I'm so happy I stumbled upon this wine bar, though they are much more than just a wine bar...the food was incredible! And they have live music on select nights as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the Wild mushroom flatbread pizza, which the owner explained had a crust made with high quality imported Italian flour blend mainly consisting of rice flour, which gave it a nice flaky crunch that I loved. She also suggested an excellent white wine pairing, and the bottle was 25% off for happy hour! Serviced was personal and attentive. I'm looking forward to returning with some girlfriends.

Overall a really cute and chill spot on Naples! I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for an impromptu tasting. The wine selection is a bit more limited than I would have expected, but not bad nonetheless. Wine is available by the glass, bottle, and flights, with the latter being more economical. I had a flight of whites, chosen for me- the Sancerre was uninteresting, but the Spanish blend and Italian 100% Chardonnay were both winners! There is a limited food menu on Sunday's but otherwise a good looking food menu for the rest of the week. The one star deduction was for service- I think he may have been new or perhaps a bit overwrought as the only person on service. I was never told about food options, and he kept his distance from the customers. But I'd still recommend you stop by, perhaps on another day besides Sunday.

Forgot to write my review but I came here 02-01-26. Caught a good deal on Groupon which lead me here. First time at a wine bar and I enjoyed the experience. It's a nice spot located in Belmont shore. It's very clean and spacious on the inside with couch seating along with tables and chairs. It isn't loud but they did have some music playing. It's a good spot to chill at with family and or friends for a few glasses of wine. It's also a cool spot for a nice intimate date. Had the pleasure of tasting 4 different wines; 2 whites and 2 reds. I enjoyed the wines. You can bring your own snacks and charcuterie board. The hostess was very knowledgeable of the wines, sharing backstories of where and how they were produced. It was a good learning experience also.

Groupon is always if hooking it up when it comes to wine. I found this hidden place there. It was so lovely there and the lady that was helped us was very educated on the wines. I definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a spot to relax and rewind.

What a fabulous find! My wife and I tried out 'Wine on 2nd' for the first time this past Saturday. Tucked inconspicuously in a corner, it opens up into a nice spacious wine bar space with leather couches, regular dining tables, and cool wine bottle art on the wall walls. My wife had bought an online special offer that had us try this cool wine bar out. The owner, Theodore, personally brought over each of the four flights of wines that were part of the special. He described the variety, and was super gracious in asking us how we liked each offering. The food was outstanding! Hands-down, one of the best beef carpaccio's that we have had in all of the Long Beach and surrounding areas. Instead of a paper-thin slice like many other locations, it was a more generous slice that still melted in your mouth with a few delicate bites. The goat cheese Brie was delightful. As well as the garlic, red-wine basted escargot. We also enjoyed the bruschetta which was yummy and had a very nice mashed tomato jelly on top of the cheese spread. If you're looking for a nice date night spot for Valentines, or to relax and enjoy a casual ambience for a connected conversation, I absolutely recommend going to Wine on 2nd. We have tried other wine bars from the Wilmore on Atlantic, to the boulangerie on Main Street in Seal Beach, as well as the wine bars in downtown Long Beach, and this one definitely places itself as one of the better wine bars you should absolutely try. Thank you Theodore!

If you find yourself in Long Beach with 30 minutes to kill before your dinner reservation--or if you just need to wine down after a long day--this little gem is your new best friend. This wine bar is super cute and cozy, like if Pinterest and a vineyard had a baby. It's the kind of place that makes you want to whisper about your exes over a glass of Malbec and pretend you know what "tannins" are. They've got a stellar wine selection that'll make you feel fancy without emptying your bank account. The staff is incredibly friendly, like the kind of people who don't judge you when you order wine solely based on how cool the label looks. (Just me?) Bonus points for the charcuterie boards--they're not just delicious, they're basically the perfect support act for whatever you're sipping. I came for the wine, stayed for the cheese, and left googling "how to build a salami rose." There's a small lot out front for parking, which is basically the Long Beach equivalent of winning the lottery. Whether you're pre-gaming dinner or just craving a classy night out without the pressure of wearing heels--come here. Your taste buds (and your inner wine snob) will thank you.

You need to go try their coffees. They just moved in this location (relocated from Liv's on 2nd street) around October 9th. I have been there twice already and I will going making another trip to try other coffees. Cool ambiance and great space to get some work done as well (they provide WiFi).

Cute spot to meet up for glass of wine and appetizers. We had the mushroom pizza and the charcuterie board. We liked both! Service was good and easy parking!

30.00 charcuterie board. Pricey but delicious and high quality meats and cheeses.

Purchased a Groupon for wine flights for 2. Very cute wine bar! Located in Naples with plenty of 2 hr street parking and free parking on site (small strip mall). Not busy at all, we were seated quickly and promptly served. Great selection of wines and ordered a delicious charcuterie board. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The only comment I'd have to make is it is very pricey.

