I'll really give this place 4.5 stars, and only .5 less because I wish the drinks had been a bit cheaper :(. However, the food selection is awesome, tasty, drinks were good, outdoor seating was awesome, and they have fun events like trivia! The inside is way cooler than your average dive bar. Our bartender was very nice and I will be coming back for sure!

I came here to pick up a takeout order for myself and was very surprised by the place, in a good way though. This is a grown up nerd bar lol, it's packed with really cool vintage and new pinball machines that you can play. The tv situation to watch games is great if you're into football or soccer, hockey whatever it's great! The selection at the bar is very decent and the bartender is a very cool and funny guy who complimented my BB-8 (Starwars) debit card. I ordered a meatball sub and some mozzarella sticks. I don't think there's a person on this planet who can complain about deep fried cheese, it was the highlight of my day. Now the meatball sub was very good, there's an Italian sausage and beef chuck mixture and the fennel is apparent. They did go a little tame on the amount of sauce so I will order more on the side for future reference but the meatballs are seasoned well and the sauce is very good. The atmosphere here is good and it wasn't loud at all. Funny and very nice people. 10/10 recommendation!

False advertising the owner said been up precovid, I've been overcharged on Tuesdays, definitely everyday though. $4 pbr wtf

To start I'm a former chef and server. With 20 years of experience in the greater Seattle area including wineries, fine dining, concert catering and below. So what's my problem with the houndstooth? It's an expensive dive bar. The food is ok, but the problem is what they charge for cheap beer. A six pack of pbr is 7.17 at my local gas station and I'd rather have that at my house than at the tooth. They charge $4 for a 16oz pbr. That's a 240% markup. I suggest recommending to the owner get the 24oz cans and I pay $4 for that and it's disregarded by the bartender and the cook is laughing. I've been frequenting this place for months since it's close to work. On their website they advertise $2.50 tall boys on tuesdays. On a Tuesday and I'm being served by the owner I show him his website and all I get is a "that was precovid" so I call false advertising on that sorry you were lazy or greedy, but honor your advertised price when it's being show to you and you haven't updated your site. Beyond that the crowd, from my experience, is your typical gentrification crowd. Mostly white paying lip service to minorities. If a minority disagrees with their assessments they get rude and disrespectful. Sorry, but when I've been going there for months and very occasionally see another person of color it's pretty obvious that you don't care to listen to us. The whole place from staff to clients reeks of gentrification and should not be supported. It's a dive bar it's not particularly special or entertaining and the crowd is just pretending to be socialist while heavily pursuing capitalist lifestyles. I'll take this down when I get an apology from the owner, the female bartender and the cook. Until then expect to see me with a sign in front of your establishment. If your rent is to high do you think mine isn't? I can't afford $4 16oz pbr. And I can't afford rent because you play into the rental market scam that plagues Seattle and is a detriment to minorities. Seattle get it right, you claim to be blue but you are red wolves in disguise.

Things to love about Hounds Tooth: 18 beers on tap Mini corn dogs Great service Pin ball machines 7 TVs and a gigantic pull down screen Did I mention mini corn dogs? I hear they have other food but I stick with the corn dogs. In any case, would recommend this spot if you're trying to relax and watch sports ball. Things not to love about Hounds Tooth: Nothing. Go. Now.

Stopped in on my birthday. Had fast nice service and ordered off the happy hour menu. The meatballs were pretty hard and seemed overlooked but the chicken wings were delicious! Super hot sauce but so tasty! Beer super cold and love the selection of IPA's. My friend loves this place a nice home bar feel. Excited to come back and upgrade to five stars

Great bar to watch sports games! We came here today to watch the final four games. They have multiple TVs and large projector. They also have various pin-Ball machines. Their beer and cider selection is great! Their menu is also good. We got the mini corn dogs, only $7, mozzarella sticks, and a friend got their grilled cheese and tomato soup. Great service, always came by to check on our drinks and food. I highly recommend coming here. They also have some outdoor seating.

Decent enough. Happy hour specials are pretty good. You get a lot of bacon cheesy tots for $5. Also the pound of wings are a good value... Nice plump wings, I got mostly drummettes. I also ordered with buffalo sauce on the side, to keep the wings crisp and to dunk some into sriracha. The parking situation isn't the best, and it's 21+ so not family friendly. But they do have pinball.

Philly cheese steak MMMM YUM even the coleslaw was amazing. Tasted like seawater!

Pinball machines! Lots of them! An oK tap list and not great food. We had fun, though. Glad they're in the neighborhood.

