I have really mixed feelings about this spot. Parking is valet, but you can pay via online tools & it's simple. The atmosphere is nice, but tables are quite close together/packed in. Service was fantastic. Wine and cocktails/mocktails list is solid. The food is not bad, but also doesn't excite me. My pork dish had so many ingredients, and I simply prefer simpler dishes. The corn fritters are not like a bread option, and I sort of wanted bread. I think southern food & I want simple dishes, and these are just a bit complex. That's fully just a personal taste preference, though!

One of the best experiences I've ever had. Valentines Day reservations were made. Valet parking was available and we were able to head on in. Once we got there we had to wait a little bit for our table so we (I) had a drink at the bar. It was delicious! Not too strong but enough to get you feeling good. We sat toward the back of the restaurant and it was very cozy even though the restaurant was packed. We started with an order of corn and green chili fritters with the bee pollen honey butter. These were so good and I truly contemplated ordering more. We also had the calamari. This was so delicious and the presentation was so colorful and fun! For entrées I ordered the grilled pork tenderloin w/ sweet potato puree, apple walnut relish, and crisp onions. My husband ordered the iron skillet half fried chicken. Since he doesn't eat pork he swapped the collards out for sweet potato puree and kept the corn pudding and mushrooms. We also ordered a side of Wisteria mac and cheese to share. This was such a good meal! Everything was fresh! My water never was empty. My wine kept coming and it was the perfect way to start the night!

I went here last Saturday with my husband and a couple friends for my birthday. I've always wanted to try this place and the menu looked great. Well, Wisteria did not disappoint! I love the fact that they had a spirit free cocktail list because I don't drink and I always feel so left out when my friends are drinking and having fun. We ordered the onion cheese fritters for an appetizer and they were so delicious and savory. For dinner, I ordered the pan-fried chicken with stewed mushroom collards and cornbread---everything was fantastic! I couldn't even finish my dinner. We skipped dessert and I got a second glass of AF Rosé and my friends ordered another bottle of wine. I left full, happy, and look forward to going back. Markie was our server and she did a wonderful job describing the menu and making recommendations. She frequently checked on us but wasn't overbearing (which is what I like). The ambiance was perfect---relaxed but busy with gorgeous artwork on the wall in a rustic chick setting. I look forward to going back there with my husband.

I used to love this place before COVID. My repeat visit this time was underwhelming. The good- desserts are excellent especially the banana pudding and flourless chocolate torte. Great cocktail and wine selection. The underwhelming - I ordered scallops and it was unfortunate over salted. Food is mediocre and nothing exception to write abt the presentation or taste. I hope they were having an off day and this was an outlier

All the boxes checked at Wisteria. Great service, great food, great ambience. Some of the best shrimp I've ever had. It was fresh, buttery, and perfectly cooked. In my opinion, shrimp is a deceptively difficult thing to prepare. But this rendition was absolutely perfect. The grits were creamy, and really tasted of corn. So often grits are bland or just taste of a bunch of cheese mixed in. But this dish was thoughtful and really complimented the shrimp. I've never tried a grilled Caesar salad, but I am a convert. They didn't grill it too much, just enough to add some smoky flavor to the lettuce. The thinly sliced radish was a nice element of spiciness, and the creaminess of the dressing tied everything together. Perfection. We had a fun and engaging server who provided quick service all evening. Highly recommend this spot!

This was a hidden gem in a charming neighborhood. Our server was a great guy! He had a sunny disposition, really helpful, gave great recommendations and made the experience nice. The food was impeccable and unique. Amazing wine selection.

Pretty little restaurant in Inman Park. Parking is no problem because they have free valet service (but please tip!). The old brick walls, spacious seating, and modern decor with white tablecloths and butcher paper are inviting. Service was prompt and friendly. And the herb crusted grouper with grits and asparagus was one of the best things I've eaten in quite a while. We're looking forward to going again!

