Excellent choice for vegetarian Indian cuisine in Morrisville. BLR catered a wedding we attending in Durham. Lunch, dinner, and dessert items catered by BLR were delicious! There were ample options, good variety, and everything was presented well. Only thing missing were labels for the items. Most items are easily recognizable, but not all.

Oh my god! This place is amazing. From Dosa, Idli to Punjabi dishes , everything was amazing!! Place is clean and staff members are extremely nice and helpful. Plenty of parking available. We went on a Saturday night that it was busy! I ordered idli vaada sambar and my friends ordered palak paneer , naan and Afghani paneer! It was alll to delicious!!!

BLR is the airport code for Bengaluru. BLR rocks South Indian vegetarian fare. I tried out the tiffin platter, which consists of idli, vada, a mini masala dosa, some upma, and a generous helping of kesari for dessert. I must admit I was impressed with all the items. This combo is only available for weekday lunch, if I understand correctly. This is ironic, since it has the potential to induce a food coma which office goers in the area may not want. My wife ordered a rava dosa and asked for it without onions, which they were able to customize for her. She was happy with the rava dosa as well. I washed it all down with south Indian style filter kaapi, which was satisfying.

Yikes I had such high expectations for this place. I'm surprised no one's mentioned the incredibly small portion sizes. The service was average. They forgot to give me potato filling for my dosa and I asked for a spicy dosa but they forgot to put green chilis in it. The taste was okay, but I would much rather go to another South Indian vegetarian restaurant that's in the area and get more/better quality of food than here.

The best South Indian restaurant in this area. We have been here a couple of times but mostly we get a to go order. We pretty much loved everything we tried here. The rava dosa was really good and so was the idly vada combo. My favorite though is the Bisibele bath. We have ordered it do many times till now. Their pani puri was good but it was spicy. Their paneer sizzler was really flavorful and the paneer was very moist. If you haven't been here yet, please do visit. Don't go for the ambience but please go for the yummy food.

BLR is a fantastic restaurant! Incredible, authentic food with many options and large portions. Went with a large group that included meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and a kiddo - everyone heavily complimented the food and left very full. The service was fast and very kind, even though the restaurant was completely full. Will definitely return!

I first came to know about this restaurant through reviews in a local group. The name, menu, and concept really had my interest since I miss the south indian breakfast places in Mumbai and hadn't found one that meet expectations. I was surprised that this new spot exceeded our expectations. We decided to try it on the Friday before Memorial day weekend; the place was packed at 8 pm and we had to wait for 15 mins. The place is well spaced out with a casual feel. We ordered afghani paneer tikka, bonda soup, paneer lababdaar (recommended by staff), tandoori roti. All dishes had minimal oil which is a huge plus and something I truly appreciate when dining out. Afghani tikka: Paneer was soft and dish had the right flavors. Veggies were fresh and chutney flavorful. The marination could have been better but we liked it overall. Bonda Soup: Our fav dish of the night. Bonda had lots of pepper, coconut, and softness. However, the soup/daal took away the award for best flavors. Definitely ordering it again. Paneer lababdar: Less cream, balanced flavor, and generous portion. I loved that it is not your template paneer tikka Tandoori rotis were perfectly done and soft. Their quantities are great. Also this is a pure veg restaurant. I look forward to trying their breakfast menu and would surely be returning here! Thank you to their staff for excellent customer service especially the gentleman who served our table! Week2: Tried Mangalore bajji which was delicious and the green chutney took me back to India. Paneer butter masala was good. Highlight of the evening was their dessert called Coconut Garden. It is defines what wonders a perfect fusion dessert can work on your senses. Layers of coconut dry fruit base, pannacota, and cream topped with chocolate art and flowers!

Very good dosa. Usually the filling is inside dosa but maybe Bangalore style doesn't have it. Great quality and quantity. Tomato chutney could be improved.

