This is the first place we have visited that said they couldn't accommodate a group and didn't want business.

I have zero complaints with Windfall so I really don't agree with all these negative reviews. People are just too critical with new places opening. Of course, they have some kinks to work out but nothing that impacted our visit. We came with the family for lunch on a Saturday and got seated right away. Our server was super attentive and kept the food/beer coming as we requested. The kids LOVED the soft pretzel bites with cheese and I LOVED the cheese curds. I was pretty full after both apps so I threw in the towel, but I do look forward to coming back and trying the nachos or the soup with grilled cheese croutons. I had the winter IPA and tried the special bavarian beer. Both were great! My kiddos loved the arcade aspect as well. We headed over there to play a few games while we finished our beers and so the kids could have some fun. I think Windfall is great, and I plan to go back! read more

I had asked if it was possible for them to make me a Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap and they did NOT disappoint! it has a little spice but it's the perfect amount! The staff here was absolutely amazing! I had the drink called Rum Punch and it was a little strong but still absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was beautiful! The music yes it's bit older but it was so good with the environment. I love how they have a bar, food, and an arcade that has pinball! this is the best place i've been to in a long while!! read more

Second time here and both times have been great experiences! Service has been extremely friendly and among the best we've had. Tonight we sat out on the patio and our server was extremely attentive and friendly. We started with the elote fritters and had the ravioli, both were delicious! read more

Great service with a super friendly and professionsl staff. The food is better than you'd expect from a brew pub. Very well run place. The owner is hands on ( he may be the guy delivering the food and drinks to your table). And if you are a games arcade fan, you'll love this place. If you're not an arcade fan, no worries, there's plenty of seating away from the games. read more

Food was good. Service was very bad. I understand someone having a bad day but multiple people made my party feel like they didn't want us there. I've been a server for the past 4 years and I could not imagine treating a table like multiple people treated us. Brought the vibe down immensely. Host, server, and people who dropped off drinks were extremely standoffish and grumpy. read more

This is the Best Food, Service and Atmosphere around! We sit outside because our Bassett Hounds love to visit and have a pup burger. All the food is great but the Windfall Fish Fry is Awesome and large portions. You will not be sorry stopping in and enjoying the area. read more

I wouldn't say it's the type of place you go for the food or drink in particular. Both are fine, though they didn't have a seltzer option last time I went, which I tend to prefer over beer. The concept and ambiance however are very elevated and interesting compared to other restaurants in the area. It's definitely a place worth going to for trivia or to have a fun date playing pinball. read more

What a great concept for this area! Beers are great all year round and so many pinball machines to keep the littles busy while we finished our beers. read more

Was in town for a visit and went to this place. Very helpful wait staff quick service. Food was good as well. Had 3 pound of Smokey and juicy wings with the sweet and chili spice sauce, bbq sauce and then Alabama bbq sauce. The sweet and chili sauce was killer. Great citrus flavor with a sweetness and some spice. Fried cheese curds were tasty as well. Nice crisp on outside and soft and squeaky on the inside. The hit of the night was the green chili cheese fries. They were awesome. Just needed fries a little more crispy and they would be over the top. Washed it all down with a few jack & Coke talls. For sure will be back when in town. read more

By far some of of the worst food I've had in a long time. The Mac and Cheese with Texas Toast and pork belly is nothing more than Kraft Mac, a tiny strip of bacon and barely toasted white bread. The Breakfast Burger comes with a syrup that tastes like vinegar. Average entree is $13-$15. What an epic waste of money. All of the games are about $1 per play and mostly pin ball machines. After seeing we hated all of the food our server did nothing. This place is a total waste of time and money...and that's being generous. I spent $100 on disgusting food and horrific service. We all work hard to make a living...so save your money and go elsewhere. There is nothing nice to say about this place. read more

