Had coconut shrimp and chicken quesadilla. They were good but nothing special. Also had mussels which were in a spicy sauce and scallops with risotto. Both of these were delicious plates. Didn't try the wine... Sorry not a fan. But seemingly had a great selection. The atmosphere was great. There was a husband and wife duo singing tonight and had everyone enjoying themselves. read more

Good food and ok service, but totally not a relaxing place for a nice dinner. Plus, they must have done something to piss off someone across the street. We tried having a nice dinner outside and was met with a horrible choice of recorded music while the neighbor across the street had speakers propped up in the windows playing some school fight song over and over and over again the entire time. Then, I walk inside and find a wonderful musical acoustic trio playing being drowned out by the recorded music and the fight song. No appreciation of how ambiance affects the meal. read more

Wine on Third Restaurant and Bar - Wine Bars Near Me - Niagara Falls, New York

Sous-Chef Faith Dyal clearly knows what she's doing. This woman made a blackened pesto-pasta dish that is to die for. Of course Head Chef Don Monagon laid it out -- kudos my good man. With that said, Faith brought it to life. HIGHLY recommended! read more

Joe our chef is a genius!! Cut your 1/2 chicken with a fork, love, love, love Brussel sprouts and taste the best pork tenderloin w zucchini of your life! It comes naturally to him and he is the most down to earth Guy you will ever meet. This place is a NOT miss kind of experience. Did I mention the wine? Malbec private labelled is a great choice. Being from Cali I'm pretty fussy about my food and wine. Order anything here, you will not be disappointed. read more

Wine on Third Restaurant and Bar - Delicious! - Wine Bars Near Me - Niagara Falls, New York

It was my first time at Wine on Third tonight with my husband we were sitting at the bar we had one of the best experiences we have had since COVID hit. We have been looking for somewhere like this to dine at and enjoy ourselves! I usually do not write reviews but I have to give Kuddos to the staff members there. There was a party in the back that was there for 2 or more hours seemed to be a very high maintenance party that a young man was waiting on. He was very polite and I could tell they were being very needy. Our bartender Amber was AMAZING (I think she is a supervisor also). People were not obeying the MASK LAWS and the entire team was very precessional and accommodating to everyone I will be coming back very soon! read more

dude I ain't gonna cap best food ever, pizza is 10/10 and I'm from Chicago. Then I got the snickerdoodle cheese cake and and fisrt I though it was gonna be okay, but it was also amazing, the servers and super nice anddd.... the waiter was cute (according to my sis) any ways ggs see yall in the next one read more

This place is awesome. Great wine (and a few uncommon but great tasting beers). The service was super good, server was very friendly. I enjoyed the casual nature to the approach with the service there. No pressure to buy and the server spent time actually talking to us like people instead of customers. Great tunes. They also have the BEST POTATO SALAD ON THE PLANET. I'd give my soul for the recipe. The wine selection includes a few common listings but mostly more rare and specific bottles. All in all a wonderful small and intimate wine bar with great selections and again, THE GREATEST POTATO SOUP ON THE PLANET. read more

We visited on 7/8/2018. Very comfortable place. Relax, unwind, good atmosphere. We shared a couple of small plates; beef on weck rolls and pepper cakes, both very nice and well prepared. Then we shared a pear & prosciutto flat bread. It was a bit charred on bottom, but the flavors still came through just fine. Eric was fantastic and there for our every need. If we get back to the Falls, we'll stop by again read more