I was searching for a wine bar that served old world wines as their tasting flight & got lucky to find this spot! Ambiance is small & was not so busy for a Saturday afternoon. Service was great! My husband & I got seated right away. The owner was friendly & put us together a white & a red flight from the old world. The wines served were from light to full bodied & they all tasted good! I must say the bottle price for the reds were pricey so we didn't make a purchase this time but maybe in the future for a special occasion. The wine list also includes new world wines but the list of wine in general wasn't huge but I was satisfied with the quality of the wines we had. The tasting fee was reasonably priced...$18 for the white & $22 for the red flight (2oz pour) I glanced over their food menu which sounded amazing but since we just ate, we only had the flights. I am definitely coming back to try their food & other wines on the list.

My daughter took me here on our first wine tasting event! Awesome date night before dinner or movie

We came here on a Saturday afternoon and were the only 2 patrons for the hour. It's located in the right corner of the plaza next to Flavor of Punjabi. The place is spacious and clean with low and high tables, a great place to enjoy some wine with a small group of friends. We ordered a flight and were torn between the white or red, so our server was kind enough to offer a mix and match, so we did! A white Pinot and 2 reds, a Malbec and a French blend, for $18. The wines were alright; I'd get the white again but not the others because they tasted sour.. We also ordered food, a beef carpaccio salad and ny steak roll. I'm not a fan of raw meet so I can't review it, but my partner loved the beef carpaccio. I, on the other hand, enjoyed the ny steak roll that was over a bed of greens with red onion, cherry tomatoes, and basalmic vinegarette. It came with 3 thinly sliced steaks wrapped with Gruyère cheese and peppers. Overall, be prepared for quality over quantity. Each of those dishes were small and $18.

I signed up for one of the fundamentals classes with my boyfriend and wasn't sure what to expect. Would be it be more serious, or fun? Is it for people that already know something about wine or geared toward total novices? I will say, I was pleasantly surprised that it seemed to be a good mix of everything. Karen, who led our class (although it turned out to be more of an intimate "event" than a class) gave us some wine basics, fun facts, and personal commentary about the wines we were drinking. There were light snacks and she suggested some unique pairings that were really good. The event size was small and we were all seated at a beautifully set table together (see pic). As someone that already knows a bit about wine, I learned some new tips, like how to find the sweet spot bottle of wine on the wine list at a restaurant, and got to compare different aspects of what we were tasting with the group. One of the most fun things was when this small group of strangers started chatting and having a great time together over good wine. (We learned we had a famous author in our midst!) This was not a super serious class for someone looking act like a shmancy sommelier, but rather something approachable with info you can use in real life, with plenty of time to socialize. Bottom line: If you are looking to do something different on date night or for an outing with friends, and enjoy learning about the wine you like drinking with good company, you should check it out! Pro tip: Take better notes on your wine than I did because they sell the bottles there too.

It reminds me of the heydays when Patina rocked with warm hospitality by Kevin & his kind staff, exquisite cuisine, paired wines by the incomparable  Silvestre Fernandes. I will post the menu and photos to document this very rare event where master cuisine meets the greatness of Bordeaux: Château Pétrus, Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Ausone, Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, Château Saint Yquem, Château Talbot, Château Cheval Blanc, Château Haut Lafite.  Thank you Ian & Chef Émé for une très grande haute soirée that will be long remembered and a high bench mark in which to compare other Menus Dégustation avec Association de Vins et Mets.  Bravo!!!   5+ stars

They have a lovely space and a nice selection of natural Old World wines, but the service has made it difficult to keep coming back. On multiple visits, we've been made to feel like we were an inconvenience--almost as though we shouldn't have walked in and asked to order a glass of wine. The vibe has consistently felt unwelcoming and, at times, almost dismissive. After experiencing it more than once, it's hard to chalk it up to someone simply having an off day. On the flip side, I did have dinner here once, and that was a genuinely lovely experience. I wish that same warmth carried over to the wine bar/shop experience, because I really wanted this to be a neighborhood spot I'd return to regularly. They also have a very bad fly problem on the back patio and it makes it uncomfortable and annoying to sit out there.

I tried the Pinot flight and ended up going home with a bottle, had the charcuterie board which was a perfect pairing and the live music set the right vibe. You can sit on the front patio ( where the live music happens, also good people watching), inside: small but cozy, or out on the back patio. The restaurant next door, Tin Roof, shares the back patio and there was an event happening out there the night we went, so the back patio was packed and loud, maybe check the Tin Roof calendar before planning your outing, but we wanted to listen to the music out front anyway, heat lamps on both. Speaking of Tin Roof, MB Wines seems to get a lot of Tin Roof folks waiting for their reservations or as a night cap after, so many comings and goings. Lots of foot traffic for Susie Cakes on the front patio as well, so you can take it as more good people watching opportunities or be prepared for some passer's by. Mall parking, then walk across the street, the Tin Roof event happening made it tougher than normal. Will be back on music nights, perfect mellow, enjoyable girl's night or date night spot.
