Delicious! The popcorn chicken was perfectly crispy without being dry or oily. Plus, huge portion size for the "side dish" of popcorn chicken and at a great price. I ate it as my meal and it was filling with the curly fries. Fries taste like Arby's curly fries which I love. Flavorful and crispy. There was also a lot of fries! One order of fries was perfect for 2 people. Plus, I like dry rubs, so I got the seaweed seasoning on the fries. It was so good, I love the blend of asian flavors here given the location of the store is in a fairly asian dominant area.
Stopped by for lunch and got it to go! As of last month I paid $17.65 for the meal combo with crispy chicken on bun (dark meat), sub for curly fries, and a soda. I really liked it! The chicken sandwich was super juicy like I was so impressed? And the sauce and toppings that they give you just make it a satisfying bite. Not like other places where it's like bread + meat + tiny bit of spread + iceberg lettuce unless you add a bunch of toppings. Here they actually make it worth your while. The curly fries also really hit the spot and are seasoned thoroughly. Not sure if they make it in house but I'm not complaining. I wish it was packed separately though so the fries stayed crispy. The steam of everything in one box kinda made them soft. Unpictured is the giant cup of soda that you fill up yourself and something greasy like this just alwayssss pairs so well with soda. Just get the combo it's so worth. They do take awhile to bring out your food (I'm sure since it's made to order) so I'll probably order ahead next time. Just factor that in if you're trying to get it on your lunch break!
I came placed order on kiosk. And wow!!!! Mind blown.. the waffle fries are so good and the sandwich so crispy . I was craving mozzarella sticks. Bomb!!!! Is chill inside.

It also stayed hot throughout the time we were eating so the wings are spicy from the outside and hot from the inside. The ambiance wasn't anything special, seemed like a place to order Togo but it was still good regardless.
We were passing thru SGV and I craving a fried chicken sandwich but with an asian flavor twist. Not sure if this had it or not but it was still a good sandwich! We went late on a Friday night an hour before closing. We ordered at the counter though they also had self-help kiosks. I had the chicken sandwich and it was so juicy (cause I got dark meat) and dripping with flavor. I thought the batter had some Asian flavoring to it but my partner thought it was pretty basic. Either way, we both agreed it was good. My partner had the walnut shrimp burger. It felt slightly undercooked (there were some bit of grey) but it came with a lot of walnuts. It tasted good though--the parts we were sure were fully cooked that is. We also got onion rings as a side which we both liked. Overall it was good food but next time we may ask for the shrimp burger to be extra done if that's even an option (only reason this wasn't a 5 stars experience). The store itself was well-lit, clean, and the staff was friendly. Parking was easy for us since it was late but I can see parking being an issue since they have no lot and there is a busy plaza across the way. FYI - The take out containers for the sandwiches are also super heavy duty. There is ample space for some steam to fill before it starts making the food soggy (we ate in the car so our food didn't get soggy). I applaud the heavy duty, paper containers--I assume they're better for the environment than plastic or styrofoam.

