Visited for drinks on a Friday night before an East football game. The place was busy but well organized. They had enough staff to work the crowds and were super friendly. We had the fall mule with caramel, apple cider, cinnamon and ginger and it was delicious. Great job by the windfield staff. Parking can be challenging so suggest looking it up ahead of time.

It seemed driving by like a lively spot. I decided to come today. I was promptly seated below a lighted Christmas Wreath. Nice Guinness and Signature Burger. The burger is delicious, huge with a side of Home Potato Chips. I will return for other dishes.

There is a $1.30 fee just to order take-out. Add a credit card fee on top of that. I ordered the Chicken French and it came with a soup (chicken pot pie). They forgot to pack my soup, so I had to go back to get it. The Chicken French was alright; not enough sauce so it was kind of dry. The soup on the other hand was spectacular. They gave me a $5.00 gift card for coming back to get my food bc they forgot to pack it when I picked it up the first time, so that was nice of the host (I didn't even ask to be comped for coming back).

I would say our meal at Winfield Grill was great. We went in on a weeknight and we were met by nice servers, fast service and a fun atmosphere. They were very flexible when we had a baby and needed it add a person to our table. The food came out very hot and very quick. The only hard part of this great spot is finding a parking spot when it is busy. Great place in a great area.

This is my take on Blvd Grill (a.k.a., "The Boulevard") after having visited just once on Jan 4,…read more2026. My wife and I were looking for some place to go close by on Sunday evening. We thought we'd give Blvd Grill a shot. I would categorize Blvd Grill as a sports bar, as there was a row of TVs above and around the bar showing the games of local interest (Jets and Bills games). My wife and I aren't big sports fans, and we sat at a small casual table along the wall for dinner. The bar area, including high top tables was very busy with people obviously enjoying themselves, but there were plenty of available small dining tables for 2-6 people. TL;DR We were pleasantly surprised. In spite of the casual appearance, the food and drink were excellent. My wife ordered a glass of Riesling, which was semi-dry (I would actually peg right in the middle between dry and sweet) and was very smooth without that slight bite some Rieslings can have. I ordered a Blue Moon on tap. They had a small number of basic and IPA brews available. Not a large, but a reasonable selection. For dinner my wife ordered the Chicken French, which is one of her favorite dishes. She cooks this dish herself frequently, and is quite critical of how this dish is prepared when we go out. In this case, she was very pleased with it. I ordered a pesto cod dish that was on the menu. I found the cod tender and the dish overall very tasty without being overdone in flavor or cooking. As others have mentioned, the food isn't cheap, although on this particular night they were selling wings at $1/ea, but we didn't order wings. The main courses were in the $20-$30 range. Honestly, though, we've eaten at some higher end restaurants recently and Blvd Grill had them beat in terms of food quality in this case. The service was good. Our waitress was a young lady who was courteous and efficient. Maybe the food and service quality vary depending on the day or night, but based on our single experience, we'd definitely visit Blvd Grill again.

Sat at the bar and my bartender was amazing, super welcoming and friendly which always sets the tone. The bartenders working that evening were so friendly and informative! It really added to our experience to sit and chat with friendly staff who could talk us through our choices since we were basically completely new to NA cocktails. I tried The Pear Necessities, which was very bright, full, and fruity. My fiance tried the Dark Crystal, which has NA mezcal and bitters -- he really enjoyed it but those flavors are super overwhelming for me, but that just goes to show they have something for everyone flavor profile-wise. We were also super curious about the different types of NA spirits, so we talked to the bartenders about the differences in "functional" spirits, like nootropics and adaptogens. We were offered a few small samples of some of the lions mane derived spirits, which prompted us to buy a few small bottles off their shelf selection to take home. Which, speaking of bottles, they had plenty to choose from. I also loved that AltBar had such a full and engaging event calendar. I'm keeping an eye on their social media pages for their updates for March, it seems like such a great community gathering space and Rochester is fortunate to have this business added to our landscape.

Our table got free shots because one member of the party was celebrating her birthday at Easy Sailor (she also received leis around her neck). Cons: Expensive. Small portions. Food is OK, but not worth the cost. Drinks are VERY expensive. The vegan appetizers are coconut sticky rice, sesame garlic vegetables, and kung pao cucumbers. There is one vegan entrée: Spamfu fried rice. The coconut sticky rice was decent, but not filling. And it's hard to eat it without making a big mess, because they foolishly serve it to you in a small, overstuffed dish with no plate under it. So when you dig into the ball of rice with your fork, you end up dislodging bits of it all over the table. They really need to figure out a better way to serve it. The sesame garlic vegetables were quite good (better than the rice), but also not filling. My wife had the Spamfu, which was a surprisingly small portion given that it's billed as an entrée. The vegan bits of "Spam" were cubes of marinated tofu, and there wasn't much of it. Given that tofu and rice are both cheap, the cost of that dish was pretty outrageous. And speaking of outrageous costs, the fancy drinks were priced astronomically high. The menu is written in a small font and is hard to read, especially given the dim lighting in the restaurant. I had to use my iPhone to take pictures of it, so I could magnify the photos on my screen. The water carafes are impractical. They have very long, thin necks, which means you can't put ice in them -- and they tend to block your view of other people sitting at the table. They don't hold much water, so you have to keep asking the server to refill them. And the water glasses are too small. The restaurant really needs to get bigger (but squatter) carafes that hold ice, and they need better water glasses. If you're not especially hungry and money is no object, then maybe Easy Sailor is right for you. Otherwise, I'd skip it.

If you aren't a Tiki connoisseur you should still check it out for their unique take at South Asian and East Asian cuisine. The drinks are stellar. Very refreshing and smooth. Gotta remind yourself to go easy on them or you might find yourself very drunk very soon. The food is good. I wish some of the dishes came with the option to have a side of rice instead of ordering it separately. The mood, aesthetic and vibes hit you right including the decor and lighting. Take a moment to look around and above you to appreciate the art and craft mounted on the walls. Even the wallpapers contribute to the Tiki vibe. It's well done. Sean took care of us the whole time we were there. He is so warm, welcoming, patient and ready to give you suggestions from the menu based on what you need. Importantly Sean is attentive and makes sure your specific needs are taken care of. As for Drinks, Mai Tai- 4/5 It was a pretty well balanced Mai Tai. It is a strong smooth drink. Sherrykiller- 4/5 I liked the balance of flavors and how the sours managed to hold their own in this drink. Boomslang Fang- 4.5/5 Another smooth yummy drink. The flavors complement each other. Boozy Shipless- 4/5 Well presented. Tropical flavors through and through which I loved. I was not a fan of the garnish on top at first but it grew on me eventually. Now the food, We started with Sesame Garlic Brussels sprouts. 4/5 for that dish. Beautiful flavor. Well roasted sprouts. Coconut Sticky Rice- 5/5 Perfect rice. Well made. Well presented. The salty and the sweet flavors have wonderful chemistry. The rice was the right amount of fluffy and soft. Mandarin Tea Chicken- 4/5 Very yummy. Chicken was wonderful. I wish it came with rice and had more lean white meat as it seemed that it had more fatty dark meat. Jaffna Shrimp Curry- 4/5 Wonderful dish. The shrimp was well made. Perfectly cooked. The lentils could be more softer. The sauce was beautiful and combined all aspects of this dish perfectly. I'm not sure what leaves they used for garnish. I hoped to see curry leaves in there given the South Asian roots of this dish but alas they weren't there. Nonetheless it was a wonderful meal.