We loved the blackened Mahi tacos about 6 weeks ago and were looking forward to the nice piece of delicate white fish in a fresh taco. Our order today was terrible! It tasted like chicken, was brown & dry, and in no way resembled blackened Mahi. The manager told us they were now cutting the fish into tiny chucks and "marinating' to make it "blackened". It wasn't grilled, just steamed maybe. They ruined a perfectly easy & delicious dish. Such a shame. read more

There are places you can play arcade games. Our waiter seemed really nice but at the same time we seemed like she rushed us a bit (we were still working on our food + it wasn't a busy Sunday). We had a shrimp poboy, steak quesadilla, cheese curds (probably the only best thing we had. REC 10/10), breakfast burger, and the funnel cake (very dense). I also ordered a ginger beer and I do not rec unless you are super into SOUR drinks. I mean like SOURRR. I wouldn't come here again unless I was superrrr hungry and had no place else to go. read more

We've been going to Windfall for years and the first few visits were fine. It's why we kept coming back. Today, at 2pm on a Saturday, there were dozens of open tables on the patio and in the bar and they said we had a 20 minute wait for both patio and indoors. We couldn't even sit at the bar. Felt like they were low on servers maybe? The food was just ok, but based on our past visits, it wasn't great. The cheese curds were massive... more like fritters and most of them were empty of cheese. The wedge salad was drowned in dressing and the chicken fingers soggy. Just bummed because this used to be one of the places we could rely on. read more

Love this new brewery! I was so hungry I forgot to take pics of our burgers, but they were both delicious - I had the rocky mountain high and my partner had the 1up shroom & gruyere. The burgers were cooked to our liking, great toppings and high quality meat. Good fries and I enjoyed my fresh side salad (try the yummy orange vinaigrette). All the beers and seltzers we sampled were great. Favorites include the Bavarian bread, cranberry kettle sour and the mojito seltzer. Topped off our night with some pinball and Pac Man. I enjoyed the mix of old and new games in the arcade. Thanks to Charlotte for the friendly service in the bar area. Oh, and I loved that the music wasn't too loud, could hear our conversation but provided a nice background. Neat murals, too! Can't wait to come back and encourage others to check out this new locally owned business at the Orchard! read more

I love it when you can do something while you're waiting for, a table, your food, your date or etc... there's my favorite, PiNBALL Machines, maybe 12-18... other older generation video games, PAC-Man & more, different station around the place.. (so just in case conversation is going no-where, there's an alternative!!) You can dine in the restaurant or bar area.. GREAT! The drinks are super tasty!! (I'm not a beer-fan so not sure how all that is..!) And the food.. i ordered the chicken & waffles, expecting ... but what I got was different then expected.. (I should have read the description better!) But non the less, it was good.. ALWAYS read the Descriptions!! I would have LOVED to try any dessert other then, ice cream, but it seems they only make the dessert for the week, 1 day a ?, & just haven't been there on that day or within the time.. so that's a bummer!! I read those descriptions!! Staff is friendly & the place is clean.. I like the environment & the games .. it's a great Date place or Family place, that only kids that can behave should go & not think it's an amusement park.! Unruly children are the worst in public areas!! I will be back & there's always more to the.. plus is at The Orchard, so there's much to do before & after!! Thank you!! read more

So let's talk chicken tenders... holy moly. They are insane.. super juicy and lightly breaded... these are the number 1 thing on the menu. Great ranch and blue cheese!!! We had a few things one night when we came in but have only been doing Togo bc the service was a little off that night. But it could have just been a busy night, it happens. The Waygu burger is good as well just make sure you double specify your temperature. And the desserts were great as well and large. We split one between four people!! I really, really want to like Windfall Brewing. But we've been there three times now, and its been a disappointment each time. In this case, third time was not a charm, and in fact it was the most disappointing of our visits. I wish I could give two and a half stars. First, its a brewery. And every single time we've been there at least half of the beers on their beer list are not available. For pete's sake, if you're out of something, take it off the menu. And maybe have some flagship beers that fit a variety of tastes, that are available ALLL the time. The food is...well... hit or miss. The giant pancake brunch offering was good. But the steakhouse sandwich with the "tender, thinly sliced steak" was neither tender or thinly sliced. I will admit the fries are good, but that's the only redeeming and consistent thing with this place. I think every time we've been there Hannah D. has been our server and she is AWESOME. So friendly and helpful. I would say she's the other consistent, and top notch thing about Windfall. read more