I thought the container designs were very creative and interesting! The popcorn chicken had a lot of flavor, it was juicy, and it paired well with the sauce. It also had a good crunch on the outside. The pieces were big and they were also generous with the amount. For the chicken sandwich, it was crispy, spicy, and didn't taste greasy. The coleslaw and the pickles were great additions to the sandwich. The bun selection was great, because it kept the sandwich together. As for the sauce, I did ask for it to be spicy. As someone that likes spicy food, I thought it was great and as expected. The ratio of the sauce was also a good amount.
I stopped by here in a Monday afternoon. They have an excellent chicken sandwich! I got the spicy version, white meat. Price was 9.99 (same price for dark meat). I waited about 5 minutes for the order. The sandwich was huge! Spice was flavorful with a good amount of kick. A couple of pickles and sauce inside the fluffy top bun. The filet breading was excellent . It had a real nice crisp to it and wasn't greasy at all. There were several pickup orders while I waited for my sandwich, so I assume they've got a website for order ahead. I'll try that next time. Plenty of parking along Main street, either at the curb or one of the various lots. Will definitely come back.
People that actually care about what they're serving and you can taste it. Popcorn chicken are quality whole pieces of chicken and they're made fresh to order. Batter is more like good Popeyes than Taiwanese popcorn chicken. I find myself craving this place. I saw another guy finishing eat one sandwich and got up immediately to order another so I guess I'm not the only one. Only about 4-5 tables but feels neat and orderly inside. Busiest weekday afternoons after the nearby high school lets their prisoners out.
This is such a disappointing place. The food weren't good, service was mediocre, and the place was so empty. We were searching for a quick lunch spot on Main St. and noticed this place so stopped by to check it out. Both of us ordered the Crispy Chicken On Bun combo. My friend got the french fries and I got the macaroni salad. The fries were so soggy and bland. The macaroni salad didn't tasted good. Only reason they got an extra star is because we both liked their signature crispy chicken on bun burger. It was packed with flavor and a good portion. Don't think we will come back here again. We weren't satisfied with our meals.
Ok the Spicy Chicken Bun Bun Sando is legit my top 5 all time. Was really surprised, its Taiwanese style, batter is super crispy, fresh and that spicy level caught me off guard. Comes with their sauce pickles and cabbage. Originally tried the location in Rowland Heights, which has closed now. Place is clean, with enough sitting. Staff was nice, not very talkative, which i have no quarrels with food is yummy. Pro-Tip: Sando is fried fresh, order ahead and save the wait.

Been to a handful of Chicken Bun Bun locations, and they're all pretty consistently good. This one is located in downtown Alhambra. I parked right in front and ordered through the kiosk. Here's what I got: Honey Walnut Shrimp Burger - I think this is a newer item on the menu, and it was delicious. The flavors were great, and the shrimp was tasty. I really liked it. (4.5/5) Spicy Chicken Sandwich - A classic. Delicious, perfectly cooked, and overall very tasty. (4.5/5) Fries - I got a set of fries, and they were tasty. They're heavily seasoned, but crispy and flavorful. (4/5) Overall, I really enjoyed the food here. It's a small restaurant, and at the time I arrived, there was only one worker taking orders and cooking. read more

Great fried Chicken place. We tried a couple of things there and their spicy fried chicken is the best there. Delicious batter and juicy meat. The New Orleans wings were alright. Not the best flavor and smaller than the fried wings. The fries were soggy and the flavor was lacking. The wraps are big and juicy. Great bang for your buck. If you come here definitely get the Spicy Fried Wings, The Wraps, or the chicken burgers! read more

A great chicken sandwich that stood out from the rest! Perfect crisp, great sauce, and amazing spices! Sometimes chicken sandwich can be too salty (i'm looking at you, big chain that doesn't open on sundays) or comes with slaw that is kinda more like a pickle than a slaw. Sometimes they comes with spices, but the meat gets dry or lack flavor (like another big chain that promises cajun flavor). But chicken bun bun is just perfect. Crisp, not too salty, enough amount of acidic on the slaw, great sauce, and the spices are just amazing! The bun on chicken bun bun is also perfect. It's a bit fluffy, has great bite, and it doesn't stick to the roof of your mouth like lots of fast food buns. I ordered chicken strips (great!), chicken sandwich (amazing!) and shrimp walnut sandwich. The texture and flavor blend of the shrimp walnut is just a joy to bite. On my next visit i might not be able to choose between chicken or shrimp, because both are just amazing. But i do know what i will definitely order on the next visit: the fried chicken quarter leg! The batter are perfectly crunchy, not too salty, and the flavor goes deep into the meats. Don't bother ordering the non spicy though, or else you're missing out on the great spicy flavor. Even the medium spicy is still very mild, so be bold and step up a little. read more

