Totally Baked is my favorite pizza shop! First off, the pizza is outstanding. I went with the Chong, a traditional pepperoni pizza with crisp crust, rustic pizza sauce and a ton of pepperoni. If you're feeling a little more adventurous, I definitely recommend the Danny Trejo, a pork carnitas pizza with a number of other fresh ingredients. There was a couple seated next to me and the lady was raving about a meatball dish calling it the best she's ever had. Chef John definitely knows his way around the kitchen! Totally Baked is active in the community, always looking for ways to give back. They are a local establishment and use nothing but fresh ingredients. A lot of people get carry out, but you can also eat in as they have a very chill and relaxing seating area. Make sure to get the lucid lemonade. The flavor changes daily. If you're looking for some good pizza in Akron, this is the place. The restaurant itself is decorated for the theme and staff were attentive and friendly. The pizza was the highlight though! Boyfriend and I ordered the Mike Tyson and Chong pizzas (10in) which was the perfect size for our "garden" session. A little bit bigger than personal sized so you have some left over for later. The pork belly on the Mike Tyson was cooked perfectly giving it a bacon-like taste and the creamy sauce on top was delicious. My boyfriend enjoyed the cup and char pepperoni on the Chong. Crust is always an issue with me and I'd say this is a top tier crust with how soft and chewy it was. Come for the good vibes and stay for the pizza! We took a chance at work once with pizza, and it was L-O-V-E at first bite! Their take on pizza here is really freaking amazing! The dough is perfecto! Plenty of stuff on the pizza to satisfy anyone! Okay, better late than never! I was at Totally Baked for lunch back in November 2023. (At the time, I couldn't post this review or share photos or my friends and family would have known I snuck into the great state of Ohio without making plans to visit them. Whoops! Sorry!) I got the Danny Trejo. As someone who now lives in Texas I'd consider myself a salsa and carnitas snob, and this really could stand up against the best of the best. The menu names, the murals, and vibe of the restaurant was so fun--albeit a little small (lunch was fine, but dinner might not be a good dine-in time). The service was great! Holy. Shit. This pie is AMAZING!!! I'm not kidding. We kept smelling this pie all over downtown Akron and found ourselves walking into Akron's best kept secret. You have GOT to try the Mike Tyson!!! While you wait for your pie, do yourself a favor and check out Baxters Speakeasy (attached to Totally Baked). Such a cool vibe and they'll let you enjoy your pizza while you take it all in. I will most definitely be back for more! The only downside is that the service isn't quick and the kitchen is small so depending on how busy they are, it may take a while for your pizza to be done. read more

Let me start by saying if you don't wana be obsessed with a pizza... don't try it lol!!! The first time I went I was torn between two pizzas. The John Belushi and a regular pepperoni and I asked the owner/chef as he works there regularly. I really don't like pizza. I eat it about 4 times a year, well I did. The owner (who has a wonderful personality!!) told me, "whatever you get, you'll love it because I make them". Okay, I thought. Let's go with John Belushi, I love a good gyro. This pizza gets brought out and I definitely made a face . It didn't really look like my type of pizza, it was made with lettuce and said it was the wrong one. Haha it was not. So I decided I paid for it.. ima try it. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I won't get anything else!! It is the best damn pizza I have ever had. There's one pizza I've had in my almost 32 years of life that is even at this level! The place is really small, there is a bar next door that you can eat in. First time, they made us a completely different pizza (I'm pretty sure it was someone else's pizza sitting at the bar). Like, not even close with the toppings. The second time we ordered a few subs. Despite being assured they would "deliver" them to us at the bar (a thing they do, not a special request), they did not. After an hour... I went to ck on my order only to find the two subs wrapped in foil and sitting atop the pizza oven! Here me out guys........ Here.me.out. Peanut butter and jelly pizza. Sounds weird but the Scooby and shaggy pizza is legit one of the best pizzas I've ever had. It's a buttery crunchy pan pizza with peanut butter sauce, bacon, smoked meat, onions and topped with grape jelly and chocolate chips. I couldn't get enough of it. I ate half right away and ate the other half cold later that night. I've had regular pizza from all over and I'm a big fan but this was different, original and just inspired man I just can't recommend it enough. My wife and kid didn't like it too much so it's not for everyone but man I just can't wait until I get another. All the other menu items looked awsome to so don't sleep on this place on account of this one pie. So this was my first time trying this pizza! And I was disappointed. My pizza was burnt on the bottom both of them. The pizza was very thick and kind of hard to eat. The pepperoni was also good but spicy. I felt like there was too much dough or maybe they skimped on the sauce, I'm not sure. It didn't taste complete or cooked well. They do look just like the pics on doordash though. I would recommend this place for its excellent and kind staff. Also the restaurant is a vibe. Tired of the same old places? Try something new! You'll be glad you did! Recently ordered from Totally Baked Pizza through a third party delivery service. Not sure what everyone else's experience has been, but we usually order through third parties, and are not overly impressed with the results. I am happy to report that this was not our experience ordering from Totally Baked. We ordered the Cheech (cheese pizza) the Chong (cheesy pepperoni) and the G-Knots, which is basically a super thick pizza crust with garlic oil, cheese and crushed red peppers. So the first thing that hit us, these boxes were heavy. Like really, really heavy. I didn't know what my wife had ordered at this point to be honest, and as I was carrying the pizza to the kitchen I joked that we had received a complimentary brick in one of the boxes. We opened them up, and to say that they were generous with the toppings would be an understatement. It's like they forgot how much pepperoni was supposed to go on a pizza, and just doubled (maybe even tripled for some of the chain pizzerias out there) the amount that you would normally get. The cheese pizza too... ever order extra cheese on your pizza, and know what you expect to get, but then are disappointed? Not this pie! Ooey Gooey cheese atop a thick, but well baked crust, with thick, rustic tomato sauce. Holy cow! The pepperonis on the other pie were all crisp and cupped, the way it's supposed to be! Holy smokes! We actually had to re-cut the pizzas just to get the pieces out of the box, but not because it wasn't cut through, it was! But all that cheese was so hot, it reattached to itself. So now, the pizza is cut, and my wife went to go pull it out of the box, and I witnessed something I have never, ever seen from a delivered pie... a thick cheese pull from both sides of the piece. I was amazed! I thought that was just for commercials! But no! You can get a real deal pizza, right in the privacy of your own home! Yes! I'll skip ahead from all the additional superlatives I'd like to hype on these pizzas, and skip right to the eating. I had the pepperoni, and it was absolutely wonderful! Spicy little crispy pepperonis, a little smoke flavor, a bit of a zing from the sauce, and that crispy, soft, pillowy but somehow firm crust.... Yowza! I never did try the cheese, but I was assured it was equally tasty, minus the crunchy little pork bombs. The G-knots were really good too, but prepare yourself for a lot of garlic. I really love garlic, but after eating that, I won't worry about Dracula for at least a week. But it worked! My goodness, who knew you could make garlic bread with real garlic? I'll tell ya who, Totally Baked Pizza! That's who! I really hope Akron embraces its newest pizza shop, and nothing I sampled makes me think they won't. And the craziest thing, we ate the most vanilla things on the menu. I can only imagine how great the creative toppings on their other signature pies work. I hope to find out very soon! read more
