My new go to pizza place when in town but unfortunately that's not often but I'll be sure to have it again. Great pizza and overall experience. On top of ordering the pizza we ordered their garlic bread it wasn't exactly what I had imagined but it still is good. No wait staff made things move faster with ordering up front than grabbing a seat at a table and then they brought it to us. 1 little detail I noticed that didn't really affect us but would help with a bigger group was that the pitcher was labeled with the type of pop we had ordered. My family and I haven't had Rocco's in years so we decided to try it again tonight. I had a cheese pizza and I got extremely sick. The pizza was hard yet very greasy. A family member got chicken and it was so dry you could see from across the table it was over cooked. Two family members had subs and said they were ok (hence the two stars). Got their 2 large pizza for $24.95, get there to pick up and see that their large pizzas are actually sized small. Like, small, small. So astonished they are claiming it as large. But putting that aside, still wanted to give it a chance. It was not good, no flavor, hard crust, just awful. Many people like this place. I don't get it. I have tried it twice in about 5 years. Ordered pepperoni pizza and fried chicken and JoJo's. Both times very small pieces of chicken compared to other places. JoJo's slices as small as french fries and they only give you 8 of them with 4 PC. chicken. What a disappointment. I was born and raised in Brooklyn. I am picky with pizza. can it be? good pizza in Ohio? yes, indeed. you can thank the waves of Italian immigrants who put roots down in northeast Ohio (one branch of my family included) for this. my cousin recommended this place for us to grab lunch at, and I was certainly not let down. classic pizzeria menu (oh, dat dimly-lit menu) with just the basics, no fancy-shmancy insane toppings. some other options like sandwiches, wings, garlic knots, and salads on the menu too. prices seemed fair. the white pizza totally hit the spot. olive oil, tomatoes, garlic, and onions. the veggies were fresh, the cheese was plentiful without being overbearing, and the dough was crisp without being too thin or too thick. interestingly, they cut it into a lot of smaller slices versus the usual 8. pretty good if you just need one more tiny piece to knock out the hunger! I also sampled a bottle of their own brand of vanilla cream soda. nice and refreshing on a hot muggy day! friendly staff and plenty of seating too. definitely worth it if in the area! read more

Didn't try their pizza but saw outside that they had a deal for fish and chips so I had to come in. They have crinkle fries which were delicious and crispy. I haven't seen them for years so it was nice to see some places still supply them. The deal included some Cod and boy were they delicious! A combination of crispy and fluffy and the portion they give you was definitely enough for two people. I am so pleased and satisfied! The only thing that was my downfall for this place was it didn't look busy and there were 3 workers and some of the tables were still dirty. Overall, food was good and I definitely want to try their pizza next time. read more

Rocco's has the best pizza in Ohio. Hands down. I recently was heading over to a friends house to watch a football game. I used to live in the Falls so while I was on my way I called in an order for pickup. I ordered my usual. A large meat pizza with onions and triple cheese. I showed up about 5min before the pizza was done. The owner realized that he had forgotten to put the onions on the pizza. I told him it wasn't a big deal and he insisted I take a 2 liter of pop on the house for the mistake. It's the 1st time they ever got my order wrong. I've ordered from them a lot so I wasn't upset. But it's little gestures like this that keep people coming back. I miss being able to get Rocco's whenever I want. I wish they'd open up a shop here in Parma. Parma is known for their mom and pop pizza joints. Rocco's would instantly jump to the top here. read more

Anyone who has grown up or lived in Cuyahoga Falls knows about Rocco's pizza....The original is on Portage Trail, the 2nd opened on Graham, both places have been making pies for local residents since I remember eating pizza in the 70's....I'm just gonna review the Pizza, but there is nothing on the menu that will disappoint....Personally have had meatball subs (awesome), italian subs(again awesome) but I always order the pizza when I visit because it brings me back to my childhood....I ordered a large sausage ($10.75)....price is reasonable, we ordered the pizza for our drive home to Columbus, the pizza was gone before we were out of Akron!! Rocco's cheese and sauce is very good, I grew up on it and still consider it one of the best pizza places I've visited...The cheese sauce ratio is on point, just a bit of grease - don't let that scare you away, if you are health conscious just pat it with a napkin, those of you that don't mind the grease...Enjoy....Crust is excellent, thinner crust, definitely not Chicago style, closer to East Coast...If you like to fold your pizza when you devour it than you will enjoy the Rocco's slices......Not sure how long Rocco's has been in business but I'm guessing at least 50 years...visited the Portage Trail location regularly when I was a teenager and the quality of the pizza has remained excellent over the years...Also want to mention Rocco's sheet pizza's which have been regular at birthday parties, holiday's and Cuyahoga Falls High School banquet's as long as I can remember....The sheet pizza's are excellent....easily feed 6-10 people....cost is about $22....If you are in Cuyahoga Falls please visit Rocco's Pizza, the place is a local institution, no frills just great food....Enjoy!! read more

