One of my favorite pizza spots in Ohio. The three-day fermented dough is chewy with crispy edges. The pepperoni and mozzarella are top tier. Staff is all very friendly. Love this spot!

It's a cool concept that really works. It basically takes the space used for deli Ohio during the day, and turns it into a pizza place with the adjoining brewery to use the space in the evenings. You order food at the counter and it's brought out. The pizzas were good. There's a good size parking lot right across the street and the servers were great. It does take probably a solid 20-30 min to get your pizza, so if you're trying to go quick, this is more of a have a drink and appetizer then your pizza ambience type of setting.

Met up with some friends on a Friday night at 6:30 and the place was packed. We were told it would be about an hour to an hour and fifteen minute wait for the pizza. A table was ready in about 15 minutes. In the meantime we had looked over the menu and placed our order at the counter as advised by the hostess to help "speed things up." We sat at our table and I found the water station so I helped myself to that. Not sure if we were supposed to or not but really never had a waitress so I figured it was fair game. A waitress from the bar side of the restaurant came by to see if we wanted any drinks. I'm not completely sure if this is two separate restaurants working together or just sharing space. We got our garlic knots and our friends got their salads about 20-25 minutes after we sat down. The pizza came about 30 minutes later. The garlic knots weren't what I was expecting. More like dough rolls smothered in a garlic butter. They had a nice garlic flavor and came with a basic marinara. They were ok. We ordered the special Hall of Famer and the Dude. Pizzas only come in one size so we had leftovers to take home. The Hall of Famer was the better of the two in my opinion. It had more flavor than the Dude. Our friends ordered the Il Pepe. They liked it. I wouldn't be running back for more but it wasn't a wasted trip either. For me it just could have been better. It was a great spot for us to meet up with friends we hadn't seen in a while because it gave us lots of time to chat and catch up. We were actually about the last ones to leave at closing. The highlight of the evening was a surprise show. Some young Irish dancers showed up and did a dance for everyone. It was very festive. We lucked out by being in the right place at the right time.

Our order: 2 pizzas, a caesar salad, garlic knots, and 2 cans of soda. Price - In my opinion, quite STEEP, $70 plus tip for all items listed above. Staff - Friendly. Wait time - Long. We ordered and got a table as soon as we walked in the door. However, it took 1 hour and 15 mins to receive our pizza after placing our order. They said they told us that, I assure you they did not. However, the salad and knots came out super quick. Caesar Salad - 10/10, dressing is homemade and I loved it! My husband thought it had too much lemon, but that is just his personal preference. Garlic knots - 10/10, super garlicky, rolls were soft on the inside, so good! Pepe' Piccante Pizza - super disappointing that the jalepeños weren't cooked (which the menu did not specify) and literally just fell off the pizza sticking to nothing. January special Frankie Five Angels - I enjoyed the topping combo. Personally, I wouldn't pay this price and wait 1 hour plus. The pizza wasn't my favorite, but pizza is highly subjective as everyone has different preferences on sauce, dough, etc. I will say, all ingredients used were high quality and I loved the apps! I may go back for apps again and try the meatballs too! Give it a shot, just maybe don't go on a Friday night or just be prepared for a very long wait.

If you haven't been to Mike's Pizza and you're a pizza fan! Stop thinking about it and GO!!!! Seriously, the best pizza in Canton, OH! Mike and his staff are awesome! You'll usually see Mike behind the counter making his awesome pizza pies. My go to pizza is the El Pepe, it's fantastic! Plenty of seating and fast friendly service. Make plans to go asap!

La Bianca pizza with crushed red pepper

Like a lot of reviews have mentioned, this place has a pretty cool concept of taking over Deli Ohio's space for the weekend and making it into a pizza restaurant. My friend and I went here on a whim, got La Bianca pizza, a white pizza with lemon ricotta. Our wait time was average, and the service was very friendly! They checked in on us, asking if we'd want any of their craft beers, and also asking how everything was once the food arrived. The menu is simple, just pizza. The prices are a bit steep, with one pizza coming up to around 21 dollars. So if you're feeding a lot, that price might be something to consider. Even their sauces are an extra $1 dollar. Overall, this place was nice, good atmosphere and welcoming staff. But, the pizza wasn't overly amazing or anything I hadn't seen before with that kind of pricing. I would recommend, but not a number one pick if you're just looking for pizza in the area.