Monday is a busy day as it is ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR and there are real happy hour savings here. How about a cheeseburger with a generous side of fries for $8.95????? The fries were great, hot and crispy, with sides of ketchup and spicy ranch. The burger was real and honest, two of my highest compliments for a cheeseburger. Made to order exactly right. Bun was toasted and smeared with aioli and had a nice crisp. Solid toppings of lettuce, two slices of tomatoes, red onion, and several pickle chips. These were presented on the side so I could dress the burger as I liked. The whole thing was delicious. I had a well gin and tonic at the HH price of $8.95. Overall, a very good meal and a great deal. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, the busy bartender acknowledged me as soon as I sat down, and I was immediately drawn into conversation by the regulars on either side of me. As I often eat out solo, I'm used to striking up conversations with strangers, but I didn't have to make much effort here. Fun company! Solo eaters are welcome. I'll be back and I definitely recommend!

We were promptly greeted, grabbed a booth with its own TV, and got the first round of drinks going. While service lagged a bit through the stay I have a hard time complaining too much. To be honest we were a bit slower drinkers compared to some of the patrons, so I can see why were left a bit to our own. The food was outstanding. My wife crushed the quesabirria tacos (such bright and floral tasting shredded beef) and I had an incredibly tasty and overly filling Cod fish and chips. The only complaint I can really lob is towards the restroom space. Forgive me a minutes for getting on a soapbox here - but what is it about sprots bars and restrooms? I get that guys (and gals) can be pigs. I also get that this is a low priotity / non revenue generating space. But could you please spend just a little time / money on bleach, paint, and some decent fixtures? I know people are AWFUL and are always destroying things, no matter how well built and durable it is. But I just hate it when bars and resturants fail to update restrooms. Buckely was no exception. The excellent food quality sticker on the doors, the service and drink choice (and the outstanding meal on my table) speak to your ability to put together great quality and safety processes in the kitchen. It would be great if you could spend a bit of that same effort in bring up the standard in restroom. OK rant off! Great place and we will be back regardless.

These are the best cheese curds ever bc the batter isn't heavy like other cheese curds I've had. It's tempura battered so it's light and you can taste the cheese more. The jalapeño strawberry dip and ranch are good dips, but try them together and it will blow your mind. The fried green beans were okay. They did have a heavier batter on them and I wish they had the same batter the cheese curds had. The spicy dip was good! The rosemary popcorn was delicious! It had just enough butter and the perfect amount of rosemary where it's not overpowering. Once you get to the bottom, there's tons of butter and you just dip and soak it up with the popcorn. Also, PATTI was AMAZING!!!! She checked in on us throughout the evening. She's very sweet and I will be back bc of Patti!

I visited on Super Bowl Sunday, about 2-3hrs before the game to get seats. This was a good idea because there was only a handful of seats available. We were lucky enough to get a table for 4 of us. The hosts were very welcoming and go us seated at the bar when it was only two of us. When we informed them about an hour prior to kick off that we needed two more seats, they did their best to get us seated. It was very kind of them to even look around, let alone actually find us space. This was very much appreciated. The first hour or so, when there was only two of us, we had a few beers, the cheese curds and the chicken fried steak with potatoes. The beers were exactly what you think they would taste like and they weren't terribly expensive which was nice. The cheese curds were a great shareable item, good flavor and a fair amount of them. The chicken fried steak was good, nothing crazy, but not below average. Portion was good sand it was cooked right to have that nice crips on the outside with the gravy poured over top. I think the only thing I wasn't that big of a fan of was the potatoes, I should've opted for the tots or hash potatoes instead, but I'll have to try it again. Yes, I would recommend this place. Seems like a good place to meet with friends for a game and meet friends. I almost forgot to mention they have an outside area in the back was is covered so there's more than enough space to maneuver and enjoy your time.

I made a reservation ahead of time, but when we got there around 8 pm we realized we probably didn't need one because it was seat yourself and still pretty open. No complaints though, it made it easy to grab a table and settle in. The vibe was cool. Definitely a sports bar feel with TVs around, and as the night went on the DJ started getting set up which I can imagine makes it a fun spot on a Friday night for people meeting up after work or hanging out with friends. We decided to share a few things so we could try a little bit of everything. We ordered the catfish bites, lemon pepper wings, garlic parmesan wings, and macaroni and cheese. I'll start with the positives because the service was great. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. Food-wise, it just didn't totally hit for me. The catfish bites had a really tasty batter, but the texture threw me off a little. I personally like my catfish cooked a little harder, and these were a bit soft for my liking. The lemon pepper wings were a little too salty for me, and the wings themselves weren't cooked quite the way I like them. I tend to like my wings cooked a little harder, so these felt a bit soft and bulky to me (if that makes sense). The garlic parmesan wings were okay flavor-wise, but still similar in texture. The macaroni and cheese was okay. Nothing bad, just pretty standard. The menu itself has a good mix of comfort food and bar favorites like chicken and waffles, shrimp & grits, burger & fries....so there are definitely options to try. Overall, the service were great, the vibe was cool and I can definitely see this being a fun spot once the DJ gets going and the place fills up. The food just didn't quite land for me personally this time. I gave it 3 stars, but if Yelp allowed half stars it would probably be closer to a 3.5 for me. I'd still be open to coming back and trying a few other things on the menu.
