Not the best penn station. Doesnt taste like penn station tbh. I suggest taking the 10 extra minutes to find another one.

They will mess up your order. Stated I was allergic to a certain food, they put it on the sandwich anyway.

Went after the bar and they were closed almost 2 hours before what was posted online. Upsetting and annoying.

Worst service ever. Clueless employees wrong order and terribly slow. Trying to hide incompetence with a fake cheeriness

I was really pleased. This was the best East Coast style Reuben that I have had in Kent, ever.

I had heard that there was a new owner within the last year or so, which honestly made me a little hesitant at first. Luckily, the experience was great from the start. The line was short, and the woman taking orders was incredibly friendly and helpful. I asked for her recommendation between two menu options and ended up going with the Cuban. I'll admit, once you've had a truly authentic Cuban sandwich, it can be hard for others to compare -- but Franklin Square Deli did a really great job with theirs! Whatever seasoned butter they brush on the bread before toasting it is absolute chef's kiss. The sandwich was flavorful, perfectly toasted, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Between the food and the service, the $12 price tag (including a soda) felt completely worth it. I'll definitely be stopping by again!

We almost always order the #16 roast beef sandwich because it is simply perfect: heavy on the roast beef on toasted bread with just the right amount of tomato and horseradish. Service is quick and the combo includes chips, a small side and drink. The new owner is doing a great job with this gem!

The carrots and jalapenos were fresh. The baguette was both slightly crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. This would be a solid 4 in NYC. In Kent, OH... it's a well deserved 5 stars.

I went to Kent for an adventure, found Hue Banh Mi & Pho on Yelp! so I gave it a go. When I walked through the door I knew the food was going to be good because it smelled like I was in the kitchen hovering over fresh cut veg, fish sauce and lime. Yum. I got two pork banh mi and summer rolls. I ate half a sandwich and one roll at a nearby park and had the other half for dinner when I got home. The bread was perfect--crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The veg was crisp and refreshing and the pork delicious, tender and moist. The summer roll was good, peanut sauce was perfect and I got a side of nước chấm so I could double dip. I had the second sandwich for breakfast.* I happily saw they put mayo on the banh mi so I asked for none and they made it without. Yay or otherwise yuk. I will make a special 55 minute trip to eat here again. *I go between Detroit and Cleveland on the regular so I usually get a banh mi for the road and one for the next day. Hear me out--deconstruct the sandwich and wrap the veg in a moist paper towel and seal in a glass jar. Store the bread in the paper bag it came in and put the meat away as you normally would. The next day wet the paper bag and put the bread in the oven for about 5 mins. Reheat the meat on the stove top, reassemble and enjoy.
