Great fried Chicken place. We tried a couple of things there and their spicy fried chicken is the best there. Delicious batter and juicy meat. The New Orleans wings were alright. Not the best flavor and smaller than the fried wings. The fries were soggy and the flavor was lacking. The wraps are big and juicy. Great bang for your buck. If you come here definitely get the Spicy Fried Wings, The Wraps, or the chicken burgers!

I came placed order on kiosk. And wow!!!! Mind blown.. the waffle fries are so good and the sandwich so crispy . I was craving mozzarella sticks. Bomb!!!! Is chill inside.

Crispy Chicken On Bun (dark meat) + curly fries

Stopped by for lunch and got it to go! As of last month I paid $17.65 for the meal combo with crispy chicken on bun (dark meat), sub for curly fries, and a soda. I really liked it! The chicken sandwich was super juicy like I was so impressed? And the sauce and toppings that they give you just make it a satisfying bite. Not like other places where it's like bread + meat + tiny bit of spread + iceberg lettuce unless you add a bunch of toppings. Here they actually make it worth your while. The curly fries also really hit the spot and are seasoned thoroughly. Not sure if they make it in house but I'm not complaining. I wish it was packed separately though so the fries stayed crispy. The steam of everything in one box kinda made them soft. Unpictured is the giant cup of soda that you fill up yourself and something greasy like this just alwayssss pairs so well with soda. Just get the combo it's so worth. They do take awhile to bring out your food (I'm sure since it's made to order) so I'll probably order ahead next time. Just factor that in if you're trying to get it on your lunch break!

Good chicken spot for a quick bite. Had the chicken sandwhich meal and it was delicious. My girlfriend had gotten the spicy wings and boy I tell you it made a grown man tear up. It was spicy... It also stayed hot throughout the time we were eating so the wings are spicy from the outside and hot from the inside. The ambiance wasn't anything special, seemed like a place to order Togo but it was still good regardless.

We were passing thru SGV and I craving a fried chicken sandwich but with an asian flavor twist. Not sure if this had it or not but it was still a good sandwich! We went late on a Friday night an hour before closing. We ordered at the counter though they also had self-help kiosks. I had the chicken sandwich and it was so juicy (cause I got dark meat) and dripping with flavor. I thought the batter had some Asian flavoring to it but my partner thought it was pretty basic. Either way, we both agreed it was good. My partner had the walnut shrimp burger. It felt slightly undercooked (there were some bit of grey) but it came with a lot of walnuts. It tasted good though--the parts we were sure were fully cooked that is. We also got onion rings as a side which we both liked. Overall it was good food but next time we may ask for the shrimp burger to be extra done if that's even an option (only reason this wasn't a 5 stars experience). The store itself was well-lit, clean, and the staff was friendly. Parking was easy for us since it was late but I can see parking being an issue since they have no lot and there is a busy plaza across the way. FYI - The take out containers for the sandwiches are also super heavy duty. There is ample space for some steam to fill before it starts making the food soggy (we ate in the car so our food didn't get soggy). I applaud the heavy duty, paper containers--I assume they're better for the environment than plastic or styrofoam.

Are you craving a chicken sandwich, but not one from a mainstream fast food franchise? This describes why I decided to pick Chicken Bun Bun! I placed a pick up order and picked it up at around 6 pm. It wasn't busy in the store at the time, but I needed to wait a bit because the staff was in the back. For my order, I got the spicy chicken sandwich with a side of popcorn chicken. I thought the container designs were very creative and interesting! The popcorn chicken had a lot of flavor, it was juicy, and it paired well with the sauce. It also had a good crunch on the outside. The pieces were big and they were also generous with the amount. For the chicken sandwich, it was crispy, spicy, and didn't taste greasy. The coleslaw and the pickles were great additions to the sandwich. The bun selection was great, because it kept the sandwich together. As for the sauce, I did ask for it to be spicy. As someone that likes spicy food, I thought it was great and as expected. The ratio of the sauce was also a good amount.

    Cute packaging!

I stopped by here in a Monday afternoon. They have an excellent chicken sandwich! I got the spicy version, white meat. Price was 9.99 (same price for dark meat). I waited about 5 minutes for the order. The sandwich was huge! Spice was flavorful with a good amount of kick. A couple of pickles and sauce inside the fluffy top bun. The filet breading was excellent . It had a real nice crisp to it and wasn't greasy at all. There were several pickup orders while I waited for my sandwich, so I assume they've got a website for order ahead. I'll try that next time. Plenty of parking along Main street, either at the curb or one of the various lots. Will definitely come back.

    Popcorn Chicken. Yum.

People that actually care about what they're serving and you can taste it. Popcorn chicken are quality whole pieces of chicken and they're made fresh to order. Batter is more like good Popeyes than Taiwanese popcorn chicken. I find myself craving this place. I saw another guy finishing eat one sandwich and got up immediately to order another so I guess I'm not the only one. Only about 4-5 tables but feels neat and orderly inside. Busiest weekday afternoons after the nearby high school lets their prisoners out.

