Lunch Special General Tso's Chicken comes with egg roll, rice and a fortune cookie.
    Sam C.

For the cost and convenience this place certainly delivers. There is comfortable seating and a clean, larger than average restroom towards the rear. Whatever Muzak they are playing is not annoying either. If you have the time, I recommend eating in as the food comes out hot and fresh. You pay before sitting and it takes less time than most other take out places as this is primarily a take out place.

Veggie Singapore noodles and Bean Curd Home Style

The Chinese food just doesn't hit the spot. While it was impressive to see vegetarian Singapore noodles on the menu (very rare to find!), they were a miss - bland and greasy. The vermicelli noodles were dripping in sesame oil and sloppily coated in chili paste, overpowered by curry powder and lacking in spices. The Bean Curd Homestyle was a total miss, the veggies were swimming in this clear liquid sauce and made for terrible leftovers. The fried Bean Curd tofu was tough and hard to chew. The food had no flavor. Threw the food down the garbage disposal the next day (and I hate wasting food!). The fried rice was flavorless and didn't taste fresh. Hubby enjoyed General Tso's Chicken. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish?

I was waiting for my tires to get fixed at the next door Goodyear store so I went out to get some Chinese food here. I was greeted by the staff and seated quickly. I ordered the typical General Tso's chicken and it was served in 5 minutes! The serving size was really huge for one person that I had to take some home. It came with broccoli and rice. It was seasoned well and I would love to come back again. The place was a great place to relax for lunch and also after work. They have other typical Chinese-American food selections too.

I received an Uber Eats gift card and discovered that there were lots of new restaurants I've never tried because they weren't associated with DoorDash, and Wok N Roll was one of them. I'm a creature of habit so I said let me try my go to healthy Chinese food routine (Shrimp and Mixed Veg w/ egg drop soup) and see what Wok N Roll's version delivers. WELL! I was pleasantly surprised as the egg drop soup had a nice surprise of fresh corn kernels in it and the flavor overall was perfect, in addition to the Shrimp w Mixed Veg having a nice addition of Napa cabbage with lots of shrimp and delightfully mild flavor to the sauce. Even the crispy noodles they sent to go with the soup were different than the ones you typically get. I think I may have found a new favorite Chinese takeout spot! OH and the delivery was right on time as promised.

Get the orange chicken lunch special. I know, this pic is really helpful huh?
    Dan C.

Wow the orange chicken lunch special is good here. The chicken is cooked korean style (bonchon, kyochon, etc.), and the orange sauce is not overwhelmingly sweet and salty relatively compared to Panda Express. Really amazing and it's a sleeper on the menu. Don't overlook it as it is the go-to dish here, in my opinion. My wife always gets the pepper steak. And the shrimp egg rolls that come with this is perfect (for Sammy!) I've been to this location a few times while going with my wife to her doctor visits for pregnancy. Our little baby Sammy is letting Mommy know he likes it as well! Took a few visits, but this place has won me over. My wife loved it from day one. dmo out

This was our "go to" Chinese takeout place. We typically order the same food each time we go. I was highly disappointed in the fried wontons. I paid $13 for two orders of fried wrappers. It barely stuffing. I literally couldn't taste the pork or any sort of meat. You will see in the pictures what I found when I pulled the wonton apart. What I saw or tasted couldn't be possibly be called stuffing. This was one of our favorite appetizers and have ordered it on numerous occasions. Though the rest of the food (general Tso, triple delight and beef broccoli) we ordered tonight was to its normal quality I couldn't help but feel cheated. It's not the type of business practice I expect from a restaurant that we and the community supported throughout this pandemic. I hope this was a fluke and that I was the only one with skimpy wontons. I honestly don't know if we'll be go back.

