Just received my delivery order moments ago. Requested 15 wings with honey mustard sauce on the side, celery and ranch, and an extra side of another sauce. Not only was the order completely botched, my wings doused in a spicy sauce, but when I called to request a refund or at least a credit of my purchase on a future order, the manager told me he would only give me 10% off my next order and refused to refund my order. He then hung up on me. I called back and only to experience another employee use vulgar language and also hang up on me. 10/10 would not recommend. I was a loyal customer (at least 30+ orders over the past 1.5 years) and I can say without question that I will never order food from this place again. I have had their wings before. They're not very good, but not terrible. Very greasy, over cooked, over sauced. And the wings themselves are much smaller than other local places. Recently, I ordered a simple order for delivery, and I live less than half a mile away. The order took over two hours, including calling the restaurant. I called the restaurant a couple times in the meantime, eventually speaking to the "manager" on duty. He basically told me he didn't care how long I waited. There was never any option for a discount. The manager told me to stop ordering from them if I didn't like their (terrible) service. And I guarantee, I will never order from them again. The food to begin with is pretty bad, and I relied on their service to continue ordering from them. And then, they showed themselves to be the absolute worst delivery in town. Ordered 10 traditional wing meal online. Delivery came late, missing drink and having the wrong kind of wings. Called the store and the manager refused to do anything about the food but said he'd send a driver with the missing Dr Pepper which would take 15-20 minutes. Probably too close to their closing time to fix their mistake. I have given this place several chances to be better because their close proximity to my house & late hours, but I'm officially done! Their food is decent at best for the price, but they seriously lack customer service skills. When you place a phone order & told "20 minutes", get there on time & your fries are already cold- don't expect it to be fixed. They'll make you wait an extra 15mins just to say "that's as fresh as they'll ever be!" They have NEVER just fixed my food when I've complained. To say Wings Xtreme has the world's greatest wings, quite frankly does not do them justice. If there are, in fact, advanced alien species somewhere out in the universe capable of intersteller travel, possessing the knowledge of how to bend the laws of space and time.....they still could not cook better wings than Wings Xtreme. The phone girls announce the placement of each customer's order with the fortitude of Paul Revere riding through town alerting the colonists to the coming of the British. However, today they forgot to make my pickup order and I had to wait over 40 minutes for them to prepare it and they said it would be 15. Five people came in ahead of me and got their orders so I decided to go ask what was up and they had forgotten to make it! This is ridiculous. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. This place is raved as "...best wings!" These are the WORST wings I've ever eaten, only because the sauce is 1 part sauce and 700 parts water! So, while the wings were cooked perfectly (really), the flavor was nonexistent. I tried 3 different sauces, and all of them were so watery that I couldn't even distinguish between them! You'd be better off buying something frozen, prepackaged, or hitting up a pizza joint for their imitation chicken wings rather than wasting your money on this 'XTremely' underwhelming abomination. read more

