Maia was our server, and she did a great job. Very friendly and attentive. She served our pizza and boxed our leftovers for us. We got the combo deep dish pizza with a house salad. The pizza came out faster than it has in the past, and it was still delicious. Maybe a bit too much tomato sauce, but the meat and veggies were very good, and the crust was yummy! My daughter and I had a hazy IPA to go with our meal, also tasty. Full Disclosure: I come here for special occasions. I love the deep dish pizza, but it does not love my waistline. But, we will most certainly be back!

They said that only one pizza was ready and the second should be out shortly, but five minutes later I was told that they made the wrong pizza so I would need to wait for them to start from the beginning on that one. So my one pizza stayed in a warmer while I waited for an additional 20 minutes before I could go back to my house much later than intended. I live five minutes away, but by the time I got home the first pizza was clearly not as hot as the second, and both were relatively lackluster in flavor. The amount of bread in their deep dish wouldn't be as much of a challenge if they put an adequate amount of sauce on, but both pies were incredibly dry because it was mostly bread and cheese. Overall, I have no reason to give them a second chance. The pies weren't flavorful, were terrible the next morning, and I spent too much time and money to have that much disappointment. Old Chicago will continue to be my go to for deep dish.

Definitely would recommend coming back for the pizza. The service was friendly and fast. The place was well kept clean, felt more like a strip mall than a pizza place. The biggest drawback is we were there at 6:30 PM on a Friday night and there was not anyone old enough to serve any of the eight beers they have on tap. Seems like pizza and beer should go together right? When you advertise beer as part of your offerings, and there is no one to serve it on a Friday night that seems like a loss, not only a profits, but to the customers experience and expectation.

My husband and I came to Mountain Mike's for dinner tonight to celebrate our friend's birthday. We…read moreall had planned to eat at another joint but the wait was too long. Pizza sounded good so we made our way over. We came around 7 and it was pretty chill. No one in the dining area and a couple guys waiting for their take out pizza. When we first walked into the shop, we were overtaken by a very abrasive, chemical smell. It honestly smelled like paint thinner. It was really intense and you wouldn't think you were in a pizza joint. The smell took over the whole restaurant. We decided to stay put so we all looked over the menu to figure out what we all wanted to eat. I honestly wanted to leave cause the thought of inhaling those fumes during dinner didn't sound appealing. We started our order off with some wings. We wanted an order of mozzarella sticks, not available. We wanted loaded potatoe wedges, not available. Rather disappointing since it's listed on the menu board and a menu on the counter. After making some changes since those options weren't available, my husband got a small salami and extra cheese pizza. Our friend got a small Pikes Peak. We were kinda shocked at the price when the girl who took our order said our total was close to 80 bucks. 2 small pizzas, 16 wings and 2 drinks was almost 80 bucks!?! And then with tip it was almost 100. The tip portion confuses me since they really don't serve us. They dropped off the pizza and don't tend to us what so ever. I understand a small tip but they shouldn't be expecting 20% if you're not doing anything to earn it. Our food was starting to slowly come out. The Pikes Peak pizza and my husband's custom pizza came out first. Then a small cheese pizza was also delivered to our table. Non of us ordered a small cheese pizza so now I know why our total was damn near 80 dollars. My wings got dropped off last. My husband who is so kind decided to keep the cheese pizza and did not make a big deal about it. I personally would have sent it back and would have asked for a refund since we never been ordered it in the first place. All the pizzas were good. The Pikes Peak pizza was loaded with all the goodies. My husband's pizza was covered in cheese and had a great amount of salami on it. The cheese pizza was also covered in cheese and had a great cheese pull. My wings were nice and spicy! The blue cheese was a perfect pairing to the wing. It was all so good. The only goal I had was to have my friend's dinner be good for good birthday. He enjoyed his dinner. But I'm not impressed with the extra pizza, the associate that wasn't paying attention to our order and overcharged us, the amount we spent and the chemical that was used while we were eating. The cleaner fluid that smelled like paint thinner was used to clean the dining area. I understand if you choose to clean at the end of the night with this cleaner but it's absolutely ridiculous to use it while people are dining. The food tonight was great but everything else was ridiculous. Future advice to those who plan on eating here, make sure you go over your order and prices before you pay. I did an order online to see what our total would be, 61 bucks not 80.

We took it as a sign and decided to grab a bite to eat here. It was around 2 when we came and it was pretty quiet. We came after the lunch crowd but before dinner. We were greeted by a nice gentleman behind the counter. We breezed over the menu to see what we wanted for lunch. I honestly only wanted some meatballs in marinara sauce. My husband wanted a calzone and not a whole pizza, we thought that the calzone would be a better portion since we would be having dinner in a few hours. So the meatballs and meat supreme calzone got ordered. My husband did comment that our order seemed pricey. For a side of 3 meatballs, a soda and a calzone it was about 30 bucks. To me, I agreed with my husband. We did ask for a receipt but never got one. We hung out and chilled while our food was being prepared. The venue was clean. The music was going and created a fun vibe. Before we knew it our food was ready. My meatballs were nicely cut up into bite sized pieces. There was melted cheese on top. The meatballs were tasty! The marinara was tangy and fresh. It wasn't overwhelming with herbs which was really nice! The meatballs could have been a little hotter but the temp they were at was still nice. My husband's calzone was piping out the of the oven hot! It was loaded with all sorts of goodies and marinara. I of course took a bite and it was delicious! The breading was crusty, the cheese was so melty and the variety of meats in the middle was fantastic! It was a huge calzone and we ended up taking the other half home. We had a great meal here today. The calzone was delicious and my husband is looking forward to eating the other half for lunch tomorrow. I polished off all my meatballs and know what I will be getting the next time we hit this joint up again. Looking forward to another great meal is we are in this area again.

I think the time before that was to grab a sandwich from the deli for my husband. Conveniently, my hubby wanted a snack so I stopped in to see what I could grab for him. I saw a gentleman pull some fresh pepperoni pizza out of the brick oven. That was my sign to grab my husband a couple slices, he loves pizza. The gentleman helped a couple guests ahead of me. He greeted me but realized he was out of gloves. So, he went to the back to grab some and the gal who was starting the dough stepped in to help me. She asked if i wanted some pizza and of course I said yes. Looking at the pizza, there was no real rhyme or reason to how they sliced it. All the slices were different in size. Not one is the same. One huge slice, many smaller slices and some slivers. I asked her if 2 smaller slices count as 1. She said yes. I wanted a total of 2 big slices. I was in the middle of asking her and was cut off cause I didn't answer her if I wanted pepperoni or Hawaiian. I was literally trying to talk her that I wanted a total of 4 slices to make 2 big slices and was shut down. I took my 2 small slices and went on my merry way. I honestly didn't even want to take the slices I had. The whole interaction with her was tasteless. Why would I want to bring this to my husband? I have never worked in a Deli type job but I have worked in the food industry. Today's interaction with the gal was such a turn off. Maybe she should stick with making the pizzas instead of helping customers. What a complete waste of time coming in and grabbing 2 uneven slices of pizza. I haven't been in for a long time before this and I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. I'd rather buy a full pizza and have my husband toss the other half of the uneaten pizza than be treated like how I did today.