There is plenty of seating that is spacious and well setup, tables are not squished together where you feel as though you have no space to eat. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with many other retailers, so parking is a non issue. I always appreciate good food that is easily accessible without struggling to find parking while out and about with two young kids. We ordered various items from the menu: - Chicken Leg Noodle Soup - My kids loved this. The soup is flavorful and portions are large so perfect to split among two kids. - Pork Soup Dumplings - Solid option, soup broth inside the dumplings was delicious. - Scallion Pancakes - Deliciously fried to perfection. It comes cut into slices, making it easily shareable for the table. - Cucumber with Garlic - Simple dish, but the garlic sauce really makes it memorable. The staff here were great, they were extra mindful of dish placement near my young kids which I really appreciated. All items came out quickly and just as requested. I have visited other locations throughout the DMV and this location was consistent with what I experienced at other locations... friendly staff and delicious food all at a reasonable price. For a self-proclaimed Chinese food snob, that kind of consistency across locations isn't just appreciated -- it's rare. This is the place I bring family and friends visiting from out of town when I need to guarantee both quality and a good time. No hesitation, no asterisks. That's a short list. The menu hits two lanes perfectly: bold, soul-warming noodle soups and dry noodles loaded with zesty mix-ins that slap just as hard. The flounder with sour pickled cabbage noodle soup is the move if you want something that's simultaneously bright, funky, and deeply comforting. The spicy beef brisket in golden soup is pure richness -- the kind of broth you'd drink straight if no one was watching. On the dry noodle side, the Chongqing dry noodles bring the heat and the complexity you want from that style. Don't sleep on the small eats. The scallion pancakes and soup dumplings are legitimately all-star -- not afterthoughts, not filler. One pro tip: pay attention to the rotating specials once you've locked in your favorites. And you will have favorites. Probably after visit one. Casual setting, family-friendly vibe, top-tier food. Yu Noodle earns a permanent spot on the short list.

They are transparent about what foods are gluten free, and the staff there are happy to go over those things with you and answer what questions you may have if you have certain allergies. Our favorite things to order here are the lazi chicken, and egg plant dish. We also enjoy the cauliflower. Their food comes with a personal size bowl of rice that is complimentary and does not cost extra. If you order to go, their food is done very quick, and a big majority of their orders are to go. Was feeling hangry because I had planned on stopping at Hard Times for a bowl of chili -and found out they were closed on Mondays. So, pretty much pulled a name out of a hat and would up at Chuan Tian Xia because, well, Szechuan cooking uses chiles, no? Yesssss! I ordered Signature Dumplings and a bowl of Beijing-style Beijing-style Zhajiang Noodles. The dumplings were outstanding: a mix of shrimp, pork, and chive that were plump, juicy, fragrant with the herbaceous flavor of chives. The accompanying sauce was not too sweet, not too hot, just right as a complement to the dumplings. Yowza. I was a happy camper... ...and then I dug into my noodles. Double yowza! Thick wheat noodles topped with a rich sauce made from (I think) fermented soybean paste and braised pork belly, garnished with cucumbers. The portion was way to big for me to eat after my flight, but I really, really enjoyed it (and the remaining dumplings) for lunch today. Did I say yowza? I'm an adventurous eater so the menu's less Americanized items were what I would have ordered given more time (like Maoxuewang: can you say "pig's tongue, spam, pork intestine, and beef tripe"? Protein is protein, baby!). Just means I need to come back, and I will, as quickly as I can.

The challenge of the menu is its size: it includes old school standards that your father may have ordered, yet has some much more interesting and tongue-tingling szechuan options also. So it behooves the diner to take time to read through thr long menu carefully and to order selectively. Service is efficient and special requests are handled with grace, rather than the eye rolling of their peers. We first ordered crispy beef, which wws well executed with the beef shreds still juicy despite their crackle coating. The sauce had a mild bit of chili heat and subtle sweetness, and was generously salted with a medley of julienned veggies. Our second dish was General Tao Chicken, which is more commonly known as General Tso. It was again, a very well executed version of what has become a popular classic, with perfectly coated and fried nuggets of tender chicken breastfeeding in a sweet and spicy sauce served with broccoli and chili peppers. Sichuan Pavilion is very snug, amd something of a "rabbit warren" with a series of rooms connected by tight pathways. Tables can be small, so try to book in advance. Also, some of the best dishes are the more traditional szechuan style, do take the time to ask your server about them and be prepared for some heat.