IF I COULD LEAVE NO STARS I WOULD......what a joke this place is!!! i guess anything positive posted about this place was done by people who don't know or expect any better. yeah, there isn't a lot to choose from in the niagara falls area, but thankfully, since we walked out of this place i found SEVERAL MUCH BETTER PLACES TO EAT THAN HERE!!!! to start off, our reservation that we made 3 days earlier was unaccounted for, nobody to greet you at the front door, just a bar full of locals hanging out. we walked in a bit more, the bartender/waiter/himbo told us to sit any place we wanted. we were presented with 3 menus.....one for the bar, one for the restaurant wine on 3rd and one for their pizza joint next door. we ordered a martini, up and a bourbon press......asking for maker's mark. waiter had no clue of what bourbons they had, so i rattled off alist of 6 or so until he recognized one of the names. martini was served without any twist or olives, not even offered. my drink was served in a pint glass. for the next round i asked for the drink to be served in a shorter glass, he told be that the only time he's seen anybody drink bourbon it was in a big glass. at that time he told us some of the specials....GA NAW CHI was his word for gnocchi and asked me to repeat it with proper pronounciation....letting me know he didn't even know what it was. we were getting ready to order when 2 young women walked in and sat near us, that's when we became invisible........waiter forgot our waters, he kept reminding us he'd bring them, forgot to take our order, reminding us that he'd get to us. he's little brain was too overwhelmed with the 2 girls at the bar and the 2 sitting next to us. finally we just ask for the check....paid and got the heck out as fast as possible. i guess i should thank WINE ON 3RD because of such crappy service we ended up going to another restaurant, much more classy, much more professional, much more polished....and it didn't have the stink of cigarettes coming in from the back door where the kitchen staff kept going out back to smoke in between orders. my advise is to STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE from this unpolished, uneducated, sorry excuse for a restaurant.....terrible, terrible, terrible. read more

I'll keep it short and simple..... Overpriced and average. Even if you are heading out for a couple drinks, be prepared to bring the credit card..... read more

This place is an absolute gem nestled along the other divey 3rd street bars. The atmosphere is trendy yet comfortable and almost makes you feel like you're in a bigger city. The tapas menu and the interesting selections make it well worth the slightly higher costs. Perfect for groups of people to order a bunch of tapas plates and apps to share. If you haven't tried this place out you need to re-evaluate your life right now! 5 Stars all the way! read more

Came here on a Friday night. Walked in and was seated right away. Service was very friendly and fast. Everything we ordered was great except for the potatoes. Not that the potatoes were horrible, just too plain for my taste buds. Salads were great! Chicken pesto flatbread was really great! Martini's were also very good. I recommend the blueberry citrus flavor. read more

Changing menu with plenty of options. Trendy place to enjoy drinks and dinner. They also do parties. Highly recommend trying them out. Their Mac and cheese is fantastic! read more

According to Yelp there are not many places on the american side, while our breakfast decision had left us disgruntled we didn't take a chance on our dinner. Quick search on Yelp put Wine on third at the top 3 within 5 miles around us, we decided to go :). At the very first step in -you fall in love with the low relaxing music which fits perfect with glass of wine. We ate pizza and nachos both were delicious made of fresh ingredients only! You can really feel when it's not one of those frozen nasty pizzas. The main reason I liked this place is bc of the way they treat their customers, I forgot to tell the waiter to remove the sausage from our nachos and even though I mentioned it at the last min when he was with the plates on the way to us, he went back into the kitchen with a smile and said "no problem it will take only few minutes" Great service great environment great food, if one day I will visit Niagara Falls again I will definitely come back! read more

Wow! This was a lucky find! My wife and I were wandering trying to find a good place for drinks and appetizers. It is off the beaten path but well worth the walk (just a couple of extra blocks from the Casino) The staff was awesome and the food was fantastic! We shared the mussels and the chicken skewers. Both were wonderful but the broth that the mussels came in was out of this world! My wife asked for and received extra bread to dip in the broth / sauce.... Incredible! We will go back next time we are in Niagara Falls. read more

Nice bar friendly staff have bands on the weekend came here on a Friday night just for some drinks Will try the food next time

This is a fun place to eat at the bar. You will get a healthy pour and interesting conversations with Liam and Eamon. Food is very good.

