I'm moving back to southwest Ohio and this is one of the only places i will miss from the northeast. Everything I've had from this place is amazing! Pizza, hoagies, fried chicken, jojos, and spaghetti. I even tried the coleslaw... it was amazing! The sauce they use is sweet and light. They fry the chicken perfectly. Definitely give this place a try. Another thing i love is the customer service and mom and pop feel. The staff is always friendly and it's always the same people working. You can tell they really love their job. They also offer rewards programs and punch cards. There's a different special everyday. You can get a sub, jojos, coleslaw, and a can of soda for under $9. There's not too many places you can get a good home cooked meal for under $10 a person. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a consistent take out spot with a mom and pop feel that won't hurt your wallet. read more

Like seeing an old friend after 40 years, I had Alteri's for the first time since 1985. Yum. Takes me back to the university of Akron Chuckery. I typically do not like pepperoni under cheese but for Alteri's it works. They ecen offered me a slice of their Spaghetti pizza at no charge. So cool. This is a take out only location. read more

Pizza was hot and fresh and delivered on time and tasted great. Our family really enjoyed it after a long day at the national park.

I've been eating their pizza for nearly 60 years. It's the best and always consistently the same!

I was recommended this by a coworker who raved about it. I think I just didn't get a fresh pizza. the sauce was great and the flavor was really good but my pizza was cold. I also got garlic knots which were so good. Fairly priced pizza shop. read more

Favorite pizza spot in the area! Cool selection of specialty pizzas even though their normal pizza is hard to beat.

Pretty solid pizza. Toppings tend to fall off. Cheese is the way to go as the cheese stays on the slice the best this way. Jo Jo's are hit or miss as well with some of them being great and others having raw parts in the middle. read more

Altieri's has great pizza. We like both the regular crust and the thin crust. The sauce is terrific, and the toppings are generous.

I am a gluten free QUEEN I only eat gluten free and I love pizza. its hard to eat gluten free this place has great service people are kind sweet and loving. all in all the best. read more

Altieri's is hands down the best pizza in Stow and in the Akron area. The sauce is perfection. The crust amazing... and even the cauliflower crust is awesome for those of us watching our carbs. And the spicy garlic wings perfect amount of spice and garlic. Matt took over for Dennis and they haven't missed a beat. Pizza perfection! read more

Altieri's is great- truly local pizza shop. Personally, I love the deep dish and the fact that you can get a free slice for the road when you pick it up! There is also gluten-free fried chicken which made my Uncle thrilled to have fried chicken again! The staff is friendly and they open up your pizza box to display their work of art before you leave and make sure you're happy before you leave the door. read more

Came here for the fried chicken & left with a free slice of pizza- score! Plus they definitely gave us a few extra pieces of friend chicken in our 12 piece meal- double score! The guy behind the counter was super friendly and the chicken was pretty good. One thing to *avoid* is the "rice". It's sorta like jambalaya rice but i believe it had marinera in it... idk. It was weird so we didn't eat it. I'm sure rice at a pizza shop isn't the most desired item but we ordered it to feel less guilty for eating a bunch of fried chicken. The only other side I remember them having was potato wedges, which I would've ordered if I knew the rice wasn't normal rice. Oh well- lesson learned! read more

They should've made it right between the customer and not waste my time for the 40 minutes plus the 20 minutes plus would have to wait again then rush my food when they did not take my order through the phone and then made it so indecisive like it was my fault to figure it out. It's on you guys .. I no what I ordered . and it's why you're getting the one star my meal should've been free and then the next one or then some I would've ordered again today I know the customers always right, but you have to figure out the new people you hired or a policy on when taking orders you should know something in placed and make it right for the customer that didn't get their food because it wasn't placed unless someone contacts me, I will not go back there in lees someone gets a hold of me and I will keep on leaving one star reviews stop telling people, coworkers and friends to go there you should be watching over the new guy very disrespectful one star read more

There's no shortage of pizza places in the Stow area, but Altieri's is the best. The pizza is always delicious, never a disappointment. We recently ordered the ultimate pickle pizza and a veggie specialty and they were both uniquely delicious. read more

Stopped by this take-out only pizza spot for our next pizza review. To start off the customer service was great and quick in and out after we called ahead. The pizza looked great in the box and all the toppings were dispersed well. We enjoyed how the toppings were under the cheese, they did not fall off when you bit into it. The pepperoni was slightly spicy which was great to balance out the sweeter sauce. There was not really a cheese pull or much flavor to the cheese. Not much flavor to the crust either, it was chewier rather than crunchy, so mostly depends on your preference. The pricing was reasonable and we will definitely be getting it again! read more

I drove 30 minutes to get this after hearing such great things. It was definitely worth the drive. Best pizza in the CLE area that I've had by far. The staff was super friendly and organized during the midst of chaos by the calls and folks coming in for pickup. They also offer a slice for you to try while waiting for your order. A great added touch is that they open your box and show you the order prior to your exit to ensure the correct order is served. Simple but genius. read more

Some of the staff are a bit rude and unpleasant, but the food quality and taste makes up for the lack of bedside manner. I wouldn't suggest the Jojos but the pizza is delicious read more

The workers are very respectful and very respectful to all of there customers ... The food that you get is awesome....

