I love Chicago style pizza! .. all that cheese and sauce... mm.. And this place does a great job at representing Chicago! I don't know how they can afford to sell a 15lb pizza for 20 bucks, but I'm glad they do.. I'll have food for days off this one pie. Maybe it's not 15lbs.. but this suckers heavy. Your sauce is delicious! I think I'll continue to drive from Akron to get this pizza now that I've had a taste. Loved it! Thanks for existing! read more

The food was edible? So that's something. The pizza was wildly cooked; part looked like raw dough and part was baked. The boneless wings looked raw, but were surprisingly tasty. The Buffalo sauce was what it should be. The bar is set pretty high in this area for local pizza. Overall, not impressed with this spot. 15% chance I would order again. read more

So i ordered pizza and wings for fathers day.....so mixed about this experience, I went to pick up the order there was only one person working the phone ringing off the hook... so on with my experience..., 1)ordered a large sink pizza added meatballs and banana peppers waited for the woman to bring my order....she answered the phone and told someone they couldn't deliver because she didn't have a delivery person....he was setting on the bench waiting with his red insulated delivery bag. 2)she brought my order LOOKED at the receipt and i was out the door when i got to the car i looked at the pizza and saw no veggies on it so I walked back in and asked...they made the wrong pizza but she looked at the receipt and knew it was wrong ....sink was on the receipt anyway i waited another 20 minutes till it got done....they did nothing about it not even an apology...but after all she lied about not having a delivery person...no big deal not out for freebies any way.... 3)so the pizza over all was good the toppings were adequate maybe a little more sauce would have been nice... but the wings not so much i don't know what brand of sauce they use but it was good although a bit spicy...for me was it ok my wife not so much....they were your typical rubbery type wing you get from Dominoes or Pizza Hut 4)pizza I'd give an 8...wing sauce a 9....wings a 2...i will order pizza from here again at some point...but forget about the wings... read more

I am not a professional food critic, but I love great tasting food, especially pizza. I've eaten pizza from around 10 pizza establishments in the Akron and Kent area and in Cleveland. Every city I travel to I always try to go to their best pizza place. I've eaten Chicago deep dish pizza at Giordano's in Chicago and Tampa and Gino's East in Chicago. I ordered a Chicago style pie with mozzarella cheese, red sauce, pepperoni, bacon, and hand pinched sausage. I would say this pizza is better than most pizzas in the Akron/Kent area. Each ingredient worked together to create a good tasting pizza. I'd get another Chicago pie from here. read more

The single star is for creative naming of their product. The flavor was adequate. Pizza was cold. It arrived 30 minutes after the promised 65. Never again. read more

Have been supporting local businesses, so decided to give 3 Guys a try based on good Yelp reviews. We ordered a deep dish pizza but sadly we were disappointed. The crust/dough was like cardboard and there was very little cheese. Noticed after the fact that all the good reviews are years old. In fact, they only have one review above 3 stars in the past 2 years. read more

Ordered, waited an hour, called asked what was up, they said it was on the way, called a half hour later they told me they gave it to the wrong food runner? Then they cancelled the order and my credit card was still charged. Food might be great I'm not sure they just cancelled the order as if we hadn't been waiting nearly two hours for our food. read more

Where to begin. I fancy my self a pizza critic. I have had pizza from most places in the Akron area. I ordered the Chicago Style Pie with Pepperoni chunks, sliced meatballs, Italian sausage and roasted garlic. The pizza was at least 3 inches thick. The crust was perfect. It was so full of toppings and cheese that I could only eat one and a half slices. This is saying a great deal for me. I love pizza. They delivered the pizza and it was nice and hot and not mushy. I hate Chicago pizza that the crust is soggy. This was not. One of the most impressive things was when I heated it for lunch the next day it was just as good as when they delivered it. Job well done. read more

As a vegan it is hard to find good places to get pizza, but this place was amazing and has so many different vegan options. Would defiantly recommend ! read more

This is literally the best pizza I've ever had in my life. It isn't cheap whatsoever but it's so damn good. Obviously get the deep dish with pepperoni and LAVA CAKE read more