    grilled pork tenderloin

Our visit to Wisteria left much to be desired. When we entered the restaurant for dinner, there were several empty tables. We ordered the watermelon salad as an appetizer with the grilled pork tenderloin and pan fried pecan crusted trout as the entrees. We also had two mocktails, which I don't see on their menu online. Our one comment on the mocktails was that they tasted as if they were missing something - alcohol. They tasted as if they needed the alcohol to be delicious, which defeats the purpose of a mocktail. I thought that my drink in particular was too sour and not very pleasant. The waiter was very kind. Mark took good care of us and gave solid recommendations. The pork tenderloin was something that was recommended and that was delicious. The pecan crusted trout wasn't recommended, but I was curious to try it. I mention the recommendations because it seemed like Wisteria is good at specific things on the menu, while there are other items that fall flat. The trout was a big disappointment. The pecans didn't really make a difference on the fish and you couldn't really taste it. The fish only really had flavor when paired with the sauce, which was on the sour side when eaten on its own. We would be willing to come back if some friends invited us to try Wisteria, but we would not be willing to experiment with their menu. The watermelon salad was tasty and refreshing, but wasn't anything spectacular or original. It was a refreshing appetizer to whet your appetite on a hot day. Overall, Wisteria definitely seems to be more bar focused than restaurant. I would recommend coming if you mainly want somewhere to chat with friends over drinks with food on the side. Personally, it will not be my choice to return.

Curtis was a great waiter, and the food was marvelous. Hubby said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had and I thought the shrimp and grits were the best I've ever had.

It came with a cornbread, a buttery biscuit, and banana pudding. I was pleasantly surprised by the other items since the ordering site only listed the entree. Best Shrimp & Grits I've had to date. The shrimp was fresh and not overcooked or rubbery. The grits were smooth. The gravy was well seasoned, but not overly salty or rich. The cornbread and bread or biscuit was good, but not extraordinary. Those were quite dense and heavy paired with the other food. I loved the banana pudding. This meal jumpstarted my banana pudding hyper fixation. Very fragrant and not too thick yet still nice and creamy. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy either. It was a good dessert to round out the meal. I hope to come here again and have an actual sit down experience. Curious to see the ambiance!

I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing. The hot sauce was a nice pairing but some spice in the breading/meat would have taken it over the top but this chicken was delicious. No notes.

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

That said, the space made it feel manageable. It has a charming farmhouse-style aesthetic, and the seating is arranged in a way that keeps it from feeling overcrowded or chaotic. Once we were seated, we were greeted by a warm and attentive server who immediately made us feel taken care of. She offered water, gave us time to settle in, and was knowledgeable when answering questions about the menu--always a plus. As we sipped our drinks and eased into the morning, time seemed to pass effortlessly. Our food arrived without us even realizing how long we'd been waiting, which is always a good sign. Everyone in my party genuinely enjoyed their meals. My eggs were cooked exactly how I like them--soft scrambled, which is harder to get right than it should be, so that alone earned points. I also had the chance to taste a few other dishes at the table. The grit bowl was standout-level good--so much so that my friend cleaned the bowl completely. The pimento grits with the biscuit paired perfectly with the berry jam, which added just the right touch of sweetness. I also loved the potato fritters--they're like hash browns, but the fritter style gives you a completely different experience from your typical breakfast side. Crispy, satisfying, and definitely worth ordering. As for my French toast--it was perfectly done and incredibly satisfying. A sweet, comforting finish to a great dining experience. Overall, between the atmosphere, service, and quality of the food, this place definitely delivered. I'd gladly wait again.

This joint is located in the lower hub, but I believe there's also an outside street entrance. Upon entering, we were told to sit anywhere. The interior is rather dim, and it wasn't super clean as there were still some crumbs on our table from the last people who dined there. There is also a very casual feel to the place, exemplified by the fact that food is served on styrofoam plates and paper trays. FOOD: 2-Piece Dark (Thigh & Leg) (4/5) - Chicken was nice and crispy, but nothing crazy special to me. I was expecting it to be spicier. Liked it more with the Louisiana hot sauce on the table. The chicken rests on a slab of white bread and is served with average slaw and sweet baked beans. Fried Okra (3.5/5) - First time having fried okra. Not bad, and I guess frying it eliminates the slimy texture associated with okra. SERVICE: I am not usually one to complain about service. My brother and I literally only ordered one plate/portion to share since we wanted to try more places, but it took over half an hour to receive our food. They do emphasize that food is cooked to order, but I still found the wait to be baffling. TLDR// Come here or don't, but if you do, make sure you are not on a time crunch.
