These wings were as dry as the Sahara desert. Each bite felt like biting into a chewy rubber chicken. To top it off, the sauces (we got 3, bbq, and Thai chili) were horribly bland. The Thai chili was the only palatable one - the 3 had no flavor - and bbq tasted like it was from bottle of generic bbq sauce from Walmart. The waffle fries were good, but this is a wings restaurant made to satisfy wings cravings so it gets 1 star. read more

The wings at 3 starts were great. Crinkle fries too !!! I was there with my grand-daughters and son-in-law. Our waiter/ress was Linsay V. and she was very kind and patient with the 2 children and understood how kids can be. She was also very efficient and responsible. My good friend is a wing fiend, so we stopped here during my recent vacation in Seattle. He's been once before, so we decided to try it again. We walked in, grabbed a table, and it seemed to take quite a while for the waitress to come over and initially check on us and take our drink orders. When she finally did come to our table, we just decided to order everything at once... not wanting to risk it being way, Way, WAY too long until we saw her again. We ordered, and my friend included waffle fries in his order. A few minutes later, our waitress came back to say they were out of waffle fries. Really? That seems like a basic item to ensure you have in your inventory. It wasn't particularly busy there either, but whatever. I ordered the pickle chips and we figured we would just split them. We both also ordered wings (I love honey mustard wings, so I was excited to try them here), and I ordered the "Transmission Fluid" cocktail. A bit later, a different waitress server comes to our table...with the wrong food. My friend and I both reply that no...we didn't order any of that. The waitress/server gives this exhausted and exasperated sigh, then says she'll have to check with the kitchen. About 5 minutes later, she comes back out with our order. Sadly, my wings were fairly bland. The mustard-y zest I was looking for didn't exist. Also, there was definitely some residual oil on the pickle chips. They were so layered in the basket that the pickle chips on the bottom ended up soggy from the excess oil of those on top. While my drink was okay, I wasn't impressed with the wings or service here. It feels really disorganized. Considering that and the bland taste of the wing sauce? I'm just not in any rush to return - and there have got to be better places for wings in Seattle. read more

I've been to this Wingdome on Greenwood Ave in Seattle MANY TIMES now. It's walking distance from my place. Last several times I e been there, I be worked with a woman named Hailey, (she may spell it differently), and a guy named Sean, (or Shawn?), and a guy named Tony. They all three have bees great to work with. No matter how busy it is, how behind the eightball they are, they've treated me as if I was their only customer. That doesn't always happen these days. But..each of these folks are great. I seriously LOVE the wings, (max #5 for me), and the burgers are killer. It was suggested I get a #3 or 4 sauce on the side with my Wingdome Burger. Smart idea. I'm a woosie as far as heat and food I eat. As a friend always tells me, "food should NOT cause you pain!" But I do watch 20-somethings do the Wingdome 7-Alarm Challenge. Ha! I'm back!!! Just stopped at the Wing Dome today to see if they are still putting out a quality product. Plus, I am the biggest wing fanatic known to man! I have to mention that I was the "Lord Of The Wings" and won a Wing Dome chicken wing eating competition a few years ago. You would have thought I would have left after the completion full? Nope! Ordered a few pounds of wings to take home after. So, arrived at Greenwood today, and entered the beautiful location. All the windows and doors were open, giving a sweet breeze as temps are rising finally. Brought the wife and kid, and we were starving! The server was sweet as pie, and got our orders right away! Tuesday of course has a special, purchase a meal and kids eat free! Score! The wife ordered a bloody mary. She was very impressed with it! She is not easy to please since her father owns a tavern, so for it to put a smile on her face? Priceless! I took a sip of it and was wowed. Of course I got a soda, and kiddo wanted water. Drinks were great. I love my wings soaking wet in sauce. I mean, I literally can drink the sauce it's so good! My 5 alarm wings came out, and they were absolutely gorgeous! Buffalo Wild Wings is a joke when compared to The Wing Dome wings! These wings are like gold to me. Every single bite is just pure bliss, and so comforting. They have a good amount of heat to them, and they come out so fresh, the steam comes off of them. I cant tell you how much I love The Wing Dome folks. They make their sauce from scratch! I have seen them make the sauce, and it's just so amazing how much work goes into making their sauces! My wife of course had the Bigger Badder Cheese wings. They are just so rich, and gooey in such a comforting way! She literally ate every single wing on her plate, and that was "2 pounds!" LOL! I have created a wing monster here. To go with the wings, we had fries. Of course they come out hot, and pair amazingly with the wings. How much do I love the Wing Dome? Well, I travel from Auburn to Greenwood, and that is easily a 45 minute drive. I would even do it for a 2 hour drive. I have never walked out from the Wing Dome without a smile. I lived in Buffalo for a couple of years, so I know chicken wings. The Wing Dome is hands down the best Chicken Wing restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. I have traveled all over Oregon, Washington, and Idaho in search of good wings. Did I mention the wings taste even better during a football or baseball game? Yep, plenty of televisions to see the games. I ordered 2 pounds of wings to take home, and of course ordered an 8 ounce container of 5 alarm sauce to bring home. Nothing beats The Wing Domes wings! They have perfected their sauces, and have the perfect chicken meat ratio to their wings. I highly encourage anyone who hasnt had their wings to get there. This place knocks Buffalo Wild Wings and Wingstop to the ground. Straight out TKO in the first round. They have more than wings by the way!!! Stopped in for a quick meal and a cocktail after a long day and grabbed a seat at the bar. I was joyfully greeted by Sean, the bartender, and was well taken care of while I was there. He was so helpful and attentive. He recommended the cheese curds as his favorite appetizer, of which I ordered and they were so good! If you're looking for a decent quality of sauce and selection of sauce stop by. If you're looking for smaller wings that are broken and have none fragments from other wings - this is also your place. If you're looking for great wings and service - try somewhere else. As far as service, I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly, but once she took my order and my food came out - she was non existent and no one else came by to check on me. When I was about one fry away from finishing my meal, she came back and I pointed out the number of bone fragments I crunched on when attempting to enjoy the wings. Not caring too much about my dissatisfaction or offering any resolution, the non existent bartender said "I hate when that happens" pointing at the bone fragments on my plate. Without a mention of apathy or apologizing about the quality of my wings, she asks if I wanted another beer and hands me my full priced check. most expensive disappointment. my boyfriend and I had been waiting for a while to eat here and I wish we would have never gone. we live in the community and we were walking by earlier today when we decided to finally try it. we tried the level 3 pictured here and it tastes so bland that I forgot I was eating a wing. it has the flavor of a fettuccine alfredo sauce and 3x the oil which made it look even more awful. we also tried the level 6 which was just as equally disappointing. it tastes like wet cayenne pepper. and the side sauce, which I can only guess is a bbq, SOMEHOW tastes like banana. i'd say you're better off going to a wing stop. buffalo wild wings would truly win in taste + quality + flavor by a landslide! read more

