I go to pick up my food and the music choices that were blaring were very distasteful for any establishment. If this music would have been the clean versions might not of been so bad. One employee leaning on the counter while another employee was playing in his hair. I will not be back. I ordered to 10 piece lemon pepper wings. I pick them up go home open them up taste them and the wings are cooked completely and have no flavor. I call the store report the problem and I was advised to bring them back to verify the problem. I drive 10 mins back to the restaurant they verify the problem and say I can keep them. (Who wants wings half cooked?) So they give me fresh wings but now the fries are cold and old. I ask for replacement fries. The manager on duty has an attitude at this time she replace my fries with s container half the size of my initial order. I will not purchase from here again. Update. The company got my survey on this issue and made it right to the best of their ability with a $10 gift card. read more

Not too shabby. I've heard high and low about amazing the lemon pepper wings are. So I gave them a try... Size: 3 stars. For a wing place, you would think that the chicken pieces would be big. Or at least average. And while some were, there were definitely a few wings on the tiny side. And the smaller they were, the more they tended to get well done (crispy). Which is great if you have some meat to bite Into *with* the crispness, but kinda gross when they are tiny wings. Cook: 5 stars. These guys know how to do wings right. Other than the small wings, the regular sized and big guys were fried to perfection. Nice crispy outside, good skin texture, and a hot, juicy meat. Coating: 3.5 stars. I split my order between the lemon pepper and the garlic Parmesan. While they were both coated pretty well, the lemon pepper sauce kind of leaked and spilled over the whole box, meaning the bottom of all the garlic parm wings also had some lemon pepper on them. While both flavors are great on their own, not so much when combined. Ordering: 5 stars. I went online to Wingstop.com to place my order for pickup, and it couldn't have been easier. The layout is nice, makes all your choices really easy, and they don't force you to create an account. Also nice that you can pay in-store as an option, so you don't have to use your credit card online. Overall: 4 stars. Wingstop had a pretty good first showing for me, which means I'll certainly be back to give them another try soon. Decent sized wings (minus a few) with good flavors and cook finish. I've ordered at this location before and service and food were good. I placed an order yesterday and was not greeted or acknowledged. The employee with the face tattoo over her eye looked at me but walked away. About 30 seconds later another customer walked in and she asked this person "do you have an order?" Then retrieved his order and he left. I then had to let eye tattoo know that I had an order and gave her my name, she literally put the bag on the counter along with the beverage and walked away?? I understand there is a wing shortage and obvious good employee shortage so I was willing to chalk it up as a bad day. When I arrived at home I opened the bag and low and behold it wasn't even my order so I tried calling the store 3 times, no answer !! So I drove out to the store which is 12-15 minute drive. I spoke with Anna "the manager" All I can write is she could care less about all that occurred. I actually said its like you don't even care to which she replied I'm listening to you aren't I ? I asked for the District Managers number, General Managers, City Manager and was told it should be on Google... Really ? When I arrived back home now with cold food, which was prepared with as much limited quality as the customer service was less then acceptable. Under cooked, no seasoned fries and half sauced wings. 15 minute wait at 2pm. The fries were spectacular the wings not so much. I ordered bone in garlic parmesan wings and when I opened the box it appeared to be a dry rub and not a sauce. As it turned out there was actually a spoonful or 2 of garlic butter in the bottom of the box. The wings were over cooked, dry and tough and I guess it is possible that none of the sauce was able to stick the wings. They seem to push the dipping sauce when I ordered so I guess the dried out wings are why they need an additional sauce. For a place that only does wings it is just sad. I was expecting a lot less from this hard-to-see-from-the-road, corporate chain outpost in a rinky-dink West Akron business strip. But alas, to my surprise, here we have a simple, clean, bright little business that knows itself and delivers the goods. The chicken tenders are textbook comfort food done well. While I enjoy today's gastro-pub style tenders with beer batters and organic chicken, these tenders are the throwback kind that bring back memories of Red Robin as a kid: pre-frozen but made from actual tenderloins, meaty and crunchy with a simple peppery flour batter. Order them "plain" with the sauce on the side, as to avoid unnecessary sogginess that results from ordering them "flavored." As for the wings, they are true sports bar-style, going straight into the deep fryer from the freezer...not much meat left once they finish their long submersion, but if you're a crispy skin person you'll come away happy. Solid, without pretensions to greatness. The devil is in the smaller details, and this is where Wingstop really rises to the occasion. The perfectly-fried, golden, thicker-cut crispy french fries are seasoned with an enticing blend of salt, paprika (I think) and sugar. Ketchup not needed. The bleu cheese dressing, a must with your wings/tenders/fries, isn't your typical watered-down Kraft variety found in your average bad sports bar...instead, huge chunks of actual bleu cheese float in a thick, tangy, base that is almost spreadable. Celery and carrot sticks are the necessary vessel for cleaning up the last of this bleu cheese dressing. At Wingstop, the veggie sticks come freshly washed and wrapped in brown parchment paper. Cold, crispy, and still dripping with a little bit of ice water as you unwrap them - a dandy little final touch that reinforces their freshness. Against the inevitable complaints that the food/staff is "too slow," I'll simply say that the service has always been warm and pleasant, and the extra minutes you might wait at Wingstop probably have a lot to do with those finer details being attended to. read more

The young lady who greeted me was exceptionally polite as I figured out our family's order. While waiting for our order to be cooked, I had the chance to see their cook line which seemed quite clean and was able to watch a worker peeling the carrots which would be the side. When I got the order Home we dove into the wings. We were impressed- nice and meaty and PERFECTLY cooked. Well, there has been a management change.... whole staff change really. And the quality has gone downhill. There phones weren't working. Literally. And I told the girl at the counter. She acted like it wasn't a big deal. I always order online. The last time I went I got the mixed wings w/ lemon pepper and the reg Hot. The hot sauce didn't taste right. It was off somehow. And I asked the girl tonite is it a different recipe??? Again, no knowledge of this at all. So I asked for the Hot ones to be cooked a little extra, bcuz normally they get a little soft. The lemon pepper ones were the ones they cooked extra and the didn't even up the drumettes/wing like they've always done in the past. You could always count on getting an equal amount before. No exceptions. And Ive been there a minimum of at least a dozen times over the past year. Today they had more wings thanks drumettes and they were small!!!!! Overcooked and small. I guess the GM ( a big tall red headed guy I think) there tonite. I suppose he could hear our entire conversation, but never jumped in at all. Ordered delivery from a Wingstop closer to us, but it was rerouted to the Akron location. The delivery was through Door Dash, which the tracker showed the driver spending 10 minutes in a single location before coming to deliver our food. By the time the food got to us, everything was cold (we had ordered wings and fries). Not only were the wings and fries cold, they were flavorless. The dipping sauces we got were equally terrible (and we've had the same sauces from a different location before and enjoyed everything). The cheese sauce tasted like chemicals. We were also short wings that we ordered (wrong quantity). And part of our order had the lemon pepper dry rub, but it arrived covered in a sauce. This ruined delivery for us. read more
