I asked my fiance to pick it up on the way home and he ended up bringing back the food around 8:20. He told me that when he went to pick it up, they asked him to wait and ended up handing to him around 8:10. He stated to me that they were VERY UNAPOLOGETIC and seemingly did not care that he needed to wait. What was worse was that by the time he got home and we opened up our order, it was completely wrong. They gave us some sweet, spicy, barbeque, while we ordered garlic parmesan. FIRST VISIT: First occurrence was on my birthday. I wanted wings, so I ordered at 8pm. I was told it would be ready at 8:30. Upon arrival, I was told that they "see my order" but it hasn't been made yet. I waited an additional 20 minutes just to hear it wasn't ready, again. 40 minutes pass and I was told they are boxing it. At 9:10, I finally was becoming impatient. I went in and asked where the food was? The staff was incredibly rude and said we will have to wait. It has already been an hour and 20 minutes past the time it said the food was ready. I started to notice people coming in after me were getting their food. The lady next to me said she was waiting for two hours just to find out that her food had been sitting on the rack but told it wasn't ready. Her food was cold by then and she was upset. As she was leaving, the staff members were mocking and laughing at how upset she was. My order had started to reach almost 2 hours of waiting, so I lost patience and said, "This is ridiculous". Where is the food? I was told, " I don't have control over this." At the two hour mark, the food was ready. I put the order in at 8. I was notified food was ready at 8:30. I did not leave the restaurant until 10:10. SECOND VISIT: I decided to give them a second chance and placed an order for two. As we sat down to eat at home, we opened the boxes to find little to no sauce. I am pretty sure everyone can fry chicken. Customers pay for the different variety of sauce. To find that there was barely any... was so upsetting. To add, I figured that maybe the sauce went to the bottom of the container... unfortunately, it was dry. Wing stop is neither good or bad. It serves up what tastes like fairly fresh but still slightly processed chicken. The tenders are better than at fast food joints but me personally...I am not a fan of the sauces. The sauces are either too salty or too sweet, not a single one of them is in the zone for me. The wings were a bit greasy for my taste also. They were hard pressed to get the order out quick so they went from fryer to sauces, to the little boat but it could have used a minute to drain off some oil. Their fries were good though! I really enjoyed picking off the fries from my kid's plate and honestly, the fries were actually good dipped in those sauces. The place is clean and employees are helpful but the food is just not that good to warrant a return visit. My kid likes the wings so I am sure we will be by again sometime but me personally, not really felling the place so I will have to pass, except for the fries. All of the 1 star reviews are true cause this location has very rude staff. The female cashier named Leia was rude. It seems like she's never worked in customer service before because she was at the cash register and she did not approach the customers who were waiting to place the order. She just was standing them and staring at them, waiting for them to come. I love Wing Stop. Its one of the many things I crave when I am in Hawaii because Big Island has absolutely nothing! I always wanted a WS nearby my parents house and finally my dream came true. Its in that new plaza with Tokyo Table, JJ Bakery and Sprouts Market. Parking is plenty and there are many stalls for 30 minute parking if youre just picking up an order. I usually never eat at WS but rather order online and eat it at home with the fam. They have what Monday and Tuesday specials for Boneless Wings for 60 cents per wing which is a pretty good deal, but it doesnt really matter for me because I think they honestly suck. I like the bone in; especially flats. My order is basically all flats in Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Pepper and Original. I know a lot of folks like their dips/ranch but since I dont do sauce, I never really get them unless I am eating with a friend. I also like their fries. Potato fries with skin, its pretty good! Oh, and I cant forget the Veggie Sticks. I love celery (I know a lot of you dont) and its so good when eaten together. By the way, I hate carrots. I am giving them a three star rating just because they are pretty slow. I placed an order online and it said it will be ready in certain time and I got there 10 mins past their promised time and I still had to wait 10 more minutes at the store.