My girlfriend and I took a spontaneous trip to Niagara Falls a while ago and was looking for a restaurant. We were surprised how dead the city was, and the lack of non-commercial restaurants. We walked a around for a while and found this place. We ordered several small dishes with a couple of glasses of wine and we loved it. The restaurant wasn't busy, but the waiter was nice to give us our space(something that a lot of waiters aren't too good at). I am mostly recommending this place because in a town that lives off tourism, I think it's important to support the smaller business who make good food. read more

Came for dinner had the chicken with apparatus. Chicken wing was raw, brought it to the attention of the waiter. He didn't want to admit it. Instead tried too say 'oh that's just how the wing portion cooks '. Well I've been cooking for a number of decades and I can say raw is raw. Then asked did we want dessert? Huh? Yeah, well up until the meal drinks were good. I wouldn't order the chicken. read more

We found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. A short 10 minute walk from the falls in a little bit of a rough area of town. It is super cute inside with bistro tables and a bar. We are vegan, so the options were pretty limited for us. We ended up ordering the mediterranean plate that had hummus, veggies and pita bread. There really wasn't a entree option for us, but the chef was nice enough to create a complete vegan ravioli dish that was delicious. We would definitely eat here again. read more

When we went, there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant... after reading all the good reviews I am not sure why.... I guess everyone goes to Canada to dine, eh? The bar on the other side of the place, though, was pretty full and had a lady singing some nice tunes... We went in a large group and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Based on their recommendations, I ordered the tomato lentil soup, the meatball trio, and tuna sashimi... quite a variety, but everything was terrific! I capped the night off by eating their homemade chocolate ganache pie w/ almond crust. It was unreal. If you are in the area, go try this place out. read more

This place was great. For being so close to Niagara Falls, it was surprisingly cozy and not at all touristy. We had awesome service from our waiter Andrew (who gave us a recommendation for ice cream and scenic views when we left). The food was delicious, though portions weren't that big. We loved the house red blend, and it looked like there were a lot of drink options. We were impressed. Really glad we went here read more

Thank goodness for small businesses with character (especially in Niagara). This is a lovely wine cafe where everything is done well. I walked in on a Tuesday night to find the place bustling. I could tell they were slammed - 30 people all came at once to a 2 server restaurant - and under the circumstances the staff was gracious and attentive. The food was excellent - wedge salad and meatball trio - and the wine selection was interesting. At the staff's recommendation I tried an Argentinian Bonarda and it was terrific. read more

Very good food, but it takes them almost 45 min to bring our food. My wife and I ordered a steak and a salmon.

Very good food, very good services, and good prices and generous servings of both beverages and food... Although we went on a night when only the Tapas menu was being served we left full and happy... read more

Not what we expected. Couldnt read all the reviews before hand but the ones we did read most stated this was an "upscale" restaurant. To get to the dining room we had to walk thru the bar area, which was pretty live! In hindsight we should have just sat in that area. We ordered the nachos, spicy Thai shrimp and the lollipop lamb chops. All items were just acceptable to our liking. I hate when restaurants use a cheese sauce on nachos but that's just my preference. Besides the dirty glass and the wine having sulfers that triggered an allergic reaction for my wife the service was good. Our server was attentive and accomdating for the few issues we had. He even gave us a dessert on the house for my wife's birthday. read more

My wife and I had a wonderful experience a couple of weeks ago. We were in Niagara Falls for a visit and stopped in late on a Saturday afternoon after a crazy morning. This place was just what the doctor ordered. Very relaxing, very cool decor, nice music and a very friendly and helpful waiter (his name was Jonah). Interesting and varied menu, Jonah was very knowledgeable about the food and was happy to make recomendations. My wife tried the shrimp with a romesco sauce that she said was amazing and I was thrilled that they had French onion soup, my personal favorite and it too was outstanding! Plenty of wine to choose from but my wife decided she felt like a beer. Even the ice cold beer in a frosted mug was memorable! We both look forward to a return visit when next in the area. read more

Worst restaurant ever. Asked for a Mojito and got a glass of mint water. Asked for a Malbec and got plonk. A slice of mozarella will cost you 4$ (2 in the plate), chicken pizza has no chicken and you should better keep 13$ to buy some McChicken instead of their chicken sandwich. Tap water was good (I trully doubt it) read more

Great little bar. Caroline our bartender was attentive, friendly, and made some great martinis. Will definitely be back our next time in town. read more

Very nice. Tables near back of bar were very drafty. Food was very unique and tasty.

