I love Wine on Third. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is beautiful and friendly. There is frequently low key live music. The food is delicious. I tried the smoked chicken wings and they were tender- juicy- and seasoned perfectly. This is probably also the best burger in Niagara Falls. read more

In Niagara Falls for 4 nights and ate here twice. Food was amazing, service excellent with an extensive wine list. Atmosphere is lovely. Off the beaten tourist path. I can not recommend this establishment highly enough. read more

We visited Wine on Third on a Yelp recommendation on a Friday afternoon to grab a quick drink and snack and were pleasantly surprised to find a great bar with pretty darn good snacks. The decor is upscale in a downtown (name your big city) kinda way but still feels comfortably casual. The wine list is short but the Malbec we choose was outstanding. We got the Cheese plate and the Greek plate to share and they were both very good. The service was friendly and chatty and more like a neighborhood bar than the decor might suggest. The pricing is probably a touch high for the area but would not be out of place in downtown (name of your closest big city). All in all, a great place to hang, wind down, have a date, avoid the casino... read more

I was here recently on a weekend evening with a friend. We were visiting in town and were really disappointed with the lack of dining options. Everything seemed to be a burger chain! Enter Wine on Third. This is a great wine / tapas bar that feels out of place with the rest of the street. The wine list is pretty good, and there were plenty of good food options. We didn't get the pizza because neither of us eat dairy, but the table next to us had two, and they looked great. We ate by the bar, but there also seems to be a large dining room attached around the corner. read more

It was super busy, but the staff were friendly and the beer and wine selection was great! The music was the best I've ever heard in a bar/dinner setting. We had already eaten, so we can't speak to the food. If you're in Niagara a must stop. read more

This place is so warm and welcoming!! The main dining room isn't always open, but do not worry, the tapas menu is very satifying. The locals that hang out here make you feel like you walked into a real life "Cheers" and allow you to join in on the fun. The wine menu is affordable and expansive. The bartender Tim is a pleasure. The food was very satifying and unique. Try the lamb lollipops... amazing!! I would skip the flight of greens... it's just a few lettuce greens with mediocre dressing, but salad aside, this place is a perfect 10. Great place to eat at the bar because they set it with a placemat and make you feel at home, but also not as formal as a dining room. I see this as a great option for those dining alone. Liked the atmosphere, liked the food, liked the company. Cheers and good luck to Wine on Third. read more

Great place. Forget the chain restaurants and casinos. This place has excellent food and service. Live. Try something new.

We were in niagara 2 weeks ago, and not much was to be found that was open for anything, especially dinner. We came across this place on yelp and it looked okay so we decided to check it out. Service was really nice, the owners were actually at the bar and were very nice people, they said they missed their grandchildren so they were very nice to our 21 month old daughter. The chef was great and came out to tell us about our food, which was delicious and perfect. If we ever find ourselves back in Niagara we will be here for sure. read more

they dont have too much in outdoor seating, but I think i really liked this place cause of the nice couple that shared their table with us. There's more there to experience than I did. read more

It's official! Whenever I come to Niagara Falls, I am coming here for dinner. Great service and even better food. I had the sweet and spicy Thai shrimp and my fiancé had the grouper. My food was absolutely amazing; best meal I have ever had at a restaurant. My fiance's grouper was good - but didn't compare to the flavor/taste of my dish. We also split a Caesar salad and the chocolate lava cake - both great. Also, one of the sous chefs came out of the kitchen and checked in with every table in the restaurant - as we left, he was sitting with an older couple having a great conversation. Just amazing service. I will be back! read more

Great French onion soup and fabulous artichoke tapas plate nice atmosphere reasonable prices

The New york side of Niagra falls is far less developed than the canadian side and had we not been told about this place we might of eaten at the casino. Thankfully we did come here and it was great. Wines by the bottle and also by the glass are reasonable and the waiter knew what he was talking about. We went with about 4 tapas and found it to be plenty of food. Everything we ate was above expectations and in writing this review it has me wishing i lived closer to Niagara falls. read more

