Went to Chicago Fire with my family and honestly the highlight of the whole experience was our server, Marshall. From the second we sat down, he was on it. Super attentive without hovering, quick with everything, and just genuinely easy to talk to. You can tell he actually cares about doing a great job, not just going through the motions. He made sure everything came out right, kept drinks filled, and checked in at the perfect times. It's rare to come across service like that anymore. Marshall completely changed the experience for us, in the best way. If management sees this, he deserves recognition (and probably a raise). People like him are the reason customers come back. read more

I placed an order for carry out and when I arrived, I was directed to a room in the back corner that was separated from the main dining area, and it took a few minutes before anyone came in and asked if I was there to pick up. They said that only one pizza was ready and the second should be out shortly, but five minutes later I was told that they made the wrong pizza so I would need to wait for them to start from the beginning on that one. So my one pizza stayed in a warmer while I waited for an additional 20 minutes before I could go back to my house much later than intended. I live five minutes away, but by the time I got home the first pizza was clearly not as hot as the second, and both were relatively lackluster in flavor. The amount of bread in their deep dish wouldn't be as much of a challenge if they put an adequate amount of sauce on, but both pies were incredibly dry because it was mostly bread and cheese. Overall, I have no reason to give them a second chance. The pies weren't flavorful, were terrible the next morning, and I spent too much time and money to have that much disappointment. Old Chicago will continue to be my go to for deep dish. read more

I've heard nothing but great things about Chicago fire pizza since they've opened and I've been dying to try it. Finally for my birthday last night we stopped in for dinner for our family of four. I had no idea what to expect and I was genuinely pleased to see that this is a sit-down/full service restaurant with a full menu. Thursday night, 7 PM and the place had a healthy amount of tables filled, but there was still room to immediately be seated. I was very happy with our table. It was comfortable and roomy enough for our two teenagers and two adults. Service was quick and very friendly. Compared to other restaurants that I've been to lately the service was far superior. Our orders were taken quickly. Our drinks were kept full, and the food came out in a timely manner. These things meant a lot to me. I had just about given up on full service dining but Chicago fire really offers great service. Thank you for restoring my faith. The menu offers appetizers, salad, pasta, sandwiches, and of course, pizza. They offered a thin crunchy crust, New York style crust, and a deep dish. The sizes range from personal pizzas to extra large. You can make your own or choose from one of their specialty pizzas. The pizza prices are very fair and if we lived closer, this would be our regular go to for takeout. We ordered an appetizer, salads, and an extra large New York style crust specialty pizza called Da Cub Club. This is very similar to a chicken, bacon, ranch pizza. We substituted the garlic sauce for marinara. We nibbled on the appetizer and then the salads. Salads were big enough to share for two people. After that, the pizza came out just as the menu described it. Our waitress apologized and said she put in an order with our substitution for marinara but they made it the original way and she'd bring the other pizza out shortly but offered us this pizza if we wanted to nibble on it as we waited a little bit longer. Of course we took her up on the offer. First off I have to say the pizza was fabulous even though we usually don't like a white sauce. Their garlic sauce was very heavy on the garlic flavor and if you love garlic, you might love this just the way it is. I have to say we each ate one giant slice and we were full. So when the other pizza came out, we took it home. Today, for breakfast, I pulled one of the remaining slices cold from the original pizza and it was really really good. I thought it was fabulous last night but this morning it was almost better. I highly recommend Chicago fire Pizza. We will definitely be back and we will definitely be trying a deep dish version next time as well as the thin crust, which is one of my favorite types of crust. Update: Haven't been here since my birthday last year, and since my birthday is tomorrow, when my wife asked me where I wanted to eat, I said Chicago Fire. We came about 2 pm on a Saturday. It was a great time, because the restaurant was not crowded. We were seated right away at a half-booth. I would have preferred a booth, and I'm sure I could have asked for one, but our side of the restaurant was not crowded, and I appreciated the quiet. Our server was Payton, and she did an excellent job of taking care of us. She was very nice and very attentive. After receiving our food, she checked back on us several times. I ordered a hazy IPA that I enjoyed. We ordered an antipasto salad and a medium deep dish combo pizza. You have to realize that the deep dish pizza takes longer, in this case 20 minutes or more. But, it's worth the wait. As I've come to expect, the pizza was delicious. My wife and I were only able to eat one piece, it is that substantial and filling. So, I have a lot of leftovers to look forward to, and that is great! My only complaint is about the antipasto salad. I wouldn't call it antipasto. While it had a lot of good stuff, including pepperoncinis, one of my favorites, I think we only got about 3 slices of salami in the medium size, which is skimpy. I would probably not order it again. We have now been here 3 times, and for me, it's a real treat. The service has always been great, and the deep dish pizza is awesome. I would love to come more often, but my waistline would not. Made a reservation for a large party on the phone and they blamed their reservation system for not having our table ready even though we received a text confirmation. Ready to give the place a fair shot (partly because our waitress was very nice), we moved past the reservation confusion and wait. It took an hour for our food to come out and tbh it was just okay. It's not the best pizza or wings but the ranch is fire. If I had to try the pizza again, I would get extra sauce because it was quite dry. Otherwise, the restaurant wasn't very busy, there was lots of parking, and the bathroom was clean. read more

