. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would but because of how delicious it was, I'll round up. My only very small complaint was that they had an awesome glossary of terms, but were still lacking several descriptors. Pictures would have been super helpful! Overall- I'll be back.

Anddddd, the best dosa in the Triangle goes to..... BLR Bar in Morrisville!…read more A few months back, I had planned a group dinner with a bunch of friends and one person recommended BLR Bar. I love Indian so I said "sure, why not!" A group of 8 of us went and as we all scoured the menu, it occurred to us that this place was vegetarian only. My initial thought (and I'm sure other peoples also) was.. "oh snap.... Did I make a mistake?" Honestly, it's been a long time that I've been to a non-meat establishment and had I known in advance, I probably would have passed this restaurant up, but since I was already there, I, along with everyone else, went with it. We were all seated, drinks had been poured, everyone was committed to their chairs. There was no backing out. From looking at the menu, it seemed like Dosas were popular so being that it was supposed to be a South Indian restaurant, I decided to get it. My friends got the gobi, one spicy and one non spicy. Guys, the spicy was incredibleee. Loved it so much. It was crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside and had a punch to it. But I will say, the non-spicy was just okay, it just didn't deliver that kick to it. When the dosa came, I was in love. It was a beautifully done dosa, with the perfect curl and texture. Paired with the sides, it was delicious. Fast forward six months later, I went to BLR Bar again, but slightly fearful that I wouldn't enjoy it as much the second time around. My fears were put to rest because it was just as delicious as the first time. If you're looking for authentic southern Indian Dosas, look no further. Pay BLR Bar & Curry a visit ASAP!

When I asked the staff here, they said they were speakers of Kannada, a language from the south Indian state of Karnataka. And while I have had many restaurant meals as well as home cooked food from more than one, Indian colleague, in addition to my own culinary efforts, this place did offer some new flavors for me.nThe place was busy, and if I were rating the bathroom so I wouldn't give them five stars. From a mouthwatering menu, I managed to defer on a dosa in exchange for a soup delivered with some fried dumplings and a delectable mix of herbs and spices. My entrée was a dry fried okra dish, which came with peanuts, which made it quite heavy I asked for it hot and this wasn't the most immediate spice sensation, but the delayed burn was considerable. It came with some delightful vegetable ribbons on top. Having said that this was the kind of place where I also found myself gazing. It was the other tables ordered with longing. They asked me to come back sometime and if I am in the neighborhood, I would certainly look to return.