Good food and good wait staff. After a long day exploring Niagara Falls, my Mom and I decided to try Wine on Third. We weren't disappointed. We got the French onion soup, the salmon with vegetables and the roasted half chicken. The meat was wonderfully seasoned, the veggies weren't soggy (firm and fresh) and the soup was great. Definitely give it a try. read more

This place is a gem in the rough! Really. It's downtown NF and it's totally different than what you would expect! ...especially if you have been in other "bars" downtown. Hubby and I went in one night for drinks and tapas - we had heard that the plates were tapas-size and not to expect too much. Maybe we heard it toooooo much. We thought that the plates were perfect for a late-night snack/light dinner. I had the greek plate - hummus, olives, artichoke hearts, red pepper strips, olives, pita bread, and feta cheese; hubby got the bruchetta sampler - two pieces with tomatoes and balsamic (sp?) and two more with gorgonzola and honey. We both liked our plates and were able to share with each other. The wine list here isn't really extensive, I think that there was only one pinot grigo on the list and two cabernets. The quality of the wine, however, is good. We were impressed that we were only paying $8-$10 a glass. The service here is top-notch as well. We reserved a table on the tapas (read: bar) side of the restaurant, but when we walked in, it was set with cloth napkins, nice wine glasses, and the tapas menu. And even though we went in late (our reservation was for 9pm), we got great service - there was never a time that we needed anything that the server / bartender wasn't right there for us....he even came to the table with the full wine bottle (!) to refill our glasses. It seemed very high class for NF. (sidenote here: reservations are HIGHLY recommended - I think that th ey only had three formal tables on the side of the restaurant that we sat on; but, even though you need to make reservations, we weren't at all out of place coming in wearing jeans!) We had a lot of fun here - we shared two plates, and between the two of us, I think we had 4 glasses of wine and our bill was about $60. We are looking for a place like this in North OC or LB (in California, where we live) so that we can "experience" it again at home!!!! :) read more

Great place. The food was great, you must get a pizza! Incredible craft pizzas. Good selection of wines and the ambiance is nice.

Didn't live up to my expectation but adequate. Decent wine and martini selection although the martinis served in champagne glasses which have that they were out of the proper glassware. Dining area small and rather cheesy. Food was decent but not extraordinary. Pricing structure raises the expectation level and it doesn't hold up to it. Imposter amongst wine bars. read more

Loved the food. Great chicken and salad!! Service is a little slow, but overall great experience!

Great local find! It can be tough to find non-touristy restaurants in Niagara; fortunately we found this one! Nice atmosphere, good food, great service. Recommend the Bourbon Glaze Pizza! read more

Very cute family owned establishment. We went yesterday for our last night in Niagara Falls and wished we would have found it sooner. Service was incredible, bartender was very personable. Cheese dish paired well with our wine! We started liking olives after this stop. Thank you! read more

Very good service and food. I was impressed on two separate visits. Jake is a truly excellent waiter that is concerned about your experience at this modern establishment. The strip steak I had melted in my mouth and the mushrooms were delicious! The martinis are awesome! read more

Great place to kick back for a glass of wine and appetizers after a long day of touring the falls!!! We had the spicy Thai shrimp and blue cheese crostini!! So amazing. The Leonard Oakes meritage is heavenly. Great service to boot. Loved it! read more

Travel to Niagara Falls quite a bit for work and this place is definitely a hidden gem.

Came here two nights ago and had the Scallop & Pork Belly Tapas and the French Onion Soup along with a glass of BEX Ringling ' very tasty. Came back tonight had the French Onion Soup (#AWESOME) and the Black end Red Snape with the house White Sangria all very good. Atmosphere is eclectic but friendly up and coming sort of place. Good find for an out of towner like me! read more

Great atmosphere, great staff, great food, great drinks. A breath of fresh air in the ghost town of Niagara Falls!

