If you find yourself in Long Beach with 30 minutes to kill before your dinner reservation--or if you just need to wine down after a long day--this little gem is your new best friend. This wine bar is super cute and cozy, like if Pinterest and a vineyard had a baby. It's the kind of place that makes you want to whisper about your exes over a glass of Malbec and pretend you know what "tannins" are. They've got a stellar wine selection that'll make you feel fancy without emptying your bank account. The staff is incredibly friendly, like the kind of people who don't judge you when you order wine solely based on how cool the label looks. (Just me?) Bonus points for the charcuterie boards--they're not just delicious, they're basically the perfect support act for whatever you're sipping. I came for the wine, stayed for the cheese, and left googling "how to build a salami rose." There's a small lot out front for parking, which is basically the Long Beach equivalent of winning the lottery. Whether you're pre-gaming dinner or just craving a classy night out without the pressure of wearing heels--come here. Your taste buds (and your inner wine snob) will thank you.

You need to go try their coffees. They just moved in this location (relocated from Liv's on 2nd street) around October 9th. I have been there twice already and I will going making another trip to try other coffees. Cool ambiance and great space to get some work done as well (they provide WiFi).

Purchased a Groupon for wine flights for 2. Very cute wine bar! Located in Naples with plenty of 2 hr street parking and free parking on site (small strip mall). Not busy at all, we were seated quickly and promptly served. Great selection of wines and ordered a delicious charcuterie board. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The only comment I'd have to make is it is very pricey.

I was searching for a wine bar that served old world wines as their tasting flight & got lucky to find this spot! Ambiance is small & was not so busy for a Saturday afternoon. Service was great! My husband & I got seated right away. The owner was friendly & put us together a white & a red flight from the old world. The wines served were from light to full bodied & they all tasted good! I must say the bottle price for the reds were pricey so we didn't make a purchase this time but maybe in the future for a special occasion. The wine list also includes new world wines but the list of wine in general wasn't huge but I was satisfied with the quality of the wines we had. The tasting fee was reasonably priced...$18 for the white & $22 for the red flight (2oz pour) I glanced over their food menu which sounded amazing but since we just ate, we only had the flights. I am definitely coming back to try their food & other wines on the list.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon and were the only 2 patrons for the hour. It's located in the right corner of the plaza next to Flavor of Punjabi. The place is spacious and clean with low and high tables, a great place to enjoy some wine with a small group of friends. We ordered a flight and were torn between the white or red, so our server was kind enough to offer a mix and match, so we did! A white Pinot and 2 reds, a Malbec and a French blend, for $18. The wines were alright; I'd get the white again but not the others because they tasted sour.. We also ordered food, a beef carpaccio salad and ny steak roll. I'm not a fan of raw meet so I can't review it, but my partner loved the beef carpaccio. I, on the other hand, enjoyed the ny steak roll that was over a bed of greens with red onion, cherry tomatoes, and basalmic vinegarette. It came with 3 thinly sliced steaks wrapped with Gruyère cheese and peppers. Overall, be prepared for quality over quantity. Each of those dishes were small and $18.

Feeling fancy? Wine on 2nd is the place to go. You won't find these wines in a regular grocery store. And you won't find food this high quality at the grocery store either. The breadsticks are to die for. We also had their charcuterie board. The wine was delightful and our hosts were very knowledgeable. I appreciate the attention to detail here. It is a fun and delightful experience.

Came here for a snack and a drink, and it was just what we were looking for. The owner was very attentive and kind, and we ordered wine flights and food. I got the Beef Carpaccio with Parmesan Cheese & Arugula, and it was delightful. The food was very well balanced, and I highly recommend ordering this dish. The interior design was also very modern, and I especially like the wine cork wall. I'm surprised this spot isn't more frequented, and hope this review helps drive more traffic to this local small business.

One of my girlfriends and I were waiting on pizzas from Michael's Pizza of Naples and decided to check and see if Wine on 2nd had opened yet. To our delight if was open! We were warmly and promptly greeted by the owners who were sitting outside enjoying glasses of wine. We were invited in and happily took seats at their bar versus the tables. Elena, the owner was informative and very patient with our questions on their wine offerings. Following her recommendations we order a glass of Malbec and a Cabernet. We were also served their complimentary bread sticks. The space is very open, while we were there during daylight hours, I would imagine the space feeling more intimate at night. They may need to add art, music or something to help with the acoustics as I can imagine it being loud with other guests. They do have outside tables, but it's a small area off the parking so perhaps some plants/flowers or wine barrel tables would add to the atmosphere? Overall it was an excellent experience and we are very excited to have Wine on 2nd join our community. We will definitely be back soon and look forward to trying additional wines and their food menu. read more

