As good as the other locations!! Staff are super friendly and service is quick. This location is a bit small (5-6 tables) so definitely good for take-out. You can get by slice or whole pies. Update: I decided to give Wiseguys another chance as my wife wanted to try it. The experience was absolutely horrible. We ordered pepperoni pizza online and went to pick it up. After arriving, they had lost the order but offered my wife a cheese pizza that had been sitting out. She declined and asked for the pizza we ordered. Instead of making it, they took the cheese pizza behind the counter and pretended to make a new pizza, but instead just put uncooked pepperoni on the old cheese pizza and gave it to her. She asked if they had just made it, and they said yes. When she got home, we confirmed the stale pizza was topped with raw pepperoni which immediately fell off when it was picked up. The pizza was ice cold after the 7 minute drive home. Original Review: I was excited to try this place after hearing lots of good things. I ordered online and added the thick pepperoni cups as an extra topping. When I got home I realized these were never added to the pizza. Since this topping was an extra $6.50, I called to ask for a refund or credit for that amount. The person answering the phone could not understand my request, so kept repeatedly hanging up on me. When I finally got through to the manager after 6 calls, he told me he knew this was an issue and the topping wasn't actually available at this location. None of this was ever communicated when I picked up the pie. He told me he couldn't "get into the system" to credit me, and just said "sorry, I've got customers here" and hung up. Very middle of the road pizza experience. I tried two slices and a stromboli . The Stromboli was mostly bread with very little filling, and the marinara sauce they gave on the side was extremely cold making it a pretty unpleasant experience overall. The slices were decent. Buffalo chicken had plenty of flavor from the buffalo and ranch sauces. The classic pep was what it was. I've been to a lot of slice shops and I felt like both slices were on the small side. Their method of reheating the pies was to put them on a conveyer belt toaster rather than put them back in the oven. Order didn't turn out very warm to begin with and was room temp by the time I got to my last item. Overall not a place where you feel like you're getting value for your money. read more

Being from New Jersey, I think the Wiseguys on Mass Ave is the closest I get to pizza back home, plus their house-made ranch is the perfect amount of spicy and delicious. I was thrilled to hear about a Wiseguy's opening near where I currently live in Herndon. I think they must be going through growing pains. The pizza was still good, good dough, good sauce, except they did not include the spicy aged pepperoni topping I paid extra for. The garlic knots were similar, good dough, less garlic than other locations, but overall not bad. I was extremely disappointed by the ranch, both in portion and "house made." I paid almost a dollar a piece for 5 extra ranches, and what I received was the attached pictures, which was absolutely not the ranch I have gotten from Wiseguys in the past, filled with red pepper flakes. I will try again in a few months, since the pizza is decent, but I was definitely disappointed with my first visit. read more

I got the thick crust pizza slice. When I asked if I could have an add on the guy said well we aren't supposed to do that, I have never heard of a pizza place that wouldn't add something for an extra charge. He did add what I asked for but only 4 mushrooms. If you go there ask them to put the pizza through the heater twice, mine was cold and the cheese wasn't melted at all. If I go back I will be trying the thin crust. But may not at $5.99 a slice and I can't get what I want on it. read more

I feel compelled to review this restaurant because the pizza was just so bad. After faithfully patronizing the Rosslyn location, I used to think Wiseguys was the best pizza in the DC area. Now I know that it varies drastically by location. Two weeks ago, I ordered two pizzas: pepperoni and supreme. Toppings were fine, but the pizzas were so undercooked, they were soggy in the middle. I hoped it was just a bad night and so I ordered two more pizzas: pepperoni and a Sicilian pepperoni. The Sicilian pepperoni is supposed to be like a Detroit style pizza, with a thick crunchy crust. What I got must've been a prebaked crust that was as thin as my hand tossed pizza. It was so tough I could barely chew it. When I entered the restaurant, there were a couple of pans sitting on the counter (facing customers). One was empty except for a piece of broccolini (?), and the other had two burnt, broken cookies. When I say burnt, I'm not exaggerating. They looked like charcoal briquettes. Was this what they were selling to customers? Even if not, why would you place that in the display area? Service behind the counter was friendly, but that can't overcome the poor food quality and apparent lack of management here. read more

The guy at the store first said he needed to charge extra (even though drink comes with the combo). After explaining the situation three times, he understood what I was saying. We showed up right at pickup time and watched our pizzas get cold for 30 minutes while they said they were still making the garlic knots. One of our pizzas was both burnt and cold. i was so excited to hear that Wiseguy was opening up close to me since i love their DC location. however, i'm so sad ): the quality of the pizza is such a down grade. the crust isn't crispy and the toppings are skimpy for a $28 specialty pizza. ~maybe~ 3 little chunks of chicken on 1 piece of chicken parmesan pizza. my favorite part about wiseguy was their garlic knots but these were horrible! dry, not even a knot like the picture and other location has: just a round roll with dried parsley and garlic salt. hopefully it gets better with time but yikes read more

Cannot find myself coming back after encountering such a rude experience my first visit. You can tell both the store manger and the shift manger had a nasty attitude. They both weren't too fond of the many questions I had for the new restaurant i haven't been too before. I had commentary about the high prices and they weren't fond of that either. I wanted to purchase a combo meal, but the store was currently out of canned soda, other than Diet Coke. I complained and the store manager asked "what do you want?" I asked if I could have the bottle of sprite with my combo meal, he agreed. The Latina lady, who I assume is the shift manger. Took it upon herself to not comply with meeting the substitution. She did not want to give me chips with my combo, and said it was because I received a bottled soda instead of a canned soda, as why I was not receiving chips with the combo. As why that was not communicated at first at all before the transaction done I do not know, but it's just highly unprofessional and A unsatisfying experience. And that lady is really stingy. If she's stingy about some $1 chips, imagine what else she's stingy with. read more

As a native New Yorker, I am delighted to report that this slice is the closest to a real slice of pie that I have had in Virginia since moving here 12 years ago. The cheese was gooey and flavorful, the sauce was just the right sweet with full tomato taste and there was the right amount, and the crust was thin and chewy on the bottom and crusty and fluffy at the end.
