One of the most anticipated CFA locations among the Monterey Park Marketplace Shopping Center and this spot is pretty decent. They're often packed especially the drive thru line but they do move pretty quickly. Inside is also very spacious and well coordinated. Staff here is very friendly and efficient. Recommended to order on their app to acquire points for rewards. Staff is quick with both dine in and take out orders. Inside is also decently clean for a fast food spot. My partner and I visited for their Chicken and Waffle menu introduction and it was amazing. We got plenty of bite size samples from the staff and it was absolutely delicious. The savory + sweetness combo is just amazing. They also have a spicy version as well. My go to here is always gonna be the CFA Deluxe + Waffle Fries. CFA is known for their consistency and it shows from their food quality. I love that the portions are bigger than most + affordable. Waffle fries are always fresh, warm, and not too salty, one of the best fast food fries of all time. Overall, one of the best fast food spots, decent food quality for the price you pay + fast service is always a great combo. First of all, I had no idea Chick-fil-A sold plushies until recently! This was actually my first time dining in at this location since I usually just go through the drive-thru. My boyfriend and I decided to eat inside so we could enjoy our meal fresh and hot. While ordering my food, I immediately noticed the adorable cow plushies displayed in the glass case near the front counter. I was so curious and had to ask if they were available for purchase. Our food came out quickly and everything tasted delicious, just as expected. The employees were all very friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our visit. After we finished eating, I finally asked about the plushies. They had three different ones available, but unfortunately the one I wanted was out of stock. However, one of the employees offered me a completely different plushie that wasn't even on display and I had to buy it lol. Overall, I had a great experience dining in. The service was excellent, the food was fresh and tasty, and I really appreciated how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was. I love Chick-fil-A, and this location is one of my favorites that I go to all the time. The food always comes out hot and fresh. My go-to order is the spicy chicken sandwich combo. I usually get mac & cheese as the side and a Coke Zero to drink. I also love their waffle fries, so I almost always add a small order on the side too. The chicken sandwich is always a good size. I hate when the patty is tiny and doesn't even cover the bun, but that's never been an issue here. Even though I've been eating Chick-fil-A for years, I only tried their mac & cheese within the last year, and now I'm obsessed. This location, in my opinion, has the best one because the top is always a little burnt, which I love. Customer service here is great. Located in Monterey Park you would think all Chick-fil-A stores are the same but this one needs some help with almost everything. From the start I had ordered through the app and was driving to this location it said my order will be ready in a certain time frame. But once I got there there was a shift change and I could see my meal just sitting there and not being completed after an extra 10 minutes of waiting I finally got my order. But guess what? My sandwich was completely soggy and gross. The bread itself was saturated and so was the inside of the container that it was in. This has to be the saddest lunch I have had recently. Employees regularly ignore customers standing right in front of them, and staff members routinely fail to call out order names when the food is ready, letting meals sit and get cold. To make matters worse, when confronted about the delays, the staff has actively lied about the order status instead of fixing the issue.Because the prices skyrocketed and the service tanked, I initially stopped spending money here and only used the app to redeem my free reward offers. However, during my last few visits, even the food quality and taste were way below standard. I've been a fan of chick fil A back when I discovered it as a teenager in a local shopping mall. I remember I used to get so excited when I'd see them passing out free samples. It's like they say, "the first one is always free" lol. This location is pretty close to home and I can't resist going once in a while when I get a hankering for salty chicken. Their drive thru line is always pretty busy, but if you go at an off peak time, like late afternoon, it's not too bad. Ordering ahead in the app also helps. The food and service is good and the app offers some nice rewards from time to time. My favorites are the breakfast biscuits, spicy chicken sandwich, the nuggets, and the half lemonade half ice tea drink. I do have to say though, their 12 nuggets are not consistently measured. I sometimes get a few more, sometimes a few less. Today was 9 pieces .
