    Burnt and hard

Atmosphere: Honestly, this rating has nothing to do with the atmosphere. It's a hole in in the wall but some of the best places are. But it appears to be a clean hole in the wall so no complaints or compliments on the atmosphere. Food: I just moved to North Canton and I LOVE to try new pizza places. Especially New York style. I did try this pizza once in Feb before my bad experience and I LOVED it. The greasy, cheesy, fold in a hotdog style kind of pizza. I loved it so much that I had to show it off so other could experience this amazing pizza. So that's what I did. The very same week. We ordered a pepperoni, mushroom and extra cheese for pick up. I picked it up and I walk in and the boy making my pizza goes realizes that he forgot to put in the pizza. He says "No problem will take one of these pepperoni pizzas (that were about done) add mushrooms and the extra cheese on it and throw it back in." I even told this kid that I would wait for a whole new one cause I already had a bad feeling about it. He does exactly what he said he was going to do. I gotta get to work so I trust that it is fine and I go. When I open the pizza, the toppings are just falling off this rock hard, burnt dough. The mushrooms were raw and rubbery and the cheese is cooked uneven because they put more cold cheese on top of an almost done pepperoni pizza. Not to mention you can't even see the pepperoni because now it's underneath the added cheese and mushrooms. I was so embarrassed that I hyped this pizza up as much as I did. Some people didn't even try to eat it, others ate it in a bowl like a disgusting unevenly cooked casserole. I called and talked to the kid that made my pizza just expecting to get a free replacement pizza on a future day. That is not what I got. I got gaslighting, blaming statements and rude, sarcastic, passive aggression (more like just plain aggression actually). He pretty much told me that if I wanted it remade, I could bring back the untouched pizza right then and he would remake it. I told him I obviously can't just leave work and it is not untouched. It was for 5 STARVING people. You expect not one of those over 200 pound men not to put that shit in a bowl and try to eat what they can? He then proceeded to tell me "So what it sounds like to me is that because you got extra cheese, this is what happened." No kid, are you telling me that not one of your other customers get extra cheese without having to eat their pizza out of a bowl? This is why it happened and what you did about it 1. You put cold cheese and cold mushrooms on top of an already done pepperoni pizza 2. You burnt the dough to oblivion 3. Gaslighted me telling me it was MY fault for getting extra cheese 4. Got great enjoyment on your little power trip of refusing to do anything to compensate 5. Never said sorry ONCE What he did say was that if I wanted I could call the owner which of course I planned to do just that. Unfortunately, I had to go to Tampa on business and just got back so I knew calling now was probably useless for something that happened 3 weeks ago. Dude, all you had to do to make me happy was replace my pizza on a different day. I obviously can't clock out and leave work. Be a human, bro. The quality of food means nothing when the customer service is crap. That is probably why they are rated so low on Yelp. I can throw a rock from my house and it land in their parking lot. I loved their pizza the first time I had it and planned on being a regular a couple times a week. Now I will never go back.

We FINALLY found a place that makes Detroit style pizza!!! We absolutely will be back because this was incredibly delicious!! I'm from the metro Detroit area and grew up eating Buddy's and Jet's and have been longing for some yummy pizza here in NE Ohio. So glad we found Camellone!!!

The best Detroit style pizza. Friendly staff and has always been ready on time. Their salad dressing is amazing too.

Great pizza that tasted homemade. Meatball sub was one of the best I've ever had. My whole family enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back.

We had the pepperoni rolls which were delicious especially with the red sauce they served with it. Their fresh bread was good. My wife really enjoyed the pepperoni salad. I thought it was good but the banana peppers tasted pickled which i didn't care for. We had the Bianca pizza, which was a flatbread not round and it had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. This was the only downside. We did see almost everyone else get the spaghetti and meatballs. Service was great and we were well taken care of.

We arrived five minutes early but were promptly seated. Our sever was adequate but not real personable. After being seated we were moved to another table but that is fine. Our food arrived within fifteen minutes which is quick in my opinion. I ordered Eggplant Parmesan with Penne pasta. We started with bread and dipping oil. The bread was soft and not made in house and the oil was good. The eggplant was crispy, warm and good although a little soggy in the middle. The pasta was warm at best and there was some dried sauce on top. The pasta was done but needed more sauce. All in all it was just okay. My wife ordered Boston Scrod and said it was as cold and had some seasoning on it. She added it did not have a lot of taste. The pasta that she ordered with the Scrod was cold. The other couple we were with received a sausage Stromboli which was not the original version they ordered. The restaurant just opened so they may be working out their processes, I don't know.

The restaurant itself felt run-down -- chipped and dirty plates, wobbly tables, and staff loudly arguing in the back. At one point it seemed like our server may have quit mid-service. We received no drink refills and virtually no service beyond our food being dropped off at the table. Every dish arrived cold and disappointing. My grilled chicken was the frozen kind you buy pre-packaged at the store. My husband's steak was mostly fat, and my father-in-law's steak was barely six ounces. The lobster mac and cheese was bland and had no noticeable lobster. To top it off, our table of adults was given a single steak knife to share. Not a single table in the restaurant appeared to be enjoying their meals. After paying nearly $200 -- with no apology or attempt to make things right -- we left and went to another restaurant just to have dinner. Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.

The service was a little slow as well, went about 4:00 before the dinner rush and it was not busy, can't imagine if it was busy. But does not mean i would not go back.
