Okay, we have ordered here for YEARS and have LOVED IT, but after tonight, no more. We ordered at 5:25 PM. The app said "expect your order at 6:05." At 6:45 we called in to see what was happening with our order and the person on the phone said, "Yeah, we saw your order but we had a driver call off, sooooo..." The person on the phone acknowledged that they saw our order at 5:30 and knew they had no driver. We asked, sooooo no one thought to call us and let us know? The dude said that it was his first day. We said, well, that still sucks, but can we talk to your manager? New Dude hooked us up with a manager...of some kind. Based on what she knew, she must have been in charge of the walk-in freezer or paper goods, because she had no idea what was going on and got snippy with us! She said that she was the morning manager and that she had no jurisdiction over orders like ours. We said, but you open at 5. There IS no morning shift. And she said, yeah, that's what I said. And we said, no, that makes no sense. We asked for ANOTHER manager, the regional manager of some kind, and she was lovely and said she'd refund our order AND bring it to us personally. And she was serious. She was great. But we were really hungry, so we passed and made ourselves some egg sandwiches. The point here is that D.P. is unreliable and can't be trusted to communicate properly. We've placed our last order with them and, ironically, it's an order we never received. Absolutely love it. I order DP Dough way more than I care to admit. The calzones are all great seriously have not been disappointed by a single thing on the menu. They are also fully customizable and easy to order online. Delivery is fast and good for the price. Their desserts and apps are also very good- definitely try the loaded tots. read more

I opened the box and wasn't impressed by the look of the calzone. The dipping sauce was great, the breaded chicken and cheese inside was great. However I wasn't thrown by the dough. It was nicely cooked and crispy. I thought the dough was bland. Could've used garlic butter, oregano, basil to make it less plain tasting. No complaints otherwise. read more

I first wanna say I'm thankful for the vegan options since many Italian restaurants in Kent do not provide vegan cheese. The cheese was nicely melted and the veggies inside were well cooked. I wasn't too crazy about the dough and overall flavor, it tasted pretty bland and had no seasonings. Could definitely use some salt, oregano, basil, or olive oil to help make it more flavorful. Okay food. If you want a quick bite to eat. With hardly any flavor I would suggest them. The dough has no flavor. It needs salt and pepper or Italian seasoning. Maybe some dill. Something. on the night of NYE my friends and I thought we'd might like to end the night with a nice calzone, and DP Dough was one of the only places open in Kent at 2:30 am. we placed an order online, and waited. an hour passes and I call and they inform me that they are too busy, the driver was supposed to call me (he didn't) and they would not be delivering my food. the girl said she would cancel my order..no problem. HOWEVER, the next day I checked my account and i was still charged FIFTY FIVE DOLLARS. this is a large amount for a broke college student to lose especially when we didn't receive the food. I call the place that day and they tell me a manager won't be in until 10 pm. ok. so I call again at 10. manager is friendly, but basically doesn't know how to get my money back to me and says the "GM" will contact me in a few days, and my money will be back in FIVE TO TEN DAYS. whatever. so i wait. days pass, no call from GM, no money. ended up disputing the charge with my bank. i tried to be patient and give them the benefit of the doubt but this was ridiculous. thanks for literally nothing dp dough. read more
