Me and my family went in for lunch at approximately 1:00 and ordered by 1:15 and sat in the dining room for over a hour. We were the only ones there. The drive through was empty mostly maybe one or two people every 10 minutes. The food was delicious but I think just because we were starving. All the workers looked like they weren't doing anything. Zero stars if I could. Went here yesterday, 11/28/22 for some wings to take home. I ordered half Lemon Pepper and half Garlic Parmesan. I ask for the 8 pc, just a la carte, no other side dishes. There was not another customer in the place and no cars in the drive-thru but it still took the "cook" several minutes to even start my order since he seemed to have other priorities. I finally got my order and left for home. They smelled good so I opened the bag to try one. First of all, there was a big order of fries in the bag....cold fries...too salty fries...which I specifically did not order. One of the worse wings I've ever had. So small they looked like a game hen wing...yes, I'm exaggerating a little, but not much. They were over cooked, dry, and WAAAY too salty. Just be prepared to WAIT! Every. Time. I. Come. Here. This time I even called ahead because it was a Friday night and expected it to be busy. Called at 6:08pm for a basic 10 piece bone-in combo. I arrived at the store at about 6:20 and paid. They said about 5 more minutes on my order. I usually wait about 15 minutes when I don't call ahead (which is ridiculous to begin with) but I tried to save myself the frustration tonight. So at 6:47pm they called my name. Yes, that's right, 40 minutes to fry chicken wings. What's even more frustrating is that the guy who paid right before me (didn't call ahead) got his about 5 minutes before me. There are a couple of saving graces that make me come back: first, the wings are very good. I am not a fan of slimy wet wings so I always get the Louisiana rub which is a nice, spicy Cajun dry rub. If you ask them to make them "crispy", they will actually cook them extra as well. Love it. Second, even though you've waited for 15 minutes or more, at least when they serve them they are clearly right out of the fryer. Molten lava hot. Again, so at least you've waited for SOME reason: freshness. Tonight, though, it was clear that someone just forgot about me because the wings were not molten-lava-hot. And not to forget the dipping sauce. I get the bleu cheese dressing and it is wonderful. My wife is a "connoisseur" of ranch dressing and she loves theirs as well. Basically, if they weren't so good and usually so freshly fried, I would've given it ONE star for the service. Repeatedly. Okay, and even if you've read this and decided to call ahead an hour in advance to surely not have to wait, the napkin and utensil situation is terrible. Paper towels off a roll for napkins. Oh, and they give you like, ONE dressing with your 10 wings. Otherwise you gotta pay more for the others. If you like to dip a lot you'll be disappointed as well. Also, if you sit in the restaurant to eat, this location has no trash can in the lobby. Not kidding. No way for you to help them clear room for others when everyone is waiting. They clearly aren't quick with the cooking and not efficient with the cleaning either. Just kind of a mess, all of the time. Last thing: I know it sounds petty to knock them down for just having to wait and especially tonight because I got forgot. But this scene just plays out every night in a way. One night I went in there and ordered (didn't call ahead). I sat down to a table adjacent to an older gentleman who worked at the Lowe's that shared the parking lot with Wingstop. We had a bunch of time to chat (again with the waiting) and he looked at his watch and said, "man, I'm not going to have time to eat". You see, it was his first time there and his break was only 30 minutes. Use 5 minutes to walk to WS, 5 minutes to walk back, and then... YES, 20 minutes to order and get his food. Literally just took his food and walked back to work without being able to eat it. The vibe is clearly fast food, not luxury sit-down. I would recommend that the checkout person be more upfront about the wait. Maybe a sign that says, "current cook time is 15 minutes". So someone like this nice, old man doesn't have to just miss out eating on his lunch break! read more

