My hubs has been wanting to try Wingstop for awhile. He was surprised to learn that there is one located not too far from us. We decided to have some chicken wings after church. We ordered the 35 piece meal. We had the atomic chicken, teriyaki and original flavor. My husband also ordered some veggies, season fries and beans. - The atomic chicken had some kick to it. My husband liked it better than Smoke Eater's because he was able to eat it and actually enjoy the flavor. - Teriyaki was too sweet and didn't taste like teriyaki. - The original flavor wings was OK. - Season fries, veggies and beans were good. Overall the food was OK. My husband enjoyed it more than I did. I'm not a fan... I can eat spicy but for some reason Wingstop made me sick ALL day. If I could give this place 0 stars I would!!! Food and service, BOTH TERRIBLE!!! I've been to many different Wingstops before but will probably not go back and definitely not to this one. We ordered online and the set up was a bit frustrating. You cannot add comments or promotions like other Yelp members mentioned. We also tried to call and the line was busy forever (which I do not understand because when we went to pick up there it was late and there was like no one there...) so we had to bring our coupon to show at the time at pickup. When we showed up, everyone working there just looked like they hated their job and that they wanted to go home. Bitchy face and attitude. The cashier said they couldn't even find our online order and acted like we did something wrong, we ended up just showing the ID with the name matching the order and she found it. We asked if she could take this free fries with a purchase of wings coupon. She said we couldn't redeem it because it wasn't PRINTED OUT...we asked for the manager and he said no immediately. Told us he already let it slide with a previous customer so he couldn't let us do it. Made no sense because there is no barcode and his explanation was that if it's not printed we can use it more than once. What's funny is that even if I printed the coupon I can make multiples of it. What a joke. We asked if he could make an exception because he did for someone else and we called to even ask but no one picked up. Wasn't even worth the fight for some crap fries anyways. They did decide to put our whole order in one box and didn't ask if we wanted sauce or anything else with our order. It's nice having soggy wax paper and three different sauces from 20 traditional wings mix, NOT! The wings were tiny and DRENCHED in sauce. It's a big shame their night staff manager (I didn't catch his name but he has a stud piercing under his eye on his cheek) is a prick and for some reason can make exceptions for some customers and not others. I am recanting my review....this place has gone downhill. Had people over for the football game so I ordered at 11am for a pickup of 4:30pm. Went to pick up the order and it was ready and sitting on the cart. The employee went to give me the order and I asked is that order warm? Apparently Not.... They made the order of 11 o'clock and it had been sitting there all day. I understand that there might be a mistake and she offered to remake the order fresh. She asked if I could wait 15 to 20 minutes and I agreed to do so. This is where it falls apart. After 5 minutes she hands me my order and says these are fresh sorry. The manager was the re e and also stated they were fresh and apologized. I take them home and when I get the wings out they are not fresh but re-fried. Dry as a bone and the seasoning was burned to the wing. I call the restaurant and talked to the girl that said the wings were fresh and she had nothing to say. I asked why she lied and I got no response. I asked for a refund and she said I had to contact the district manager on Monday morning. Monday I call and the same girl answers. I ask for the manager and she refuses to put her on the phone. She finally put the manager on from Sunday night (who also had lied) and he assured me the refund would be processed that day. He also had no answer for why he lied to me. He asked if there was anything he could do to make up for it. I said, yes....replace the wings for my friends for lying, for making me drive all the way for no dinner. He refused. When the refund hadn't processed through my bank I called again. The employee that answered checked and assured me it had gone through. When I said I checked with the bank and that it had not she called me a liar. This was the final straw, as I had already spent too much time on this I decided to contact corporate since this had escalated too far locally. Corporate couldn't be bothered to contact me....instead sent me a $10 gift card that won't even get you 2 wings and a drink much less feed 6 people as an apology. WORST COMPANY EVER AND WORSE RESTAURANT. Go to a different location and avoid this one. read more

Usually I don't get down on restaurants when I get an upset stomach, because I usually don't have a firm basis on that I obtained it there, specifically. However, both my boy and I hadn't eaten since lunch, and at about 9/10 PM, we ordered here. Not only was it slow, the fries and atomic sauce were so distasteful that they ruined our appetite. The guy that took my order forgot to give me my change ahh come on buddy :( I am guessing he is new to the work force. This Wingstop is located next Panda Express, Noah's Bagels, and Starbucks. There's little to no parking during the evenings since a lot of people line up to eat at Panda Express. So while they're doing that, I and a few other people stroll on in to Wing Stop. My family and I can never get tired of their wings, so having their family pack from 30 pieces to 75 pieces is a deal. My favorite is their mango habañero and their garlic parmesan. My wings come out hot every time and every bite is full of flavor. They also offer ranch, honey mustard, and ketchup. Their service is a hit or miss. Some days I'll get the awesome dude that'll pack my stuff nicely and say, "have a good night" or I'll get the lady that says, "what do you want to order" as if I'm burden for even stopping by. There are many problems I encountered like the humid hot air inside the restaurant, okay customer service, and the fact I was told that it would take 15 minutes for boneless and 40 minutes for bone-in! The taste is pretty consistent with the ones on coleman and near costco fremont and was very satisfying. We tried 10 piece with 2 flavors for $7 bucks, the actual order would give you half a dozen each, a baker's dozen favor. We ordered regular hot and hawaiian flavors, both not bad. If you want to try more flavors with a small party, I recommend repeat the 10 piece order instead of going into bigger portions such as 50 or 75 wings with 4 flavors with a price of $30 or $46 bucks. Hawaiian seemed to be too sweet without much of the pineapple flavor but the regular hot got it right! The wings also came in a mix of wings and drumsticks, first fried, and then mixed in with the sauces. If you prefer a total soft texture of meat, this is not the place to come in. read more

Surprised I've been here a million times and I still haven't written a review. The food is pretty decent and consistent. The fries are great, but get cold and soggy by the time you finish your meal. I usually get the boneless pieces (and they usually give you 1-3 more than you order :]). I usually stick with Garlic Parm and Lemon Pepper. Reason why it loses stars is because the food can take a while to come up, sometimes even up to 20 minutes or more. I just went today and all the lights turned off 3 times while I was there. This location is one of the first location I have been to and I do like it here! It's located in the heart (somewhat) of Milpitas. It's the only one in Milpitas, so you can't miss it! The place itself is a little small, but it's enough considering that most people do order for take-out. For me, I usually get the Louisiana Rub, Garlic Parmesan, or Mango Habanero if they still offer that. It's been a while since I've ate here, but I always have a good time here. Service is good and the staff is friendly. The food is always ready at the time they've given me (which is usually 15 to 18 minutes). I will definitely be coming back. But I also read that about the cockroach incident someone had in this location. Hopefully, they sorted everything out by now.
