This time we dined in instead of getting takeout. We did have a bit of a wait for our food, but it was well worth it. The biggest difference was the service. Even though we ordered at the kiosk, one of the cashiers noticed we were waiting, greeted us, and made sure we had our drink cups. It was a small gesture, but it made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The inside was clean and a simple set up. It is t big inside but there are quite a few tables to choose from.

The food... I just am not a fan. The galley boy has sweet tartar sauce and barbecue sauce on it, on a sweet roll. I'm not a fan. The regular burger isn't much better, there's no maillard on the burger meat so it is in my opinion just a worse McDonald's burger. And I'm not really a fan of a McDonald's burger either. The onion rings and potato teasers are great, as well as the Ohio drink. My friend got the banana pudding shake that was good as well. But for a place known for their burgers I wouldn't go out of your way unless you like really sweet burgers.

We ordered one pulled pork sandwich and one brisket sandwich with sides of their parsley potatoes, mac-and-cheese, green beans and cole slaw. The brisket was very dry and chewy, so much so that I had to drown it in sauce in order to make it palatable (their hot sauce is pretty good). The pulled pork was kind of bland and neither sandwich had that smoky barbecue flavor we had hoped for. Side portions were served in shallow cups and were a bit stingy for $3.00 each. The parsley potatoes were very bland and in small cubes, almost like hash browns. Green beans were soggy and like canned beans--no bacon, no buttery flavor or seasonings. Mac-and-cheese was okay, even as the server scraped the bottom of the stainless tray to get what obviously was not fresh--in fact, all of the food we got seemed to be the late afternoon, bottom-of-the-tray food...and it was 4:30 in the afternoon, early dinner time. The cole slaw was pretty good and definitely a nice surprise after so much of the rest of the food was so blah. It really hurts to write a negative review of a local business because my wife and I like to support them instead of going to big chain stores and restaurants. We have been trying foods from local businesses as potential caterers for our son's upcoming party, but we regret this will be one place we can't recommend to him.

The wait staff is always very nice and accommodating (we always ask for a big booth near a Keno TV). Never had an issue with the service at this location. There is Keno, pull tabs (hidden by the desk when you first walk in) and plenty of TVs playing. Food: I pretty much get the same thing every time I go; he fried wings. These tenders are second to none. This review would have 5 stars hands down but... I hate their sauces. I am a buffalo sauce person and I have tried their mild, medium, hot, and the only combination I could tolerate was the medium and the mild together. But it's not as much the flavor as it is the texture. It's like water consistency. I like a "stick to your ribs" kinds of sauce. Thick, dunkable where it sticks to the tender. So shhh... but I secretly started sneaking in my own cup of buffalo sauce. Ya know, just little fast food packets of sauce from like McDonalds or something. Although I think they know cause I leave the empty one on the table obviously. My partner got an order of their Thai Chili wings (her favorite) and a crispy chicken salad. She did say that she wished the chicken was cut up for the salad but she still likes it all. Overall: One of favorite places to frequent.