Ordered delivery so I cant review their service Got curly fries and the spicy chicken sandwich and it was delicious! It was massive, flavorful, juicy, and tasty. Watch out because it does pack a punch and it is spicy like it says it is. It's spicy for me and I like spicy. I got the special sauce for an extra 60 cents and it was pretty good, nothing amazing. Ordered online for takeout. The guy handed us our food and it was a quick exchange. It's a small place and easy parking in the back. I got the chicken sandwich and the regular French fries. I really liked the chicken sandwich! It was crispy, juicy, and everything in the sandwich just complemented eachother. The fries on the other hand are a skip for me. It just didn't taste well seasoned. Overall the chicken sandwich was good but I don't see myself coming here all the time. read more
Pretty standard fried chicken - good if you want something quick, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this. Loved how tender the popcorn chicken was, but I can definitely tell that the onion rings were previously frozen. I also felt that the batter on the chicken wings fell off a bit to easily but they were also very juicy and moist. Good but not a stand out for me! read more

Stopped by this place for the first time on Saturday, 06/24/23 (around late at night). Dined in and ordered the following via the kiosk: - 1 spicy chicken on bun: $9.99 - 1 french fries: $2.99 Very clean interiors inside and beautiful colors. The burger was okay but not worth the price - I would rather go to In N Out! As for the fries, definitely worth the price. I usually purchase my large fries at Jack in the Box for around over $3. read more
Parking- B Good amount of street parking available on Main St. Unfortunately no private lot or easy front of store parking. Service- A Food came out fresh and fast. Also there are workers constantly cleaning to make sure you get a clean seat and table when you walk in. As a self proclaimed fried chicken sandwich connoisseur, I knew I had to eventually give this place a try. So today, I did. I ordered the spicy dark meat chicken sandwich with a side of fries and let me tell you, the food came out super fresh and piping hot. So fresh and hot in fact that I burned the inside of my mouth when I took my first big bite. I should've know better... The chicken was delightful, tender, and the breading was super crunchy and tasty. I ordered the mild but it lacked any spicy flavor, maybe try the medium if you desire at least a little bit of spice. The fries were crinkle cut which is my favorite type. The fries lacked some type of seasoning that other spicy chicken places usually have but it was still fried to perfection. Ambiance- A Restaurant is clean and and pretty modern. They also have the self serve soda fountains which is always a plus in my book. Price- B+ For a sandwich and a side of fries the total came out to under $13. This compared to other chicken sandwich places is on the lower end. For the quality of chicken, you definitely can't go wrong here. Overall- A- Great overall experience coming here. Not super busy and great place to try out if you're feeling a chicken sandwich. I got a spicy chicken sandwich, mild spice. Chicken was so crispy and juicy loved the thickness of it! It was so delicious!! Simply perfect. 4.75/5 Wish they had more lettuce/veggies incorporated but everything else was amazing! Sweet brioche bun, pickles in a creamy sauce. Simple kiosk ordering, order was ready in 5-7 minutes, not much face-to-face interaction besides the handoff to me. Seems like they have it ready to cook, felt freshly fried. honestly the food here is good not going to lie but honestly like it just takes foreverrrr to get ur food. like im sitting in my chair for like 30 minutes for a popcorn chicken and fries like hello??? but its worth it. and like sometimes when u go in, theyre not even at the front i have to ring a bell like a hotel. but honestly food is good but like if i had the choice i would maybe go somewhere better. good food ok service read more

I ordered a normal chicken combo, and it was a little difficult to order. The combo had a price on it, but getting it on the self-service kiosk has the trap of "soft drink" being an actual drink so that your meal ends up being more than it should be... Make sure to read the items! The self-service kiosk is difficult to manage. The chicken itself tasted good, and the bun was also good. I enjoyed the sweet taste of the veggies and the large size of the soft drink. The waffle fries were good and crispy, though like the chicken, were on the saltier side. read more