I don't usually order more than one item, but we ordered 5 off the menu- 2 appetizers, two salads, the tilapia with couscous, and finally, the dark chocolate with almond crust. Wonderful, light, flavorful, so far above other places in Niagra. Worth the walk over! The server was gracious, detailed, and worked hard to make sure everyone had what they needed! read more

I do not live in Niagara Falls currently, but I always make sure to stop in at least once every time I am in Niagara Falls. If you are visiting the falls and want a glass of wine and some delicious food this is a must. read more

My friend and I stopped here after a who,e day of exploring NY State Park at Niagara Falls. We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor dot com. We were there for Happy Hour. We enjoyed our experience. Tasty Happy Hour wine and shared Tapas. Emery the server gave us wonderful advice on food & tours. We enjoyed fish tacos, meatballs, asparagus and bruschetta. Delicious!!!!!! I would recommend anything be to make the short walk there & enjoy the great food & service. read more

The food was served too slowly. We waited for more than 40 min. Too slow service, and the food not value its price. Never order the steak and fries again...it's of a very small portion. We don't like it at all... read more

Very nice place. I had the catch of the day. Really delicious and nice wine to go with it. Very friendly staff and there was life music when I was there on a Saturday night. I would recommend it. read more

Got here with my wife and two kids. Kids behaved themselves well, so I don't even feel bad for leaving a terrible review. Sat down. Prompt waitress, but took our orders and we didn't see our food for another 60 minutes. Girls were getting restless. I'm patient. My wife is not, when it comes to service. Then they brought out our appetizers WITH dinner. I'm not sure who taught these people to do that. Their dinner model blows. Also, the pizza was burnt. Some char is good, but it shouldn't be the main flavor. Fries were too salty. Calamari was nasty. Half of it was light and crispy. The other half of it was dark and too much bread. Made me wonder if they re-fried the calamari. Disgusting. My mouth was raw after the double fried delight(calamari). I thought it was going to be a nice place to eat, classy. Turned out that it was a bunch of young wannabe hipsters who have no idea how to feed people for the money that they charge. As well, the prices are off the charts. I saw people coming in the restaurant and get guilty that I didn't stand at the door and ask them to quit while they were ahead. Please save yourself the heartburn, calories and self-esteem and don't eat here. For real. read more

Very cute, cozy bar right in the heart of Niagara Falls, NY. Bartender was super friendly and kept our drinks coming. We had the margarita pizza and it was delicious! I tried several wines and of course my usual Long Island and mixed drinks.. every drink was a hit! We hung with some locals and they were so nice and bought us drinks too. Definitely a good stop if you're in the area. read more

Arrived Niagara Falls late afternoon and after checking in at b and b walked down to view the falls. Became hungry and with starving child food was the priority. Had a local tourist map and recognized name of restaurant from previous yelp reviews. Wine on third lived up to its name. Delicious platters, crisp sav blanc and attentive service. Thanks! read more

Tapas and drinks after sightseeing. We had scallops which were seared perfectly and buttery tender. Risotto with corn was awesome. We also had the cheese plate with toasted pita. The server was outnumbered by guests but he was gracious and fast. A must do place. read more

Food was delicious, the place is really warming and fun to expend time but.... They are under staff. If you need anything will take longgggggggg....... Time. But even with this I will come back. Good place. read more

Six stars! The American side of the falls is quiet compared to the Canadian side, so we were surprised to find a place this nice. It's about a half mile walk from The Giacomo hotel - another interesting find there. There's a bar which is a little more lively, and a dining room which is calm and quiet. The menu has small plates, shared plates, sandwiches and entrees. We had the seared scallop risotto and the chicken quesadilla - both excellent. Yes, the menu is eclectic. Good wine and beer list, and quiet, competent service. Maybe if you're the super demanding type you could find fault here. We left feeling very pleased with Wine on Third. read more