My husband and I recently dined at this establishment and were blown away by the quality of the food and hospitality of the owner and bartender. We ordered the meatballs for an appetizer and they were top notch. The lemon ricotta that comes with them is perfection and completely enhances an already excellent dish. Our pizza had the freshest ingredients and was cooked to perfection! The owner came by and checked in on our experience. The bartender was friendly and helpful with drink selections. The atmosphere is casual and laid back. We can't wait to return!

Hands down best pizza in the area!! Worth going across town for. Heard about Mike's on Instagram. Ordered to go , but place has a cool vibe so we stayed and ate at the bar. Amazing thin crust NY style, not typically found in Ohio.

There's so many pizza places and most of them blend together into a big pile of mediocre-ness, so it's refreshing to find a pizza joint that sets itself apart. I've had a lot of pizza in my time in many, many states and from many, many places. Most of it was forgettable and largely a waste of money. Mikes Pizza is hands down some of the best pizza you will eat. Anywhere. It's fresh, literally and metaphorically. It's not mass produced schlock. It's located downtown Canton in a great building and space. The staff is friendly and the place is clean and has good vibes: from the music, to the way the place feels and operates. Get the meatballs. They're the best meatballs. The IL Pepe' was my favorite of the four pizzas we got when we came in. There's a lot of exciting things around the corner for Mikes Pizza and I'm excited to see where it leads them. Check them out!

Chatting with Mike

The wife and I drove from Michigan to try this pizza, with a side visit to the family. First off, the pizza was delicious. It has ruined pizza for me in my hometown in Michigan. All right, so when you walk in you're greeted by a dough-y, garlic aroma. This leads you around a corner where you're presented with the smiling faces of the staff banging out their pizzas. It was a pleasure to see how much fun the staff was having while being inundated with orders. We sat at the attached brewery, The Woodshop, located in the back of the building. The beer there was fantastic. I had a pale ale, an ESB, and a double pils, all top notch. Now back to the pizza. We ordered garlic knots (before they sold out), the Pepe' Piccante, the Ms. Ross, and The Grinch. The crust for all of the above food items was perfection. It was crisp in all the right places while maintaining an airy chew in the center. The red sauce was fresh and had a hint of vibrant tartness that complimented the gooey cheese and fresh toppings. One thing in particular I appreciated was the use of fresh jalapeños on the Pepe, none of that pickled/jarred shenanigans. The sausage on the Ms. Ross popped with just the right amount of fennel and pepper. And something that really blew my mind was the garlic ricotta cream on The Grinch. Holy smokes, I was not expecting such a rich and creamy texture, and pair that with the spinach and artichokes, oh boy, you have one damn fine pizza. Mike, the owner, is a delight and treasure. If you get a chance to say hello to him, you should. And thank him for sharing his gift of pizza artistry with us. If you're in the Canton area, or are looking for fantastic pizza no matter the distance, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to Mike's Pizza. Cheers!

Great vibes, best pizza!!

Great vibes, best pizza!! Can't rave about this place enough! Our favorite date night spot. The crust is always crispy and the simple but delicious toppings are always spot on!

Fantastic pizza! Great combinations and the white pizza is a welcomed menu item. Happy to see this place in Canton!

The pizza is authentic and the staff is beyond friendly. This is one of our favorite local haunts. You have to get a side of lemon ricotta to dip your pizza in, especially if you get the temple of shroom.

"Mr. McCallister's" as listed and a House Caeser salad.

We ended up just coming in the next day to try it, and I'm glad we did. First off, all our food was great and was presented well. I love paying for great food and this place is worth every dollar we spent. Came out fast, hot and delicious. We got the Stuffed Mushrooms, Garden Salad, Pesto gnocchi ( omg ) and my partner got the Drizz (?) My Gnocchi was wonderful, I'm also a sucker for Pesto and Gnocchi, I would get again. The stuffed mushrooms were fantastic, never had them with Sausage before. I liked the house made Italian dressing so much I asked for some to take home and they humored me. I went to Costco later and picked up everything to make a salad just for this dressing. He liked his sandwich, he normally does not like coleslaw but he said it worked and liked it a lot. Our waitress ( sorry I didn't get your name ) was like a ninja. She had multiple tables and I didn't feel like she neglected us. The service is fast and accurate. The place is small, but I like how lowkey and cozy it is. My partner is pretty tall and he said he didn't feel uncomfortable and liked how quiet it was. Honestly this place is great and everyone should give it a try, we're already planning our next visit. This place put the other Italian places around it to shame in every category. Also, get the Limoncello, trust me. No pictures because we were too busy eating.