This place was PACKED when we came by on a Thursday night, and it took a while for someone to get to us and seat us which wasn't pleasant for our grumbling bellies but we understood the servers were really busy. We ordered 2 orders of wings (7-8 wings @ $9.99) with Bigger Badder Cheese (similar to your typical Garlic-Parmesan) and Thai Sweet Chili sauces. The wings were pretty small and overcooked. The Gar-Par flavor was bland while the Thai Sweet Chili was decent. We combo'd both the orders (+ $4.99 for salad + half order of fries, +$1 extra for waffle fries) which balanced out the meal for us. The waffle fries were pretty good but the whole meal was a bit pricey considering the size of the wings. We did, however, enjoy the atmosphere here. It's sports-bar-like so we got to enjoy March Madness games in a fun/loud-ish environment, and we were pleasantly surprised by how incredibly attentive and kind our server was (shout out to Wolf!). read more

We've also been to the WD in Kirkland and went to the one on University Ave when it was open. My husband won a wing eating challenger here about 9 years ago. His nickname was "Big Cheese". ;) So there is the history. Now for the review: If you like hot wings this is the place for you. You have your choice of heat from 0-7. I can't imagine eating anything less than a 3 or anything more than a 5, 4 being the perfect heat for me. They also have at least 10 "flavors" of wings including a garlic cheese, BBQ, Jamaican Jerk, Thai, etc. The food here isn't cheap. You might think it would be by looking at the place, a converted garage. Monday is the day to go. $.69 wings. Back in the day they were $.25 a wing on Mondays. They also have lunch specials which is a good way to try them. The Entertainment Book normally has coupons for buy one get one free too. Great burgers & sandwiches. About 10 beers on tap + bottles & cans of beer & hard liq. Today I tried the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich for the first time as I wasn't in the mood for wings. It was a great sandwich & being Monday it was $8.99 instead of $9.99. It came with a good amount of crispy crinkly cut french fries. Hubby got 12 4 alarms & 12 5 alarms. They charge $.69 each for a blue cheese or ranch dressing. The ranch dressing today tasted like a bottled cheap dressing.