To the left is the room with the bar and tall top tables. Then directly ahead and to the right are dining rooms. Red walls and brick flanked by black booths and wood tables are the decor. The ambiance is classic, casual, and Chicago style. The food is yummy. They have a variety of appetizers to start your meal or to choose during happy hour with drinks. They have pizzas in thin crust, hand tossed and deep dish. Lots of pizzas to choose from or put on what toppings you like. There are salads in two sizes single and family size. Caesar, house and others. If you have room there are desserts as well. Check it out Our favorite tastes: The boneless wings are so delish. Actually better than traditional wing places. My family and I visited Chicago Fire last night and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience with our server, Marshall. We've been coming here as a family for a long time, and this experience was very unlike the positive visits we usually have. First, I want to say the food was amazing as always, and we have absolutely nothing against Chicago Fire as a whole. We genuinely love this restaurant and that's why we felt it was important to share this experience honestly. Throughout the meal, the way Marshall stared at our table made several of us uncomfortable. We also overheard him speaking to coworkers in a way that came across as dismissive and disrespectful. The overall service felt awkward and unpleasant from start to finish. At the end of the meal, he handed us a Yelp review card and asked us to leave a review to help him win money of some sort, which honestly made the situation even more uncomfortable given the experience we had just had. We will absolutely continue supporting Chicago Fire because we've always had great experiences otherwise, but we sincerely hope we do not have Marshall as our server again. read more

My friend and I randomly go to Chicago Fire on Tuesday evenings to enjoy the happy hour and weekly trivia game. Every time we go we are always greeted by Jaylin who always tells us welcome and would you like your usual drinks/appetizers. it always amazes us how she remembers us and what we order since we are not consistent weekly customers. Gave it another try. Flavor wise 5 stars but my husband didn't like the crust he was hoping it was soft and pillowy but he said it's hard and crunchy. He liked the sauce with to big tomatoes. Cheese sticks and buffalo wings get 5 stars... delicious. My cauliflower pizza was amazing but they were so skimpy on the sausage and it's expensive, if I'm paying that much I want more sausage. We've been to Chicago Fire a few times. We LOVE it. After our first visit we started recommending it. We went back a 2nd time and brought some friends. Same for our 3rd visit brought along more friends. We've been back a few more times on our own. The prices are great! We got a complete meal for 2 including appetizers, dessert and adult beverages for under 100.00!! We even had leftovers. The staff is very kind and attentive. It's clean and fast. The food was great and our server was very sweet. She was incredibly busy and still managed everything with a smile.

I have mixed emotions about Chicago Fire and my experience there. First, when we entered the restaurant in the late afternoon, we all noticed a smell that was similar to sewer smell. Not always strong, but it was something you could smell. Next, we ordered two beers and a Diet Coke, that seemed to come out pretty quick, but we were never offered any water. We had one small deep dish pizza (combo) and one large pepperoni and jalapeño thin crust. My wife also had a salad. Eventually the large pizza came out and was actually good. However we had to ask for the salad. Interestingly, it must have been sitting in the kitchen somewhere, as the person running food came right back with it. The deep dish was not good. The bottom crust was hard, probably overcooked and not a good consistency. Also, on both of the pizza racks there are candles to warm the pizza and our server never lit them. About 3/4 of the way through dinner, my son ordered one more beer, but it didn't arrive until we were ready to pay and leave so we sent it back. I think this place could be good if they improved service and food quality, but frankly I wouldn't go back. Try somewhere else for pizza especially for $80. read more

Visited Chicago fire for the first time while visiting from out of town. Our server Maia was great and very attentive. We had the margarita pizza, Caesar salad and breaded artichoke bites (didn't even know these were a thing). Everything was very tasty including the cucumber and raspberry martinis!
