They place was less fancy than the name but it was still a pretty neat place. The tables were small so I imagine it would be hard to have a big group of people out to dinner. However, I did love that they had a live band playing! I went on a Friday night so I'm not sure how common this is. I ordered the antipasto which had 4 different cheeses, dates, and deli meat-- this was great with wine (we just got the house white). The goal cheese was perfect. We ordered the classic pepperoni pizza as well as a steak and cheese. The pizzas came out way late due to a mix up but they paid for one of our drinks to make up for it! The steak pizza looked like there was a salad on top of it, though. The pepperoni was good-- but I'd definitely come back fro the antipasto. read more

If I could give 6/5 stars I would. This place is a gem in Niagara Falls NY and is lead by local community members who are incredible leaders of culture and food in the area. We were in Niagara for a long weekend to visit the Falls (both US and Canada side). We visited on a Friday evening and got the scallops, pizza, and mussels. We had no plans to return again (according with our original plans) but we couldn't resist returning again on Sunday evening. The wait staff is incredible, the ambiance is fantastic. The scallops are the best we've ever had (and we are Philly foodies). Caroline (who we would write an entire separate review about if we could) is the manager and she is absolutely a star. Her passion for NY Niagara is contagious and have never met a more inviting person. We are excited to see how this town continues to revamp itself. Cheers to her and Hats off to Wine on Third! We hope to return one day and will absolutely make this a stop on our road trip. read more

Was really fancy smancy. It was good but not worth the money.

Dinner was amazing. I had a cranberry salad and the 5 veggie ravioli, my husband had blue cheese salad and scallops and my son had house salad and chicken quesadilla. And they shared the mussels. Everything was delicious and the service was incredible. I will definitely come back if we are in town again. read more

The food was amazing. Ordered four tapas for dinner - blue cheese bruschetta, scallop risotto, mussels and mahi mahi tacos. Just the right amount of food for two people. read more

The food was fantastic. We had tapas and they were delicious. The Thai shrimp with risotto is a new favorite. The service was exceptional. Not because it was perfect but because the waiter seemed to honestly care about doing a good job and exceeded my expectations. read more

The place was wonderful in all aspects to start the serving staff was top notch. Always on task and readily available. The food was AMAZING the best part of the experience. The way it was presented made it look just as good as it tasted, you could enjoy a three course meal and be fully satisfied after eating. There wine selection was had an abundance of choices that the servers were aware of for any questions. One of my favorite things about the restaurant is that they had local art that you could purchase hanging up all around. Live music, candles lite, perfectly dimmed lights, and the food was delivered at a prefect time were all a part of what made the experience so great. While I would love to give this place 5 stars the only thing holding it back for me was the initial entrance. The actual restaurant side wasn't visible when you first walked in and you had to wander slightly before someone would approach you to ask about reservations or seating. The menu itself didn't offer too much of a variety. Also the portions were not that large for a full priced entree. If given the opportunity I would greatly return and recommend to anyone in the area looking for fine dining that isn't commercial or corporate. read more

I took pasta (more than 20 dollars) and was just boiled and with olive oil added - wouldn't not recommend (visited on 3 Sept). Other food might be good here but definitely not pasta read more

We stopped for a night in Niagara Falls during a road trip and were lucky enough to stumble into this hidden gem. It is a fantastic option in a sea of fast food chains- the atmosphere was wonderful- trendy but not overwhelmingly so. Its a great date spot, but they also were easily able to accommodate my husband and infant in a stroller. I had the tuna sashimi which I loved, and true to the name, they also had a fantastic wine list. Would absolutely stop here again if we're in the area. read more

Aimen or Aman, amen...however the managers name is spelled is reason for the 2 star review. We are a group of 11 visiting the falls....this place was recommended and after reviewing the menu we loved it. We arrive at 810 for an 8pm reservation, transportation provided by the restaurant was running late but Kurt was great very friendly and helpful. Upon arriving we were seating promptly by our server Logan, who was amazing. He was extremely attentive, good sense of humor, honest and easy going. It was a busy night, however the restaurant was well aware of the party of 11. We did not receive our first order or tapas, salads, and soup until an hour and a half later. LogAn made sure we had our drinks filled, quickly removed empty plates and glasses, he apologized for the wait. Our entrees took another 45 min to arrive and 2 of our pizzas were given to another table. Those pizzas took an additional 30 minutes. And although Logan was apologetic and we had to ask for bread during the initial hour And a half wait he immediately brought it out. Not once did his manager come to the table to apologize, check in or give an update as to why the food was taking a long time. We actually had to find him in the restaurant to tell him what happened. He apologized and said the pizzas would be comped, they were not because apparently he does not know how to communicate with his staff. After one of the individuals in our party spoke to him he still did not come to the table to apologize to the group. He gave Logan no guidance or support. The pizzas were actually not comped we paid for them. We were given $5 discount from our driver which we could not use. And although we were promised we would be driven back to our airbnb the driver told us the battery was no longer charged. Kurt was great, food was great, we LOVED Logan, but the kitchen staff were extremely slow. However we do not blame the kitchen staff, it is not their fault their manager is incompetent. read more

My wife and I decided to try a place that we haven't been to before but have heard good things about. I must say that we can agree. Our server Dave was very nice and attentive and the food was amazing also. We will definitely return. read more

Delicious food, fun atmosphere, very convenient location. Jonah, our waiter, was excellent (very accommodating, friendly, genuinely happy) which made for an enjoyable evening with friends. We did wait over an hour for our appetizers and second round of drinks did take a bit to come to the table as well, which is why I didn't feel I could rate 5 stars read more

We visited Wine on Third on a Tuesday night and were highly impressed...wine selection outstanding and food was very good too! Don't be misled by the simple decor. The food is complex and well executed. The Grilled Caprese Salad was a wonderful stack of perfectly grilled vegetables and creamy fresh mozzarella perfectly seasoned with a vibrant fresh pesto and balsamic reduction. The Grilled Chicken Panini containing grilled chicken, bacon, Swiss cheese with a bright fresh lemon aioli sandwiched between thick slices of crunchy bread was one of the best I've ever eaten. Do leave room for the refreshing house-made sorbet. Both our server and the chef were charming, efficient and friendly. Make sure to check this delightful restaurant out. read more

Every time I come to the falls I have to visit! The food and customer service is top notch!