Friendly service, a good wine selection, and great goat cheese! Bartender was friendly and knowledgable, the antipasto was huge, and the red wine delish. A great find off the tourist path. read more

Wine on Third Restaurant and Bar - Antipasto - Wine Bars Near Me - Niagara Falls, New York

The boy and I came here on our saturday night in Niagara..there were few choices of decent restaurant but when I see tapas I get excited! We were very very happy with everything from the atmosphere( very happening) to the great service and yummmy food and even the bill was much lower than we expected! if you have good taste but a boyfriend/girlfriend without a passport then this is ur best bet for a great night out in Niagara Falls. read more

I was in the area for a short vacation and happened to stop by Wine on Third! Our waitress was amazing, she let us go over the menu and after we decided the tapas we were having she let us taste two different wines she thought paired well and let us choose our favorite. She also recommended we get the soup of the day which was a pulled pork soup which I still dream about. It was a great place to have dinner and a perfect end to our trip! read more

Had the most amazing dinner experience at wine on third! The food was great the drinks were delish and the service by our server Andrew was PHENOMENAL!!! 15/10 would recommend! read more

The filet mignon was fantastic, the truffle mac and cheese was... mac and cheese. The portions were smaller than I would have liked, but not unusual for this type of place. read more

Perfect in every way. The service was superb, the decor sophisticated, the atmosphere relaxing. The tapas were fabulous! We loved the beef kabobs. The wine selection is broad--we were given tastings to decide on a bottle. Parked right in front without charge. We wouldn't change a thing. This was a highlight of our 4-day visit. My husband worked in the restaurant industry for years, and he had high praise for the owner's and server's attention to detail. read more

I arrived at this restaurant around 7:30-7:40pm on a Monday evening with my boyfriend. We were greeted by the host who said the only availability at the time was bar seating, so we sat at the bar. Scanned the menu, bought a beer, I ordered the shrimp risotto appetizer and vegan pasta, and my boyfriend ordered the pesto gnocchi. Our food came out about 30-40minutes later and my pasta was somewhat warm, like it had been sitting in the kitchen for quite a while. There was a party that sat at the bar quite a bit later than us, but received their food the same time ours came out. My boyfriend's order was cold, and it was NOT GNOCCHI. It was a different type of pasta. When I told the waiter my boyfriend ordered the gnocchi, the waiter said they ran out, so they decided to make this pasta that we did not order and the waiter did not even inform us they ran out of gnocchi beforehand, did not offer us an alternative option, and did not even apologize. On top of that, our shrimp risotto never came out. Being from out of town, we just wanted to have a nice sit down dinner to wind down after a day at Niagara Falls. I see myself as a pretty easygoing person, but felt I had to post my first Yelp review on this unfortunate experience. read more

This place was great! We followed fellow yelpers recommendations and they were spot on! First course we shared a chicken crostini with mascarpone and roasted red pepper preserves. Next we shared a cranberry salad with walnuts and that was amazing. Then for a main course I had the wild bore chop with summer veggies and polenta and my boyfriend has the spicy shrimp risotto which he loved! For dessert we had chocolate ganache! Everything was great we really enjoyed the night. We were unsure what to expect because the dinning room was empty most of our dinner but it was by far the best meal on our trip! read more

This place was touted as a high end restaurant. AlI I can say is, wow! Not quite! The atmosphere is good but the food is sub par and overpriced. The waiter brought our app ( cheese plate, I've had better) and 10 seconds later he brought entree. WTF? Give us a chance to eat the app dude! Like I said sub par and overpriced. read more

Great place for dinner in the area. Especially considering your other choices are Dennys or Fridays. The wine menu is great, obviously. The food was really good too. We went with the quesadilla and chicken sandwich. No complaints. The waiter was friendly and helpful when we asked some touristy questions about the area. read more
