I am the Victim of a Wild Hair Project my Wife threw me at full speed this last week…read more We began with swapping the bathtubs for shower basins, compete with tiled walls, magnetic shower-head and glass doors. We also added in new cabinets. Cabinets To Go was recommended by a friend that has several rental properties and uses them exclusively. Ida welcomed us, sat us down and listened to what we were envisioning. The showroom had a modern style of quality cabinets in colors we had a hard time deciding upon. Annapolis Blue and A slate gray were our choices for both baths. Turn around on ordering the cabinets and receiving them was under two weeks and installation took about a day. Bennie, Seth and John were smooth, competent and a heck of a lot quieter than I thought they would be. They even packed out the cardboard the cabinets were shipped on. These cabinets look great. Word of caution. The faces of the drawers and doors are not drilled out and are not ready for pulls and handles. I am doing this task myself, but Bennie does offer that service at a separate fee per drill hole. Fit and finish are right up there with custom on-site manufacture cabinet shops at a reasonable price. I am going to use them when I get ready to update my kitchen. Ciao, Darrell

WARNING My countertop purchase was horrible....I checked…read morethe box to view slab before fabrication and they failed to call me. They cut it then called me and told me it was ready. When I told them I had checked the box to see the slab first and even had the sales person make a notation in the computer, they more or less said too bad. I then asked them to send pictures of the cut slab. When they did, It had a large gray vain running through it and it looked nothing like the picture of the slab that I ordered from. The picture I ordered from was cream colored with light soft gold veining. I had multiple conversations with Sherry Pennier and she was not the nicest person to deal with. She told me that I would have to buy another slab and have it redone. When I asked her for the number of her supervisor she refused to give it to me. After arguing she finally said she would have the next person up give me a call. Sean Demory was no better. When I asked him for the next person up he said he was it. He refused to give me an email or number of anyone else I could talk to. When I asked him what happened to customers were always right he said no they were not. So now we are taking a road trip to the Corporate Office Lawrenceburg Tennessee since I can't get any help here in Texas....If you would like to see pictures you can check it out on my Facebook page Susan Manchester Bell. He explained what would be required to fix AND also offered suggestions on work that he would recommend but didn't have to be done. We got our estimate from him quickly and he followed up with phone calls to explain that he would be late with the written estimate (he wasn't really that late with it, a few hours). If we continue with buying the home he helped us with, we'll definitely go with Ram Jack. The method of foundation repair they use seems superior to other companies that we've spoken to. We look forward to doing business with Ram Jack.

Technology seems great, but the Ram Jack service and quality are very poor. They came to my…read moreresidential property to do a job, and left without finishing the last pier. They said they couldn't access the last pier due to an electrical conduit being nearby, despite saying previously it wouldn't be a problem. They also left without having adjusted their brackets to actually be in contact with my house foundation. So essentially they charged a lot of money to drill a hole in the ground and leave. My GC asked them to return to check and they supposedly did, and said everything was good. When we checked again we confirmed that in fact the brackets were still not in contact with my foundation. I have tried calling 4 times now to talk to someone at Ram Jack and every time I call they are "busy and will call me back", which has not happened. I would not use this company again in the future. I'm not sure if I am just 'small fish' as a residential job, but the service is very poor.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH WALLBEDS N MORE…read more My experience with the West Houston location of Wallbeds N More has been terrible. My husband wrote a short review with a similar message but I want to add details of my experience. In June I ordered and paid in full for a wallbed. I was given a verbal commitment that the wallbed would be delivered in August. In August, and September, and October I called customer service multiple times and was told the bed would be ready in "2-3 weeks" by a very nice customer service representative. When I called at the end of October I was told there were problems with the manufacturer and it could be much longer and I was offered a refund that I would receive in the next week. It is now almost mid December and I still have no refund and no wallbed. After my call yesterday my husband wrote the negative review. First thing this morning I received a phone call from Wallbeds saying that when my husband removed the review I would receive the refund. Now this not only seems like theft, it also seems like extortion.