Wine on Third was recommended by a local resident and we took her word for the quality. We were not disappointed! We had the stuffed date appetizer, broccoli cheddar soup and chicken panini. Every dish was exceptionally executed and the service matched the quality of the food in excellence. read more

Wine on third really tries hard to impress. They always fix up their menus to suit the guests needs. Other than the food getting 5 stars, the very articulate server Eamon is fantastic. Other than his choice of woman, he is all about customer service and giving people a magical evening. read more

we were excited to try this place based on the yelp reviews which I always find to be spot on. The spot is nice and the wine was great, unfortunately they just changed the menu and need to work on some selection before serving to the public. The homemade gnocchi was light and fluffy but then ruined by using more lemon and lemon rind then should be allowed on pasta, can't imagine a chef creating this dish. Inedible. Such a shame, I wish they tasted their food before sending it out. Far less lemon and rounded out with some cheese and it had potential to be amazing. Server was very nice. Can't take it out on him. read more

Rating the food I would give 4.5 stars. However the service was very poor so I give them 3. Waiter was very unorganized and slow, waited 10 minutes for salt pepper and ketchup. Decided to go and stop another waiter and got it myself. While cashing out we asked the waiter to split the bill over two cards and the waiter confirmed back to us to split it down the middle. We received the two separate charge slips back to sign; upon looking closer the waiter charged the same card twice. Rather than complaining we determined if we asked to have it corrected the guys mind would have blown and he'd have tweaked out. We left as soon as we could. My advice is to go across the street to "the Craft". They seemed more adept with how to service customers. read more

OMG!!! my husband and i just ate 6 tapas dishes plus a dessert, while drinking the best sangria, and are now in awe at the most delicious food we ever tasted. everthing was so flavorful, which is why we couldn't help but continue to order more dishes! each one was a feast for our tastebuds. Our server was tremendously attentive, and uncannily friendly. While this place could be snooty b/c it's very chic and has high-class food and feel, it is warm and welcoming and a great place to enjoy close company and excellent food and drink. We had 6 or 7 tapas dishes, and are confident that they are all just as surprising and delicious. read more

I would highly recommend this place. I looked to Yelp to find good food because the area seems less than promising. I loved it. I had a glass of wonderful wine, chorizo empanadas, and lasagna. Everything was perfect and the service was great. Also, the chocolate molten cake was amazing, which surprised me because normally I am not a fan. read more

Tried this place out after buying a Groupon and it was wonderful. Had the Havarti Mac & Cheese, Chicken Satay, Greek Fries, and the Cranberry Salad. The Havarti Macaroni and cheese is unlike anything I've ever tried. Phenomenal! I will be returning! My fiancé and I decided to eat at Wine on Third right after he had proposed. The food was out of this world and the wine was great. Our waiter came by the table to take our drink and food order at the same time (we got our wine, never got the water we ordered) we then had our food and drinks and check delivered by another waiter, ours never came to the table again. We would have ordered more drinks and desert but were never spoken to while we dined. read more

I selected this place for a girlfriends Christmas dinner. Seated immediately, got our bottle of wine & menu's right away, but after about 30 minutes I needed to find our waiter. Ordered soup, no one got it. Dinners came & we asked for bread, were told the kitchen didn't have time. Ordered the Pappardelle, which was actually lasagna noodles. Service was horrible, food has become average for the price. read more

My boyfriend and I were on vacation in Niagara Falls, NY for a last minute weekend getaway. Since it was out of season, and kind of a small town to begin with, a lot of things were closed and we stumbled upon this place. The wine list was great and we each really enjoyed the wine we chose. I had an Italian Prosceco and he had a local Resiling. We decided to have two tapas and then entrees. We chose the asparagus and mussels and they were very good. For dinner he had the groper filet and it was really good. The flavors mixed so perfectly. I ordered the tuna sashimi entree but the waiter accidentally brought me the tapa. Not only did he bring a second tapa for me but he comped my entree because of the mistake. It was so nice of him. Also the tuna was so so good. Coming from the NYC area I was shocked at how much I enjoyed the food. It was a little pricey but the atmosphere was very nice and we had a very nice dinner. I would definitely recommend it. read more

A great place for dinner or a drink. Huge beverage selection and fantastic appetizers, with top-notch food on the "Pizza Bistro" side. great place. visited the depressing USA side in January since the prices are so low this time of year. great food and staff...just don't go for wines by the bottle. the cheapest wine around 20$ USD is actually a 5-6$ bottle of wine at your local store. read more

In a town full of pasta this is a welcome break!! Don't get me wrong I love italian food (Villellas is King!) but this place is a real gem. It is not what most people would expect from Niagara Falls. I love everything about Wine on Third and each time I go there it never disappoints. Most recently I went there and a live band was playing. It was quite charming and the art work (which the owner tells me changes monthly) created a wonderful date night for my husband and I. I highly recommend the scallops if they are available or gorgonzola bruchetta. read more