Fantastic deep dish pizza! Thick and full of toppings they really tasted homemade! The meatball sub was great as well. One of the owners was making pizzas and let us know that the meatball sub was the best and he was right! Thanks Kevin we will be back! read more

When it comes to Chicago style pizza outside of the Windy City, this is the most authentic it gets. From the sauce, to the toppings, cheese and crust, everything is done right. read more

The Chicago style pizza is amazing. I had to commit the cardinal pizza sin and start with a fork. It's a lot of pizza; I'll have leftovers for days. I'll definitely order again. UPDATE: the pizza passes the 0th (zeroth, it's that important) criterion of good pizza, which is "is it good cold the next morning for breakfast?". read more

Hands down the best pizza in Akron!! I would recommend the Chicago style pizza, it had to weigh at least 5 pounds. Lots of flavor and they were very generous with the extra cheese and toppings! Seriously don't waste your money anywhere else read more

If I can do 0 stars I would! I ordered a pizza, cheese sticks and 8 piece boneless wings. Cheese sticks was over cooked, pizza tasted like a frozen pizza and the BONELESS WINGS WERE THE WORST!!! They were literally the size of a quarter or nickel it was hard to chew. That's what I get for trying a new place lol read more

Very good Chicago style pizza! My girlfriend and I had a craving, and we were not even the slightest bit disappointed. It made for a great breakfast too. I can't wait to come back. It might be my new favorite Akron pizza place. read more

I'm no pizza expert, nor would I listen to anyone who claimed to be. But I can declare, "that was a damn fine pizza". I will be back for more. read more

I was in Tallmadge helping a relative move, needed pizza, tried this place and I am very glad that I did. All of the pizza I had was good (bought about 4) but the Chicago style pizza was the star. It is not easy to find legit Chicago style pizza outside of the city but these guys do a very respectable job. I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had, but for the speed and price, there is simply nothing to complain about. Honestly this might be the best Chicago style I've had in Ohio, nothing fancy, just well done. Much loved from all of the people to dug into it. Really friendly guy who sold it to me as well. Garlic bread was very solid as well. Easy recommendation for take out. read more

Real chicago deep dish!!!!!!! Pizza rolls outstanding as well!!!! Worth the drive to the otherside of town. read more

Just ok pizza no Chicago or NYC but we are in Chicago and that's good stuff for Chicago

This used to be our go to place for pizza. Not sure if that will remain so. The food is good. But tonight we had a horrible experience with them. In full disclosure, we ordered through UberEats because that's the only way we can get their delivery to us. We ordered two Chicago style pizzas and one 2-liter of soda. The driver showed up with one of the pizzas, period. He claimed 3 Guys didn't give him the soda--but I made him call 3 Guys from my place and as soon as he identified himself, they said, "You didn't take their soda." But the restaurant insisted their order only had only pizza even though our order showed two of the pizzas. They said it was Uber's foul up and we'd have to deal with them if we were unhappy. I ended up getting reimbursed from Uber but the person from 3 Guys really could have been more helpful than just saying it was Uber's fault. Also, Uber says 3 Guys sent us the wrong order. read more

I love the deep dish pizza, but dear lord these guys have the most irregular hours I've ever encountered. You never know when they are going to be open or closed even though the hours are posted on here and the website. But the deep dish pizza is absolutely amazing, I like to order delivery from them if it's open, once at week at least. read more

The deep dish pizza was amazing!!! Ever since I went to Chicago I have wanted to get deep dish pizza for my family to try but have never found anything to compare until 3 guys ! Oh my it was amazing and maybe even better reheated if that's possible..,,, read more

Authentic deep dish. We had Chicago deep dish earlier this summer, and this was very similar. They model after Giodonos, so they have a top sauce crust. I like the actual crust better too, the Gino's we had was cornmeal and it falls apart and gets soggy easily, making leftovers difficult. The deep dish takes about 20 min per cook, FYI. Clean and cool staff. read more

I just ordered the Chicago style pizza and it is wonderful...Very hot when it arrived and the sauce and cheese were amazing..the only negative was that I ordered it well done.(I like crispy crust..and the crust was pretty soggy..I realize that with a deep dish pizza like that it might be a little mushy but this was really wet...still the taste was amazing!!! That is the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating!! read more
