I was expecting a scattering of small shrimp and instead they make it with large breaded shrimp on top plus fresh tomato slices and roasted broccoli. The Alfredo sauce hides under the mozzarella cheese, making for a very tasty and filling pizza. We stopped in tonight for the soft opening at the new Twisted Tomato across from Canal Park. The food is amazing, they did a nice job. A couple favorites for me are the boneless wings, pretzel bites, and my wife loved the stuffed tomatoes. The pizza has an amazing sauce. Best of all, you get to pour your own beers! read more

I saw an employee coming to the booth with a bunch of fresh pizzas, one being their pickle pizza. I know it sounds weird but boy was it tasty. So the twisted tomato is in a great location across from the rubber duck stadium. However, the staff is lackluster went in there and couldn't get anybody to see me then it took forever for somebody to come over and take my drink order. Then I ordered a small pepperoni sausage pizza, which took forever to come out. But when he did come out, the pizza was really good, just as a service needs to dress more appropriately, be more friendly and be more consistent in getting your food and drink refills. My husband and 2 young children came here for dinner following our time at the Akron childrens Museum. Overall decent experience here. They have a "beer wall" that was pretty neat, but expensive and required a debit or credit card before sitting. The pizza was pretty good. I felt for the size of the pizzas the price was decent. We got a small personal cheese for the kids to split, and a Large Hawaiian Heat. The pizza was a bit greasy to be honest, but overall great flavors. The Hawaiian heat had Alfredo base with mozzarella, parmesan, pineapple, and jalapeños. They had some unique pizza I would definitely come back to try such as a pickle pizza! The service was just okay. The restaurant is very small and laid back. Multiple people came in for takeout orders. Our server unfortunately did not check to refill drinks, and Was standing visibly touching and checking her phone, and then touching our plates. But she was very friendly and had great conversation with my 4 year old! The bathrooms are shared with a bar and we're not good. My 4 year old wouldn't even use them. If I were to get pizza here again, I definitely would leave the kids at home or get takeout. read more

The food was great but our service wasn't that great. Not only did the female server with really long hair keep touching her hair and eat food without washing her hands and she continued to bring food out and that is gross. Also when we asked for silverware she went to the kitchen to grab it and was holding the utensils clutched in her palm with the side you put in your mouth in her hand and when she set the silverware down she just set them on a napkin and left. we can clearly see that other tables who have been given silverware has been given rolled silverware. we wish the male server on the shift wouldve been our server. read more

Ordered lunch for me and my co-workers via website. The food was meh, the antipasto salad didn't match up to the description it had on the menu and didn't have dressing that was asked for. They didn't give the sauces to the tender baskets and we asked for cajun fries with the Nessa Caprese melt (The flavoring was good on the sandwich though) and got plain fries that were soggy and not even salted. We called the business to just let them know a few things weren't right and the manager decided to explain they had a $1,000.00 in orders that they were doing, which we didn't see anyone in the restaurant when we picked up the order but hey maybe it was online orders I get it. She continued to yell at us over the phone then hung up on us when were just trying to let them know a few things were missed. But the food all together was subpar and now we probable wont ever order there again because of the attitude we received over the phone and being hung up on.
