The pizza here is amazing! Loaded with your toppings. You don't need to hunt for your toppings as they are very generous. Any pizza we have gotten is amazing. You can't go wrong with their pizza. Leonardo's was a fantastic find for me. Since moving into the Fairlawn area, I really needed a solid go to pizza joint for when I need a quick but amazing meal. Leonardo's does hit a home run with the pizza and I will also say that their chicken is incredible. Let's talk about that pizza. This pizza has a thicker crust than what you might expect on a New York style pizza but is thinner than what you would expect on the Chicago pizza. The crust is fluffy in the center but does have a great taste they must use some sort of bread flour and their recipe. Needless to say I love love love the dough. I placed my order over the phone. When I got there, I went in to pay then waited in my car. Due to covid and the size of the shop, no one could wait inside and only two customers were able to be in there at a time. When my food was finished they brought it out to my car. I ordered a small pepperoni and sausage pizza, an Italian sub, and chocolate chip cookies. The smell in my car alone would drive you nuts. Everything was very good. The best part was the cookie. According to the girl, they make them there fresh and only a dollar a piece. They were huge. The staff was very friendly. Everyone wore masks. I may be moving to Fairlawn and wanted to see if this could be my go to pizza place. I have also have a son of the same name, even more enticing. I had a simple pepperoni and cheese, loved it. Would definitely eat their pizza again, try different ones. I also got wings and I'm a big wings guy. I was a bit surprised to see the sauce on the side rather than the wings being saucy already. I liked the hot sauce but not the BBQ which was disappointing. I wouldn't get the BBQ again. The wings were also very salty. I'm not one to complain about salt but it was very noticeable. I'd be willing to try the wings again, I think they've got some other sauces to try. If I find that they're just salty wings, that's how they are, I wouldn't get them a third time. Next time I think I'll get a meatball sub and some other things to try. It's a nice little spot and I'd say to give them a try. read more

Super solid pizza joint. Their pizza is a bit unique, in that it's super cheesy, kinda saucy, and usually delicious! We ordered recently and had a cheese pizza, blackened chicken salad, fried chicken and jojo's, lasagna and garlic bread. (There were a lot of us, don't judge, lol) I had the blackened chicken salad, and I have to say, I wasn't sure about my order, as most places say they blacken things, but really, it's just a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning. Have to say, they absolutely, 100% covered this chicken breast in blackening spice! Really good tasting blackening spice too. Could have used a touch more heat for my tastes, but I'm admittedly a heat chaser, so I'm sure it's fine for most people. The salad was large, and they make their own ranch dressing, and it's pretty bomb! I also snuck a jojo. It's been a while since I've had any of their chicken or jojo's, and I forgot how darned good they are. No pizza for me this night, but as soon said above, their pizza is pretty good! Just ordered my first Leoardo's pizza in a long while. I ordered a large pepperoni. In total the pizza had four slices of pepperoni. I first thought they'd given me a plain pizza by mistake. Because I can't give zero stars? Ordered two pizzas and a salad online tonight for pick up. Confirmation email said the order would be ready in 30 minutes. About 35-40 minutes after ordering, I arrive at the shop to get my food. They can't find my order. After looking for it for about 5 minutes and asking me if it could be under another name, asking me how I placed the order, asking me if I might have ordered from a different Leonardo's, I walked out to my car, got my phone, and showed them my confirmation email. "Oh yeah, now I see your order on our computer system. Let me go into the back and see if I can find it." I'm paraphrasing here, but that's substantially what was said. Two or three minutes later, counter clerk returns with a paper order ticket that looked like it had been in the trash. "Well, you see what happened is your ticket got blown down by the wind in the back and got lost," ??????? What? Wind in the back? What? OK. So what now? "Well, we've got to make your pizzas. It will take 10 minutes or so," Are you kidding? That's your solution to the problem? How about, "We'll make your pizzas as fast as possible and give you 25% off." Or "We'll give you a free dessert," Or "We'll give you a coupon for 50% off your next order." Bad service. Bad organization. No accountability. No thanks. read more

So sad I used to love Leo's cheeseburger pizza. Idk if we t was close to closing time and someone just was going through the motions because they wanted to get out of there. But I ordered a lg. Cheeseburger pizza 10/28 and I couldn't taste anything but mustard and ketchup. To the point that when you touched the cheese mustard and ketchup came oozing out. Even after I used a paper napkin to remove the excess. It still oozed ketchup and mustard when I bit in. Very disappointed. Yum! Yet again Yelp did not let me down! We were visiting town on NYE and decided we wanted to stay in at the hotel and order pizza. They got us our food quickly and were friendly on the phone - and everything was delicious. Nice not to thin not to thick crust, the sauce and toppings were great too! So I will say, the food here is pretty good. If you're all about the food and don't care about service, Leonardo's is a great place. However, the staffing here is very sub-par. 3 times now I have ordered to go and on all 3 occasions, have had to wait longer than necessary because of "mess ups". The first time I ordered, the pizza was just getting "started" as I showed up at the time they told me the pizza would be done. Time #2 I had a larger order in which I got only about half of it followed by their "Have a good day" .. The staff seemed as if they could have cared less and disagreed with me when I explained and showed to them that this wasn't the full order. Luckily the manager was there and took care of me. If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't have gotten the rest of my order. I was HOPING that maybe these two instances were just mishaps, and the food was still good, so I gave them one more chance and low and behold, I walked into Leonardo's and the cashier told me she couldn't sell me the pizza her cook had made because it was very burnt .. So, they started over (which is the right thing to do) and made me a new pizza that was fine. Still ... This place is amazing!!! I honestly have never even tried their pizza because I can't get past ordering their Leo burgers and breaded french fries!! That's right I said breaded french fries as if deep-fried potatoes aren't bad enough now they Bread them! Oh yeah they are that good. The little Leo burgers are like mini burgers almost like a slider but slightly bigger. If any of you remember the hamburger stations burgers that's kind of what they're like except 10 times better. Homemade rolls maybe I don't know but they are amazing eat them and you will agree. I've also tried their salads which are awesome. I know I know I go from a greasy burger and fries to a salad but hey every once in a while we need to eat a little bit better right? Anyway they're supposedly creamy Italian salad dressing is what I get. It's definitely not creamy Italian more like a ranch, but believe me it is the best ranch you've ever had your life. And they give you one of their roles that they make their absolute awesome. On top of it all it's a small business with the owner there every single day, how could you not want to support somebody that actually works every day and doesn't just sit back and collect money?