I went to Rocco's web site to see the menu and prices. The small lasagna was listed as $19.95, but when I picked it up, the guy said I owe $24.95. When I questioned him, he said their site hadn't been updated "for a long time." Seems the owners are not tech savvy, which is understandable. Still, I was disappointed and a bit miffed that the pizza guy still charged me the $24.95. The bottom line is that if you have a web site, you need to check it often to make sure the information is correct. Oh, and the lasagna was really good. Ordered and paid on app from their parking lot. App said "order processed" allow 30 min. So after sitting in parking lot for 30 min staring at the workers, went in for food and worker said they didn't have our order ready due to issues w their app all night, so could see order but not details. We said we have been sitting literally 3 ft from your front door staring at you for 30 min, you couldn't call us or come out and question us?? Worker said their manager told them to just wait til we came in to pick up our food. WHAT??!! We sat right here staring at you 6 ft from your counter for 30 min!! No apology, no offer of discount for inconvenience, not their fault if app was glitchy they said. Would have to re-order food. Asked them to discount since we now have to wait again. They called manager and loudly said" she wants a discount". Discount one whole dollar was the reply. Shame on you Roccos and shame on you for charging those prices for pencil thin jojos! So i recently moved to springhill. I am a fanatic about Italian food. Growing up with all Italians and being an Italian chef myself for over 10 years i have high expectations when eating at Italian restaurants that claim too be authentic. Ive been seeing this place every time i go to publix and it seems pretty busy, even reviewed the reviews before going last night. So i called my daughter and said let's meet here, 3 adults 2 children. Upon walking in we were promtly seated the restaurant was just starting to get busy. Our server was promt in greeting us and taking drink orders. They definitely had no Italian ambience going on as they were playing 80s rock, (first time ive ever been in an Italian restaurant without Italian music singers at least playing). Upon our drinks coming i explained to our server it was our first time and asked for recommendations, now finding out he is the owners son i was extremely shocked at the lack of recommendations and the nonchalant i don't care attitude he provided. I decided to order the chicken parm with linguini with a cup of pasta fagioli and then the rest ordered a pizza to share. I was shocked to see them deliver a tiny sesame seed roll enough for 1 person to the table for 5 people to share. The food was delivered in a reasonable time. Pasta fagioli was the worst i ever had, it was real watery, had some kind of bitter vinegar taste which ive never had before with that soup and no flavor at all. The dinner i ordered the marinara was extremely watery and lacked even the most basic of Italian flavors very bland, the chicken itself was nice portion and had decent flavor. They did not even serve the pasta with a spoon or a knife i had to ask which the server was rude and i was delivered a teaspoon and butter knife They brought the pizza out, it was not cut all the way through i asked the server to bring it back to cut it for us he said he's not allowed to take it back and brought us ANOTHER butter knife to cut pizza with. But i will admit the pizza was great. Asking for refills on our water made us feel like we were inconveniencing him, his constant rudeness was getting very irritating. He came and asked us if we wanted dessert we ordered the little fried dough balls with powder sugar and what is supposed to be a chocolate dipping sauce. They took 20 minutes to get our dessert the balls were very tough and the chocolate sauce was in fact cold Hershey syrup, completely nasty eating that as a dessert sauce. The best thing he did was bring me my check, i couldn't wait to get away from our server his lack of customer service skills was awful. I would not recommend this place for their dinners or dine in experience at all but i would recommend their pizza. read more

I ordered a plain cheese pizza. Once home I discovered that its predominant seasoning is salt. It's bad. Love Rocco's I am simple with the cheese pizza and my son enjoys the pepperoni great salads

I've been eating pizza at Rocco's since they opened the first one in the early 60's on Portage Trail. I go to the one on Graham Rd now because it's more convenient. If you're worried about cholesterol, you may have problems because the sausage and pepperoni they use has fat in it, and will grease up your pizza. BUT the flavor comes from the fat, and that is what makes Rocco's pizza so flavorful. The staff is always friendly and when I call in for a pickup, it's always ready a couple of minutes ahead of time. It the best pizza place in the area bar none! read more

There pizza is ok but this time I ordered the lasagna with meatballs and I was very disappointed. No riccotta cheese in it at all and they left out my meatballs so all I had after a very hard day was a paper thin lasagna (if you can call it that) of 3 lasagna noodles with 2 very thin slice of mozzarella cheese, covered in sauce.
