This is an update. I've been ordering small one topping pizzas for a little while and tonight I ordered a large one topping pizza and 12 jumbo wings with a coupon for $28.50. The wings are JUMBO. I'd have half were jumbo and the other half were normal size. The chicken meat is tender and falls off the bone. The skin has a little crunch and crisp to it. The sauce is generous. The pizza is better than when I first tried it 9 years ago. I go to the Newton St. location. The cheese is milky and stringy. The pepperoni is generous. The sauce is sweet. The pie the soft and chewy the inside and if they cook the pizza just right then the crust is has a gentle crisp to it. Sometimes the pizza is undercooked and the crust is doughy. I would definitely recommend the wings and pepperoni pizza. read more

I love the Newton St. Fiesta Pizza and have been going there for over 50 years. The problem now is the food is hit or miss. My favorite in the sausage and pepperoni pizza with a side of jo-jos. Last visit it was a hit and the pizza was up to par as were the jo-jos. Prior to that the pizza was terrible. The sausage was awful. It tasted old and with freezer burn. I stopped going thare for over a year. I don't know what the problem is. I have ordered the fried chick a few times but was leary about the sausage pepperoni pizza because of the 'hit or miss'. read more

Been buying pizza from this estblishment since the early sixties. Must say I was very disappointed with my last order of a large pepperoni and sausage pizza. The pizza was soggy and limp. It has always been covered with so much crumbled sausage that you couldn't see the pepperoni, but not this time. It lacked the crispness and pepperoni too, that has always been their trademark. It will be a long while before I return. Fiesta was always my 'go to' pizza shop and there are a 1/2 dozen other places that I pass on they way there that I will have to try. Tried this place for the first time in hopes of finding a new, regular, local spot as I was tired of everything in the Firestone Park area. This place and experience was everything I was hoping to find! I got pizza, chicken and a couple sides. One side were the potato teezers, which are identical to Swensons, so that was awesome because I freaking love those things!! And fried mushrooms, which were good. All the food was great!! Fair prices, i wish it were a little cheaper, but it's in line with most places in the area. Great service, speed, etc. Very pleased, all around. Definitely my new go-to!! read more

Pizza was great but I think they need to remove the "chicken" from the name. Maybe change the name to Fiesta Pizza and JoJo's. Order some JoJo's on the side. I never asked what JoJo's were or why they were called JoJo's... (if someone knows, please reply)... just read it on the menu and ordered them. Anything called JoJo's had to be unique and different. When I opened the box I was initially sorta disappointed because they looked like regular large cut fries. Then I bit into one... they were amazing... seasoned and crunchy on the outside and buttery and creamy on the inside. This is a review from me, if my husband was reviewing this it's would be 6 stars from him. I on the other hand didn't really care for Fiesta. I've tried it twice, first time didn't eat mine at all as the pepper rings were so hot (they should let you know they aren't mild) but I also can't stand the ground up sausage. I know some might like it, I'm not one! So I threw my whole pizza and JoJo's out for the crows. Second time I just had my husband get me a small pepperoni and double cheese. It was just okay. I will give Fiesta this.... they are NOT selfish with their toppings. You get what you pay for. Sorry, forgot to take photos... wouldn't have helped anyway as my husband let my pizza slip off the other boxes and half my double cheese was glued to the box... lol read more

I love Fiesta, my parents have been going since the 80's and we still go now 40 years later. The pizzas are delicious they have a fantastic sauce recipe and the cheese is perfect with scoop pepperoni. The chicken wings here are my absolute favorite I love them. 10/10 recommend. read more

One of my menu favorites! Have you ever walked in and heard someone hammering loudly in the back of the shop? That is the guy tenderizing a real ribeye steak for a sandwich. There's nothing quite like Fiesta Pizza. People who have lived in Goodyear Heights for any amount of time know that. It is hands down, the best pizza, the best, most delicious, moist, tender, pressure-fried chicken and the biggest, fluffiest, tastiest jo-jos anywhere. I'm not quite sure if it's the recipes, the equipment, or the people (or that magical combination of all those elements amalgamated) that make it special, but you can be sure that I never would be able to duplicate it anywhere else. The large pizza is a scant 12". It's just tradition. You won't find it to be the least expensive pie, either. That's a good thing, because running specials and coupons is not necessary to keep business pouring in, year after year. read more

