    Marinara sauce

Food was mediocre, but the marinara sauce was covered in mold. I'm not sure how the employees didn't notice it, but I just threw away everything once I saw it. Will not be returning. There were also gnats all over the dining room, I can't imagine what else is growing in the back.

We stopped in for wings but after a quick glance at the menu there was no way we were going to pay that much. Ended up getting some chicken tenders and fries instead, but we should've just left. Still expensive and such low quality. The restaurant was very dirty. Tables hadn't been cleaned off and the floor was littered. Our service was quick and friendly, the only positive thing we can say.

Food was great service was right on and I think the dinning area was good being near the campus!

Best wings in btown. They run pretty large. Very saucy. Coming here for years and an all time fav.

Definitely get a bang for your buck. The curly fries tasted like Hardee's. The wings were VERY SAUCY. Maybe too saucy but it was good. They have allot of different sauces which I was shocked. AND I MEAN ALLOT OF DIFFERENT SAUCES AND LEVELS OF SPICINESS

Spicy bbq, mango habanero, spicy ginger, & Nashville hot "Curly fries" 20 Wings 2 Fries and 2 Drinks Combo

I honestly have never been so disappointed in any take out order I've ever had. They forgot to put an order of waffle fries we ordered. The fries & ranch were the only thing I really enjoyed about the food. Other than that, the wings were way over cooked. I know boneless wings are really just chicken nuggets, but I ordered boneless because I like them that way. For being a wing place, the wings are the worst wings I've ever had. The chicken was so dry & way over breaded. Some bites were actually all just breading. They were way over sauced, yet somehow the sauce didn't cover each wing. Not to mention, it was $40 for 20 (terrible) wings & a small side of ("curly") fries. Their ranch, however, is the only reason I gave this place a generous 2 stars. The ranch was fantastic.

Locals told me that it was because the local pizza places, especially Mother Bear's, are so popular, that college students would go there instead of getting cheap, mid pizza. I have now been to Mother Bear's three or four times and really wish that there was a Little Caesar's Pizza in town. This most recent trip was during lunchtime and I ordered a cheese slice, a small house salad, and a drink. I fortunately got there early enough to get a clean table, though I saw probably fifteen to twenty people come in after me who were not so lucky. Following the sign at the door, instructing them to "Please Seat Yourselves," I heard several people ask out loud how they were supposed to do that if there were no clean tables. Some employees frantically cleaned a few tables and had them sit down. A few minutes after I ordered, the waitress brought the house salad. It looked fresh at first but the more I ate the more I realized that several of the romaine pieces were either clearly out of date or simply bad. In a moment when cyclospora is running rampant through the US, the lack of care in selecting the lettuce was worrying. Several moments later I began wondering if the cheese slice was going to be brought to my table soon. Instead, it was probably twenty minutes between getting the salad and the cheese slice and it was pretty obvious (see the photo) that the slice had been sitting under a heat lamp for around that same amount of time. The crust was dry, the cheese had become stale and too salty, and it was not a very enjoyable experience. Eating around the bad lettuce was, unfortunately, more enjoyable, and it was also better than the pizzas I've had here in the past, where the dough, toppings, and cheese aren't integrated in a way that blends their flavors together very well. The one thing I can say about this time is that the Dr. Pepper was fine, which is not something I can always say about restaurant sodas. I think for me this will probably be my last time going to Mother Bear's. It seems like one of those places that probably was good at some point in the past but now they rely on the fact that undergrads and locals will go to the restaurant no matter what. I'll probably just keep dreaming of eating Little Caesar's instead or, more likely, I'll just go get better pizza at Osteria Rago.

First of all, my experience was immediately tarnished when my drink was not included in my delivery order. In fact, my two peers who ordered 30 mins prior to my placement did not receive their drinks either, allowing a reasonable conclusion this is the fault of the restaurant, not the driver. The cherry on top was when my "Hickory Barbecue Wings" (using quotations because these may have well have been sauceless) contained an offensively low amount of sauce. Truth be told, I dislike writing messages of such tone, but you f*ck me and I f*ck you harder. The guy who takes orders comes off as very unfriendly. I am used to no-nonsense Cantonese service and I don't think that's what this is; it feels like he doesn't want you to order. The first time I tried to order here I kind of got intimidated out of it because he told me it would be a 20 minute wait for food as I was just opening my mouth to order and the way it was delivered, I thought that was his way of telling me to go away. There was no 20-minute wait this time (I guess they were less busy) but it was the same vibe.
