We went to Wingstop in Berwick. I've read bad reviews and I don't know why. Our food was really good. We will go back.

These are a must try if you like wings. Chicken and pancake tacos were delicious. Pancakes had a touch of sweetness. Fried chicken inside with a spicy mayo. Topped with a strawberry salsa that worked well. 3 of these were very filling. Fun and very good. Son had the double wide footlong. Topped with sloppy Joe. After that the 2 sides were different. One had fried banana peppers. The other side more classic with toppings. Son said it was really good. Others had the ahi tuna salad. Tuna was perfectly rare. Salad was good and the wasabi dressing had great flavor without being too spicy. Service was quick even though jam packed. Also very friendly.

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

If you're looking for wings in Savannah, 520 Wings has to be on your list…read more What stood out most for me was their Buffalo hot wings -- perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in just the right amount of sauce. The flavor actually shines through instead of being all about the heat, which for me makes them a winner. They also surprised us with some specialty flavors (the Garlic Pepper Ranch was a standout) that hit just as hard as the classics. It's not easy to balance bold flavors without overpowering the wing itself, but 520 pulled it off. The place has that local Savannah vibe, the staff is friendly (big thanks to Gary for taking care of us), and it feels like the kind of spot where you can bring friends, order a few baskets, and just enjoy yourself. Bottom line: whether you're a wing purist or you like trying unique flavors, 520 Wings delivers. Definitely a spot I'd recommend and will be coming back to. Check out the video we did about it: https://youtu.be/hbKDYU1tT0w?si=BpvnKul0pJ78PV9O

They're not like some places where the lemon is so acidic it leaves your lips and tongue raw. These have a good balance of lemon zest and pepper but still have a strong flavor. Service was excellent- everyone here is so friendly!…read more Good selection of beers and lots of delicious sounding food options. They had lots of healthier options on the menu, as well as your classic southern comforts so it was a great balance! Would absolutely come back again! They also keep the air conditioner cranked so it was super nice inside even on a muggy GA day.

It's a dark, cool vibe. It's definitely a popular place with tourist, but I'm telling you it's a must! My favorite starter is the fried lionsmane breaded & fried mushrooms (coated in citrus soy, sweet chil, scallions, & sesame seed) - YUM! Not a mushroom person? I swear you won't even know you're eating on - they're that good! For a main meal you have to get the chicken & waffle gyro!! It's fried chicken, herb mascarpone cream, honey poblano drizzle, waffle gyro, maple bourbon syrup & grits. I get the syrup on the side. Upgrade the grits to loaded, you won't regret it! This dish will seriously leave you thinking about it days later! Okay so here's the kicker with TOP... they have an 'Ordinary Intermission' from like 4-6 (I think longer on weekends) where they don't serve their full menu. It's a super limited menu with neither of my favorite items! It's also not a happy hour where the menu items are cheaper, just limited. I've popped in serval times during that time frame to grab an early dinner and ended up leaving. Sad times But again - this is a must for any foodie!

I can't believe I've been to Forsyth Park dozens of times and never even knew this place was here!…read moreFun 1940s ambience and fantastic food! Service was super easy and fast. We will definitely be coming here again, loved the food! We had the small size onion rings, I can't remember what they call it, but definitely a small serving. The sandwiches were big though. I had the beef brisket sandwich with country gravy and I cannot rave over it enough! A very substantial sandwich, I couldn't finish mine. He had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, also wonderful. Upon entry, there was a bar and it was very crowded and a little loud. But everyone was super friendly (and respectful) and seemed to be having an awesome time. (Might have stopped in if the entire family hadn't been with me!) A short walk down the hall was Betty Bombers...all real American food. The artwork was awesome, especially since both of my grandfathers were in WWII, and some of it looked familiar. The table ordered everything from salads, to a HUMUNGOUS hotdog for the kid (he originally wanted two and the waitress told him to start with one LOL), cheeseburgers, a pastrami sandwich, and a ration size portion of steak and cheese fries for me. I really liked how they offered smaller portions for a lot of their items, especially since we had a huge lunch. Everyone's food came out but mine. When I pointed it out to the waiter (who didn't take our order), he went to check and said it was his mistake and he would bring it out shortly. It took less than five minutes to come out and he offered me a milkshake for the wait. I had already had Leopold's that day but my cousin hadn't so he got a Mint Chocolate Chip milkshake. He really liked it. All of the food was good. I wanted to point out that my steak and cheese fries said ribeye and queso in the description. Yes, that was probably ribeye (it was tender and delicious) and while it was technically queso, Cheez whiz would have been a more apt description. That's ok, because it was good. Overall, a wonderful experience. I really liked how the waiter took accountability and fixed it. Very much appreciated. I would 100% return.

We stopped by on a Wednesday evening around 6:30 PM for dinner. We originally wanted to dine in,…read morebut the staff told us that the dining room was already closed and that we could order takeout instead. One thing that could be improved is the posted dining room hours. The restaurant posted that they close at 7:30 PM, so we were surprised that we weren't able to dine in when we arrived at 6:30 PM. It would be helpful if they could clearly indicate the hours for the dining room separately from the overall closing time so customers know what to expect. We decided to give it a try and ordered the fried chicken, mac & cheese, green beans, potato logs, New Orleans rice, and the original cornbread. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, but the fried chicken and cornbread really stood out. The cornbread was so buttery and delicious! We both love fried chicken and have tried so many different versions, but the fried chicken here is honestly the best we've ever had. It was perfectly seasoned, not just the skin, but the chicken itself was flavorful all the way through. If you love fried chicken, this place is definitely a must try! Just don't come here too hungry because the food can take quite a while to come out. We waited almost an hour for our takeout order. It was definitely worth the wait!