Great place to hang out! We were there 3 nights in a row with different people meeting us. Good beer and wine and delicious food. They have great appetizers also; best pretzel bites I've eaten. The service was amazing! They accommodated our large party every night. Great place for kids also (big and little); they have an arcade in the restaurant. They also have a large outdoor patio which is covered and heated so there is lots of space for your party and a dog. Definitely check this place out. read more

We live near Orchard Town Center and this has become one of our new favorite places! We love the ambiance, the reasonable noise around the bar area and arcade for when our daughter cries and that we can push our stroller around most areas in the restaurant and on the patio. Our daughter's still an infant but we expect to be using the arcade when she's a little older and in need of some distraction while waiting on the food. The food! The cheese curds are one of the biggest reasons we come here so often. I've enjoyed the meals I've gotten here too, I've had the Mediterranean bowl and the pistachio pesto ravioli. read more

Don't know why this place doesn't have better reviews, it's a great sports bar with good bar food! Watched the Nuggets game the other night and it was poppin!! The ambiance was how any bar should be, loud and good vibes & the arcade was fillled with kiddos. We had the sweetest server who took great care of us and walked us through the menu. We had the jalapeño poppers, fish tacos and the mushroom flatbread. All of it was delicious!! And the food was responsibly priced. This place exceeded my expectations! read more

Absolutely love Windfall! The atmosphere is super unique & welcoming. The arcade area is a nice touch without being too much, perfect amount of games. The beer is usually pretty good, they shuffle thru many varieties that they make. My favorite thing to get here is a burger, it's always so fresh & the meat is sourced locally! The staff is always incredibly nice & does a great job no matter what time you stop in. I personally love all of the bar staff, they are all so kind & I always have great conversation with each of them. Perfect spot for families as parents can enjoy some beer & kids can enjoy pinball! Highly recommend read more

Service is 5 star because that's the highest rating you can give, if you could give a 10 star Abby and Dale would deserve it. Me and my dog came through tonight after one of the worst travel days of my life, and their positive and friendly attitude turned an awful day into a positive one. I'm happy I chose to grab a beer there (Dirty Blonde rules btw). I can't say enough about their friendly and knowledgeable service. Broke down the beer menu perfectly and got my food order out in no time. If you're in the area, make sure to stop by read more

The food here is so good! A restaurant worth going to. Friendly staff and great atmosphere too!

This place is very pricey. Try to go on days where there are deals. Otherwise you will spend a lot of money on the arcade games. Pinballs run from $1-$3.50. Go on Thursdays if you like pinball and play for .50. Some days are karaoke nights. So they try to do things to get people to come in. The food menu is simple. And very pricey. If I were people, don't eat here. It was ok. It was good, but I don't think I would ever come back for their food. But $15-19 for hamburgers is ridiculous. Service makes it taste bad I guess. Though our server was nice. I think she should have taken off a drink for forgetting about us multiple times. We got there at 640pm and left around 830. The wait was extreme. So plan to wait around. We did play their games. Again $1-$3.50 for games. The drink menu, I was a bit taken back how small their drink menu was. For being a brewery I thought the list would be longer. I had a cocktail and it was small, and tasted like water. I guess when she forgot about us, it may have melted. It was pretty gross. If I go back. I will go on a Thursday to play 50. pinball only. And not eat or drink here. It's not worth the high price tag. read more

Very friendly staff behind the bar. We ordered some onion rings and beer. It was happy hour so beer was $1 off. We ordered 2 sides of onion rings and they huge! I love a beer battered onion ring but that isn't how many places make them. In addition to being huge they were very thick cut which make it a lot of food (we should have ordered just one side). We played some pinball before we left and were very impressed with the number of machines and the variety of games. Many we hadn't played before. Definitely a place we might come back to. And it is in a cute shopping district so would love to come back and do some shopping as well. read more