We have been going here since the 70's and food was always consistent. Terry made sure of it. We have not lived in the area for years but always stop when we are. May 2017 something wasn't quite right with the pizza. Gave it another shot today and the pizza was totally different and not good at all! They have changed and are no longer using the pepperoni flavored pizza sauce that made the special taste. Crust was big and fat and not the same. The chicken and jojos were different. The sauce tasted a little off for me. I will say however, that the crust is very good. I finished it because I paid for it but I'll probably never get the pizza again. I remember Fiesta Pizza being very good. Unfortunately, my recent visit changed my mind. How can you screw up a pepperoni pizza? Just ask the folks at Fiesta. Wow! Center of the pizza was simply a soggy, grease soaked, soupy sauce disaster! The rest of the pizza was too light on sauce confirming the center sauce disaster. They were not busy, yet it took 35 minutes for the worst pizza I've ever had. My kids wouldn't eat it! They think pizza out of a can is delicious! Fiesta Pizza and Chicken, Newton Street Location - my favorite pizza, ever, in my life. I love pizza, and have eaten it all across the country & even in Europe & Australia. I live in San Francisco now, and we have all manners of great food and the occasional good pizza - but this Fiesta location in Akron, Ohio is my favorite. A few things you should know about this Fiesta Pizza. They are part of a dwindling chain, but there are subtleties at this location, that seem a little different. There is no delivery, and you can't eat there - it's take out only. They have pizza. They have chicken. They have Jo-Jo's. They have cole slaw. That's it. The pizza: A Fiesta Pizza for me has pepperoni and maybe sausage. The pepperoni is exceptional. Small disks of the spiced meat are placed about the pie, and it curls up as the edges crisp in the oven. Pools of grease reside in the savory little cups (if that's too much for you, I recommend you dab it with a paper towel). They probably don't realize this, but they are one of only a handfull of places I've found that do pepperoni like this, and it's phenomenal. The sausage is also a unique experience. It's fine and crumbly. When you get a pizza with sausage, it's like a layer of sausage. It's quite good, and unlike anywhere else. I don't screw around with other toppings other than the occasional hot (banana or yellow pepper, in the midwest), which goes pretty well with the sausage. A friend who likes mushrooms, used to go to Fiesta after he got off work delivering pizza, because the mushrooms were fresh instead of canned. The cheese on a Fiesta Pizza is thick and delicious. In gluttonous modes, extra cheese is an over the top experience. Extra cheese is especially good on cold Fiesta Pizza. The sauce Fiesta uses is slighly sweet, slightly tangy, and very smooth. I like that. If I want chunks of tomato on my pizza, I'll order some chunks of tomato. I want tomato sauce, and Fiesta's does just fine. OF course, Fiesta also offers delicious fried chicken. The breading is crispy, spicy, and less batter-y than a place like KFC or Church's. IT comes out very juicy. The Akron area does a pretty good fried chicken, and Fiesta is no exception. Indigenous to the midwest, I believe, is the concept of the Jo-Jo potato. Jo-Jo's are breaded, but not battered, fried chunks of skin on potatoes. They are delicious, especially the small ones, and Fiesta's are particularly good. Like the chicken, they are fried until dark. Be careful, the big ones are center of the earth hot in the middle when they come out. I also like the cole slaw at Fiesta. It has a strange color and sharp flavor, but it's easy to go through a pint among friends. I haven't live in the Akron area for almost a decade, but when I go back to visit, I hit Fiesta with 24 hours. It's comforting, most of the same people are there from when I did my paper route in the neighborhood 25 years ago, and helps provide me some stability when so much else changes around town. I don't care what those crazy Barbertonians say, THIS is the best fried chicken around! I've been eating their chicken & jojos since I was a kid. The seasoning on the chicken is awesome and the insides are juicy. The pizza is always good too. I enjoy that the cheese is nice and strong and flavorful. The pepperoni is thick cut and curls up on the edges and holds the grease; it's just plain gluttonous. The jojos are awesome too. Always friendly staff. There are no tables here, it's take out only. After you get your chicken, take it next door to Tip 'Em Up Tavern and get a beer to go with it. It's a pretty cool place to hang out. read more