My friend and I went there because I had purchased a Groupon that was about to expire. The server seemed friendly, the tasting room was cute, the appetizer we ordered was tasty, and the first three wine tastings were pretty nice. We were having a great time until the server brought the bill before bringing out the 4th tasting. When I asked him for the last wine, he said that he had given us all four. He had not, but my friend laughed it off and said, "Oh, I'm sure people lose count all the time, right?" He looked at her and said, "No, they don't." Then he turned and walked away without another word. When my friend and I reviewed the menu, she, too, realized the server had skipped the third tasting. Because it was a Groupon, I didn't put up more of a stink. We left a tip based on what the bill would have been because I figured the server confused us with another couple who had come in with their Groupon right after us. I wouldn't have even left a bad Yelp review if he hadn't been so rude about the whole situation. Upon reflection, I wish I hadn't left a tip at all. Wine on 2nd is now on my "No go" list. Thankfully, there are plenty of great tasting rooms around Long Beach. If Wine on 2nd is going to make it, they'd better work on their table-side manner. read more

My mom loves wine so we stopped in on whim and we are so thrilled we did! I had the red wine flight, she had the white wine flight. Both were amazing! We also tried to Eggplant and Olive Tapenade with crostini and it was incredible! The service was amazing, they are very knowledgeable about their wine and have a lot of options! It's a newer place to the area but I highly suggest anyone that likes wine, wants to know more about wine, or just wants a cute date night to come check it out! read more

I'm so lucky to live so close to this European Wine Bar. I've tasted the amazing red wines- Zinfandel and the Syrah- delicious. The Fresh Burrata Salad, I ordered it twice. Yummy! And the breakfast/ lunch place next door is also a place not to miss. read more

Enjoyed an outing to this little neighborhood wine bar. Nestled in a little plaza with some of the best in town - Kihon (sushi), Falavor of Punjab (Indian) - this place is awesome for a little nibble and some very uniquely curated wines. Lovely European couple run it. Must visit. :) read more

Finally a place to enjoy amazing wine has come to 2nd street. If you're on a date or are simply trying to "wine" down after a long week this is the place. I walked in and was greeted with a warm smile and a lovely selection of food and wine. The boutique feeling is strong and the intimate service is welcomed. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Wine on 2nd and I will definitely be a regular a customer. Keep up the good work. I look forward to next week. read more

My husband and I have been here a few times, we've enjoyed several glasses of wine here. When we were here most recently, we had wine and the cheese plate. There just was not enough bread for the cheese plate so we asked for more. They were out of the baguette, so they brought us a croissant... and then charged us $9 for a croissant. I repeat, $9 for a croissant. We will not be back and love wine beach down the street. read more

I really hope things go well for this place. It's kinda hidden compared to other restaurants and bars in the general area and doesn't have much of a patio. However, they have a great wine selection and they male their desserts by hand. If you get a chance, stop by and show them some love. read more

Just happened upon this place in Naples on a Sunday afternoon. It was fantastic. Nice wine selection, and my hubby tried a delicious italian beer Dolomiti (i think) which he will be trying to find now to purchase for home. The service was great, found out she was the owner and the food was so fresh and good quality, so rare to find food made with passion. Really Yummy. Found out that was her husband in the back making the food. They said they have live music on the weekend evenings, a solo guitar player, sounds great. Just a small little local haven. I hope everyone in Long Beach will try it, heck, we came from West LA! The owners are a husband and wife team, go and show them some love. They have outside tables, we brought our dog. read more

So, picked up my first wine club order today. No owners there, no idea of what I had, had to call the owner. And seriously, $20 worth of wine for $80 is just wrong. And, it would have been nice to at least offer us a glass of wine while we waited. So bummed. I really liked you guys. read more

This place is amazing! My book club and I had a last minute venue change that evening and we called them up to see if they could accommodate 8 people in a half hour/45 minutes. They said "sure." When we got there we were greeted warmly and was seated at nice table that was already set for 8. The wine flights, food, and customer service was just awesome! Our evening was fantastic. Plan on coming back again soon. I highly recommend this place for any group meetings, to relax with friends, or just a glass of wine & food for yourself. read more

We had a party of 8 here Saturday afternoon to celebrate a birthday. We were so happy with our time there and Wine on 2nd will absolutely be in our rotation now! The owners are so kind and attentive, they went out of their way to make it a special occasion for us. They are also very knowledgeable in their recommendations. Among us, we tried their beef carpaccio and smoked salmon, two different wine flights and then their recommended glasses of wine. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming and we didn't want to leave. Highly recommend coming to Wine on 2nd for a special event or just an afternoon/night out! read more

I stopped by at this little wine bar while i was getting my hair done at Fantastic Sams. I ordered glass of champagne and got a beef salad. The beef was so tender and delicious. Champagne was good and not too expensive. I will definitely come back. Also the waiter was very friendly. read more

Nice place, and location. Great wine and service. Only reason for 3 stars is because the live music last night (Saturday) was so loud my friends and I were literally screaming to try have a conversation. The place is much too small for that type of sound. Also it was very bright, a dimmer light would have made for a better ambiance. read more

Free wine classes on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. They even have Brunch on the weekends... enjoy a flight before the beach when you're in Belmont Shore and SUPPORT LOCAL!!! read more