My favorite fried chicken place. Their chicken sandwich is the best. Their spicy chicken wings are also amazing. Everything is made fresh so after you order there will be a bit of wait but it's worth. The meat is so juice and tender. It's my guilty pleasure.

This is such a disappointing place. The food weren't good, service was mediocre, and the place was so empty. We were searching for a quick lunch spot on Main St. and noticed this place so stopped by to check it out. Both of us ordered the Crispy Chicken On Bun combo. My friend got the french fries and I got the macaroni salad. The fries were so soggy and bland. The macaroni salad didn't tasted good. Only reason they got an extra star is because we both liked their signature crispy chicken on bun burger. It was packed with flavor and a good portion. Don't think we will come back here again. We weren't satisfied with our meals.

Ok the Spicy Chicken Bun Bun Sando is legit my top 5 all time. Was really surprised, its Taiwanese style, batter is super crispy, fresh and that spicy level caught me off guard. Comes with their sauce pickles and cabbage. Originally tried the location in Rowland Heights, which has closed now. Place is clean, with enough sitting. Staff was nice, not very talkative, which i have no quarrels with food is yummy. Pro-Tip: Sando is fried fresh, order ahead and save the wait.

Fried chicken sandwiches seem to be a dime a dozen nowadays but Chicken Bun Bun tops the list. Spicy Chicken on Bun -- Opted for the dark meat combo with waffle fries. You get a generous piece of juicy, flavorful fried chicken with a little spice. It is has a bit of slaw, bun bun sauce, and pickles. The condiments are minimal so it allows the star of the show shine. Order ahead and enjoy the fried chicken freshly hot.

Please have your employees clean that ice dispenser it's so disgusting. Most of them have downtime during less foot traffic hours.

Sandwich was massive, however, it was mostly lettuce. Didn't notice from the pictures that the sandwiches aren't very balanced between meats and veggies. It's my personal preference for some more balance or flavor in a sandwich, peppers/onions/seasonings. Honestly, Jersey Mike's seasons their veggies better. I will say the bread at this deli was a notch above Jersey Mike's which is definitely a plus as good bread can make or break a sandwich. Mozzarella sticks were great, although they were normal sticks nothing out of the ordinary but I've definitely had worse sticks (looking at you Prince St Pizza...) so I'd recommend them if fried cheese is your jam! Service counter young lady was nice, she was quick and helpful with her suggestions. Small store, kind of looks like a convenience store and then the deli counter is on the right of the entrance and cashier is in the back. Easy ordering process. Parking is in the back, limited spaces. No inside seating available from what I saw, just counter to order and that's it. Grab and go type of spot for sure. Place was OK - if I lived closer, I would think it's an ok spot to come more often but I would not go out of my way to come.

tl;dr the Dutch crunch rolls highlight an otherwise standard lineup of hearty deli sandwiches…read more The Los Angeles sandwich scene ranges from terrific tortas to farmer's market-on-a-bun, but few spots have embraced the Bay Area's beloved Dutch crunch roll. These slightly sweet hoagie rolls are coated with rice flour, creating an addictively crunchy, tortoise-shell top. While hard to find, Dutch crunch rolls are the specialty at Ghost Sando Shop. This small sandwich chain (from the mind of NorCal native and former Chipotle exec Benjamin Sales) debuted in the Fairfax District, and it has expanded to Orange County and the Valley. Every sandwich at Ghost Sando sports a Dutch crunch roll, and the lineup has achieved TikTok fame. Briefly, Grand Central Market is a semi-outdoor industrial market turned upscale food court. The sky-high walls are painted white, and the concrete floors are slickly polished. Even during the day, only a few rays of sunshine enter through the skylight roof, leaving each vendor's neon sign to pop. During busy hours, expect foot traffic shoulder-to-shoulder through the narrow aisleways. Here, Ghost Sando has a central stall near the wide stairwell. You can't miss the bright teal paint or custom green neon sign. The walls are tastefully decked with hexagon tile and wooden slats. The sandwich production line is front and center, and staff members buzz around even well after the weekday lunch rush. Stools are pressed up against the long stainless steel bar counter, guaranteeing a seat for customers. My partner and I visited Ghost Sando for a weekday lunch, but our food was prepared relatively quickly. Immediately, I was shocked by the sheer density of the sandwiches. Rolled into compact cylinders, the weight could have fooled me into thinking they were bricks. The "Large" size was plenty for even a hefty appetite, but I can't imagine how anyone could tackle the double-topping "XX Large" portions. I also enjoyed the unique Dutch crunch loaf -- consider holding your sandwich upside-down to fully appreciate the crispy shell. Otherwise, the sandwiches were more standard than spectacular. The cold cuts are more like grocery store variety than premium deli, and the veggies are only a step above Subway. I preferred the mildly spicy Firebird to the warm-ish Pastrami Mami, but neither blew my socks off. The service is mostly disengaged, and the sandwiches run from $15 each. Reasonably, a sandwich can be extended across 2 meals. The sandos are mostly standard, but the Dutch crunch rolls are mildly addictive. While Ghost Sando is not a reason alone to pay GCM a visit, it is a filling and reliable bet for routine DTLA lunch.