Order Type: Takeout Ordering Method: Third-PartyPickup Overall Experience: Overall it was a pretty seamless experience. The food was ready at the pick up time and was still pretty hot when we got back home. What I Ordered: * Butter Chicken * Chicken 65 Food Quality:The food was fresh and flavorful and not at all greasy which I've experienced at other Indian takeout places. Accuracy:I really appreciated how they packed everything with care, everything we ordered was there and the portion sizes were great. We had enough for dinner again today. Value:On the app that we ordered from there was a buy one get one free option so plenty of food for the value. Notes / Things to Know: It's important to know that this is a South Indian restaurant, and regional Indian cuisines vary a lot. The spice profiles and flavor balance here will be different from what you might be used to at North Indian restaurants. Not better or worse , just different. The Chicken 65 was the standout -- delicious, great heat, curry leaves, and the exact spice level I was craving. The Butter Chicken was good, but just a heads-up: ithis dish tends to be sweeter, creamier, and more subtle in seasoning than the North Indian version many people expect. If that's your preference, you may find it milder here.

What begins as a neighborhood Indian restaurant unfolds, course by course, into something richer, a place where abundance is not excess, but hospitality. The tandoori mixed grill arrives with even greater authority than first impressions suggest, a composition as thoughtful as it is generous. Lamb chops emerge smoky and deeply spiced, their char lending both structure and intensity. The shrimp, delicately singed by the tandoor, bring a quieter elegance, their tenderness sharpened by fire. Paneer, too often treated elsewhere as secondary, is here a revelation--absorbing smoke and seasoning in a way that gives it surprising depth. And the chicken, vividly marinated and flame-kissed at the edges, carries the layered warmth and complexity that marks a kitchen attentive to balance. Taken together, the platter feels less like a sampler than a full expression of the restaurant's range, a study in texture, heat, and restraint. Then there is the lamb rogan josh, that old standard too often dulled by caution elsewhere. Here it carries depth and resonance, its sauce layered rather than merely hot, aromatic rather than blunt. The fish curry moves in another register altogether--brighter, looser, edged with the sort of acidity and spice that keeps drawing you back for one more spoonful. And the goat biryani--perhaps the house at its most persuasive--is a study in fragrance and restraint. The rice speaks. The spices do not crowd one another. The goat carries the slow-cooked tenderness that makes biryani feel less like a dish than an event. But what lingers is not only the food. It is the choreography around it: the cooling sweetness of a mango lassi against rising heat, the sweet-sharp intrigue of banana chutney, the sense that condiments here are not afterthoughts but part of the composition. The room matters too. There is care in the design, warmth in the lighting, and something deeply reassuring in a staff that seems to understand service not as performance, but as welcome. Many restaurants offer variety as a strategy. Triangle Biryani offers it as culture. That is a more meaningful thing. You leave not merely full, but expanded. And that, in the end, is what memorable restaurants do.

We were seated immediately and ordered drinks which were out promptly. Jaljeera, wine and the cocktail urban turban special. I loved my jaljeera, perfect sweet and tangy spicy flavour. For starters we ordered chicken chapli kabab, tandoori fish tikka and dahi ke kabab. Dahi kebab was the winner, it was crispy and soft and went perfectly well with its sweet gravy which was good twist to this simple appetizer. My second favorite was the chapli kabab, it was so soft and juicy and very light on spice. Their fish dishes were a little disappointing, I guess the fish and preparation both were not impressive. For main course we ordered their malabar fish curry which again was a disappointment, punjabi chicken curry which was pretty good, but the daal bukhara stole our hearts, very well prepared and flavourful dish. We couldn't stop ourselves from ordering some desserts, so we ordered their balu shahi with Rabri and gulab jamun with icecream. Rabri was great, but balushahi was big, seemed undercooked and bland. It's very difficult to mess up gulab jamun so that was good. The service was fast and the people were so friendly. We paid tip over the bill that already had gratuity included since we dint know, and the person came back with money and returned it saying the gratuity is included. We loved the honesty and warm gesture of the people working there. I am really looking forward to visiting this place again soon and trying their other dishes.