Pretty good!!! I'm vegetarian so I got the curly fries, veggie wings, and southwest rolls. The southwest rolls were amazing! Like. Amazing! Fries were fries. :) The veggie wings were new to me, pretty much just fried veggie batter stuff - nothing really homemade or original (probably frozen) but it was still darn tasty! :) I will definitely be ordering again. This place always comes through any night of the week, at any time, and during any weather conditions. Their boneless wings are amazing, the Zesty Ranch and Honey BBQ sauces being my favorite. The tater tots are also great! This place is my reliable source for fuel during exam weeks or movie nights and I've never been unimpressed, especially with their cheap wing deals. Delivery can take a while, but it has always been reasonable for the time at which I order. The online delivery system is also extremely easy to use, personally. $0.60 cent wings, the best Jamaican jerk sauce I've had, and curly fries to boot. The boneless wings were all white meat, real chicken with the perfect amount of breading. Not too much, not too little. I am a former buffa-louies regular. I like boneless wings. For me, the chicken is merely the delivery mechanism for really good sauce. Bones slow me down too much. Buffa-louies changed their boneless wings a couple years ago to very low quality, on par written chicken McNuggets mystery meat. I quit going. Since then, I've been in search of a new wrong place. Wings Extreme("WingsX") is what I would consider a pure play on delivery wings. I would feel comfortable saying that most of you who read this don't even know where their physical store front is. Located in a strip mall behind Eigenmann, WingX has been frying up what I consider some of the best wings in Bloomington since August of 2007. The art of delivery wings is not easy and many times texture, sauce, and pride is lost as it travels to your doorstep. WingsX has this mastered. The wings are what I would consider jumbo sized but they have been fried enough to preserve the skin-to-meat ratio (an actual indicator among wing enthusiasts, look it up). I've had very few disappointments in the quality of their wings in the many times I've ordered. The sauces here are what separates WingX from the poor wing delivery firms. The uniqueness of this sauce alone is enough to warrant a 5-star rating. The sauce is a nice separation of paste and oil reminding me of an introduction to chemistry class in high school. They also have one of my favorite styles of sauce: Spicy Garlic. The sauce is very similar to a traditional buffalo yet the garlic complements the heat perfectly. I've had their other sauces and have been nothing but impressed. Overall, fantastic wings and some of my favorite in Bloomington. Wings Xtreme is most likely a place that you have never physically seen, located at the intersection of 10th Street and 46. Everyone that I know orders Wings Xtreme online or via telephone rather than going to pick up the wings. There are pros and cons of the Wings Xtreme business model. Wings Xtreme has simmered their business down to best take advantage of Indiana University being located on their doorstep. The advantage of this is that they know what they do best and they stick to it: consistent, decent delivery wings that are cost effective for the consumer. This means that they also don't really do dine in, which doesn't matter for most but might for some looking for more of an experience instead of just a meal. If you are looking for an experience with your wings, I recommend dining in at Buffa Louie's. I would describe the quality of their wings as higher than one would expect from delivery wings. Their wings are good sized (a necessity for some) and their sauces are decent. I would not describe their wings as amazing, again it is a delivery establishment, however they definitely hit the spot late at night when hanging out with friends or on game day when no one wants to go out for food. Overall I would say if you like wings and are looking for a delivery place that is consistent and good, look no further than Wings Xtreme, and if you are looking for a sit down experience try Buffa Louie's. read more

Ordered online and it took almost 30 minutes after I ordered for my food to be ready. They apologized which helped, but the fact I could see employees eating pizza behind the counter made the apology seem a little pointless We ordered boneless wings, mini corndogs, and a buffalo grilled chicken salad. Both the boneless wings and the grilled chicken were dry beyond reason. No matter how much ranch or sauce I put on the chicken, the flavor was horrible. Luckily they put the grilled chicken on the side so the salad was salvageable, and the mini corndogs were decent, but I had to throw the chicken out. I wouldn't have minded, but the fact that the employees were joking around eating pizza while I waited seemed a little off putting. I would recommend to just save your money and go someplace else. I don't know why I keep coming back here to eat. I think I'm hoping it will miraculously change. Every time I eat or order food from here something goes wrong. Last time they got my order wrong and I only found out after I got back to work and the time before that it took them two hours to deliver because no one checked the online delivery system. This time I ordered again online for delivery. I was fully expecting to wait over an hour (and I did), but when I had my food delivered to me, the mozzarella sticks were burnt! BURNT! He said he owned the place and that there was nothing he could do to reverse the charge. The veggie wings are terrible. They're just morning star chicken nuggets - the kind you can buy from Kroger for like five bucks - with a side cup of sauce. Does not compare to Buffalouie's fake chicken, which is excellent. On the contrary, Buffalouie's raised the price of their veggie wings. I had eaten at Wings Xtreme once many moons ago and remembered it to be pretty good, so I was looking forward to going again. Boneless wings in two different flavors were just bland -- like those tasteless Tyson breaded chicken blobs you get in the freezer section, slightly warmed and then doused in sauce. And the "Bosco Pizza Sticks" were just pepperoni-and-cheese Hot Pockets and way overpriced at that. Very disappointing. All my toppings sat on the side including one packet of yellow mustard, one packet of mayonnaise, and a handful of ketchup. Cafeteria style. This place is great! I like their wings a lot better than Buffa Louies- definitely better quality. Their sauce is amazing, not too much. I'm a total puss about spice levels, so I got the ranch sauce. The flavor wasn't overwhelming but still amazing. My friend got one of the spicy buffalo sauces and said that it was great. We ordered delivery and the wings were here within a half an hour. I'd recommend the fries as well- definitely super good. This is totally my new wing place. read more

Buyer Beware is their response if you have an issue with your food. I have eaten there over ten times via carry out and the wings were fine. Today's were not. The wings were soggie on the outside and dry on the inside. I spoke with the manager (no name tag with Red hair) and he informed me that their policy is to never return money or replace the product.