Just had my first and last meal from wingstop. My mother and I just ordered take out. Preorder for 8pm. Got to wingstop 15 mins early and the food was already to go. Got it only took 10 mins to get home. We spent almost $25 for 10 bone in wings each 2 large fries and 2 drinks. Would not have minded the price if the food had been good. The fries were ice cold and mushy not crispy at all. The wings also cold and dry. I did get half garlic parmesan dry rub but the mild sauce wings should have been juicy not like an old leather shoe. Tonight the guy who took my order was friendly and even gave me a better deal (substituted my drink for cheese sauce even!!). I love when customer service gets taken to the extra mile in place of being just an order taker. The food here is always consistent in taste; I like the Cajun, spicy Korean, Louisana rub, and hickory smoked Bbq. They have a new boneless wing special: available all the time 5 wings/fries/drink for only $5 (I substitute out the drink for cheese sauce). Once in a blue moon I love to indulge in wings. We found out about Wing Stop last month and so happy we did. In addition to the wings being delicious and as true to what the original chicken wing concept, the extra option of choosing to get your fries extra crispy makes this place my go to spot when I have a cheat day. The french fries are delicious and fresh and as close to perfection as you can get. I am not a big fan of oversized wings (makes me feel like the chickens were fed hormones to inflate them). The normal size of the wings are exactly as they should be. The flavor makes it way to the core and I have to say they are the best wings in Idaho. The only reason I did not award this place 5 stars is the dine in restaurant itself. Its sparse and cold. You really don't feel like eating there. For take out its near perfection. The service was friendly, and the food was fast! The restaurant was very clean. The A/C feels really nice and balances out the sweat from the hot wings. I gave it a 3 because it wouldn't be a waste if you tired it once, but it's not a place we will probably visit back. Was very happy to see that they finally put a wing stop in boise. I have stopped in probably 3 times since they have opened and every time good quality food. I wish the place was a little bigger but once the weather cools there is some outdoor seating to help. Place is very simple. You select how many wings u want. If you want boneless or original. Then you select your level of hotness. I haven't tried the atomic but the original hot is very good doesn't have much of a bit but good flavors. Would easily rate this as the best wing place in boise for sure and the fact there open untill midnight is awesome.. However, whenever I order from here, I am always pleased. When I pick up my food, the cashier repeats my order back to me to ensure that they made it correctly and are always pleasant. I love good hotwings. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of good, traditional buffalo style wings when I moved here from the east coast. Their buffalo sauce is spot on. Nice and vinegary, not too thick, not too thin, and not JUST Frank's red hot. They do it right here. This place is probably my new go-to for wings. I had trouble with Buffalo Wild Wings since they never put enough sauce to cover the damn wing, unlike this place. My favorites are the garlic parmesan boneless wing, always hot and fresh to bite into. The fries are way over seasoned, so just stick to the veggies and you will be okay. Wish they had more of a drink selection, but you get what you get. Prices are somewhat reasonable. Longer wait time than what you expect so if you are dining in, expect to chat with your loved ones or be on your phone for a while. Otherwise for to-go, you will be fine with hot food when you arrive to their place. Staff is always nice when assisting me with my order. Hope this place improves more because I would love to come here more often. read more

This was a frustrating experience. It's the second time I have come to this location and both times have not been good. First of all the wait time is way too long. It was a 30+ wait to get 8 wings. That is just too long. Wingers is always around 10 minutes so this is a real problem and the ambiance isn't nearly as good as Wingers either. The second problem was the soda machine was empty of Dr Pepper, Sprite and Coke. Multiple people kept telling them it was out and were told that it was being fixed but at least when I was there, it was not fixed. Then, the fries I got with the meal were really soggy. Nothing worse than soggy fries. And, lastly, the wings were pretty dry and not much flavor on them. So that begs the question: why would I ever go back? A pretty solid wingery (yup, just made a new word) that knows how to cook chicken! My wife and I recently ordered take out from Wing Stop and were pleasantly surprised by their offering. My wife had the parmesan garlic wings and I had the parmesan garlic chicken tenders. I am not a fan of actual wings, too much work, not enough reward but I love chicken tenders. Upon biting into my chicken tender, I quickly realized it was one of the juiciest and tenderest chicken pieces I have eaten in a long time. The tender lived up to its name! These guys really know how to cook chicken, it was perfectly done. My wife encountered the same goodness in her wings as well. The only part of Wing Stop that I'm not sold on is the powdered flavoring they put on the chicken. When you order wings from Buffalo Wild Wings you get bites of meat slathered in various tasty sauces. While Wing Stop's variety of flavors was good, I am not sold on the powder coating. It tasted good but I think I like my chicken with sauces rather than powders. Overall, Wing Stop was a surprisingly good experience and a wingery (the more I say it, the faster it catches on) that really knows how to cook chicken to perfection. read more

I've been here once, and ordered 20 wings, Hawaiian, barbecue, and garlic parmesan. I enjoyed the garlic parmasan. They seemed to be well cooked and instead of having the flavoring just sort of slathered over the top, the flavoring was cooked as part of the wing. They were a little crispy and very tasty. If I ever go back, which is unlikely, I would order the garlic parmesan wings. The other two flavors appeared to be undercooked, as the skin of most of the wings was white instead of browned. Over the top of these white-skinned chicken wings, they slathered the flavoring. The result was a pasty looking, chicken wing with sauce smeared over the top. I learned a lesson! If I Want a really good chicken wing, don't go to a place that mass-produces them, it just didn't work. read more