This place is hands down the best pizza place in the area. Not only is the quality of the pizza perfection but the way the workers care about their customers makes this place even more amazing. I am so thankful they have a vegan cheese option, and I've had A LOT of vegan cheese pizzas from other places but this place DOES IT RIGHT- so huge compliment to the chef for nailing it. Hopefully they'll get vegan meat options down the road, but till then I'll enjoy every second of the fantastic vegan cheese pizzas they make. read more

I have lived within a few miles of this place for 15 years. Luckily for me, I hadn't tried it before. I'd probably be 600lbs! This pizza was the best I've tried around. The crust was amazing. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It has great flavor. I also wanted to try the side of spaghetti just to see if it was good. It was pretty tasty. They have a specialty pizza each month and also offer a cauliflower crust. Next time I'll be trying the cauliflower just to see how it is. I highly recommend Altieri's if you want the best pizza in the Cuyahoga Falls/Stow area. They don't deliver but it's worth the drive! read more

We have had two horrible experiences with this company. Both times special instructions were not followed and we were shorted drinks. Will never order from them again - completely unhelpful when we called for assistance. Total rip off. Per your note - you gave us zero options to resolve and you never let us know that the vegan cheese was sold out. It was selectable on other menu items. Your response is simply dishonest. At least the woman we spoke to on the phone the second time did not lie, apologized, and admitted where you all came up short. read more

I ordered a pizza with half pepperoni and the other half with ham and black olives. The sent the whole pizza with pepperoni, ham and black olives. I won't be ordering from this establishment again. read more

I went to this place due to papa john's messing up my order, this is the best pizza i've ever had in my life! The owner is such an amazing and kind person. Highly recommend!! read more

My daughter is gluten free and they listed it as an option. The pie had a thinner cauliflower crust than their standard pizza and showcased their signature sauce well. We ordered it in the Riconi trim and it was everything all the award winning write up's say it is. Tart, sweet, savory, spicy,... awesome! We did the gluten free as an option for my daughter but I gotta say this is a first choice pizza not another option! read more

Have loved the pizzas from here it's our regular go to now. Also we try the pizza of the month every month.

Oh. Em. Gee. Idk why it took us so long to try this place out. Their fried chicken and jojos are the best around town. Their hot rice tastes authentic and amazing. Their coleslaw is vinegar baded and honestly, delicious (coming from a non-coleslaw eater) Pizza is cooked perfectly. Their customer service is wonderful. They are always so polite when ordering and picking up. And now during COVID, they only allow two ppl in the shop at a time and following protocols. Highly recommend. read more

Great food, even have gluten free pasta. Their chicken and jojo's are delicious and so are their calzones and sandwiches. A definite favorite in our house. read more

As a general rule, don't care for chicken (as a kid, had to fetch eggs from under broody hens, help clean, and clean up after, chickens & ate way too much chicken). But, Altieri's chicken, in any form, is the exception to the rule. Also, best pizza I've had in decades. After reading other reviews, want to try the hot rice, cole slaw, etc. And it doesn't hurt that they're only 2 miles from our house. read more

Update! The Owner exceeded expectations and really went above and beyond to make mistake this right. It was a mistake made by a new hire. It's been awhile since I've had pizza here and I was happy to check out Alteri's. So far, I've been there twice and both times the pizza was good. Best crust I've had in several years, especially the wheat crust! If you want to try something a little different, try their Greek pizza. It's was yummy! Their price-point is about average and they don't skimp on toppings. I'll definitely be going back. Now I have to try their cannolis. read more

Great local pizza place that offers salads and pasta all at a fair price. Always a little bit of a wait but it is well worth it

Not sure why it took me 8 months to find this place, but it's by far the best pizza place around. It's not just the pizza, everything i had there has been perfect, including the fried chicken (which in my opinion is underpriced haha) i don't see myself going to another pizza joint outside of altieris and gioninos for a while. Too notch pizza and the best house dressing around. I always buy extra! You will not be disappointed!

Solid 3 star pizza place. As far as I remember the pizza is very sweet, thick dough, just average pizza honestly. Had more sauce than cheese. Marcos is better IMO. I guess it depends on your preference if you like chewwy dough like someone else on here said. Also the sweetness was just too much for me. I have only tried their regular pizza with pepperoni. read more