ALL 1 STAR REVIEWS SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY AT ALL!!! Fantastic food, awesome atmosphere, and solid service! From my understanding the owners have lived and breathed the restaurant life for a long time, so they clearly know what they are doing! These guys are true pioneers of the holy trifecta that is the Restaurant-Brewery-Arcade. Perfect place to take the kiddies while mom and dad knock a couple of lagers back! (Might I recommend Farmer Dan's Maibock lager!) Also a great place to unwind at after a LONG day of mall-shopping with the wife! (If you are reading this, I love you honey! Shopping with you is, uhhh, so fun!...) The menu items are very unique and all worth a try! The beers have some rather odd names, but names really don't matter when they taste fantastic and get you buzzin like a Lightyear! (Terrible movie by the way, kids didn't like it either.) I drank 2 of the Wild Blonde ales because they remind me of my smokin' hot wife! (Plus it is made with wild yeast straight from Norway: woah!) Some of the best smoked & juicy chicken wings I've had in a long time. The beer battered cheese curds were so good, I had to order some to-go so I could eat them for breakfast the next morning! They have some dang ol' tasty burgers too, the Rocky Mountain High is a must-try with that green chili spread: mmm-mmm-MMM! And holy city of Toledo Ohio, that caramel cheesecake is TO DIE FOR! They also have some rare-edition pinball machines that you probably won't find anywhere else. Definitely took me back to my younger years of playing pinball, drinking RC cola, and oogling girlies at my local arcade. When we were trying to leave, I had to PRY my youngest son Matthew away from the Jurassic Park sit-in game. He was having such a blast, poor little fella even cried and threw a fit as we were leaving. My older son Jaxxon demanded that we come back within the next few weeks, or else he would run away from home and find his way here without us! Your demand is my command, Jaxxon! Yelp reviewers like DEVON T, ISABELLA C, ADRIAN B, and DARIN S are critical cry babies who won't hesitate to give a pathetic 1 star review if things don't go perfectly their way. "REEEEEEE the food is expensive!" HAHAHAHAHA oh wow, take a quick glance at the menu on their website and you will find that all of the food is beyond reasonably priced, unless of course you are pinching pennies or your family is on WELFARE! (Seriously, look at the menu for yourself my dear reader, and tell me these 1 star reviewers aren't totally smoking paint chips!) If you, in your right mind, think that the food here is expensive, then please find yourself the nearest Carl's Jr and leave those of us with TASTE AND CLASS alone at this fine establishment. "REEEEEEEEE theres oil in my salad!" yeah, most people call that "salad dressing", ever heard of a vinaigrette? "REEEEEEEEE the jalapeño poppers are too spicy!" ahahaha last time I checked they are made with jalapeños, you know, A SPICY PEPPER... so sorry that their employees can't taste every single one to see if it's too hot for your precious little tastebuds! "REEEEEEEE there are people drinking beer around my kids!" are you serious? Like actually? If that's what you are worried about, then please refrain from taking your kids to ANY BREWERY, PERIOD. I swear, Karens, DEVONS, ISABELLAS, ADRIANS, and DARINS alike will find literally anything to complain about. ANYTHING! To the person reading this review, I would COMPLETELY DISREGARD the petty 1 star reviews that you've unfortunately read and try Windfall out for yourself! You and your kids might actually like it, unless of course you have a splintering stick up your keister, like the whiny and prissy little 1 star-ers so clearly do. Once again DEVON, ISABELLA, ADRIAN, and DARIN: you window lickers should really go find yourself a Carl's Jr. and bugger right off! Heck I'll even point you in the right direction! The nearest Carl's Jr. is on the northeast corner of W 136th Ave and N Orchard Pkwy, now please take your degeneracy with you and don't let the door hit you on the way out! Bunch of bitter little maggots I tell ya. Frankie "Fats" Kozinskowitzki will definitely be bringing his family back here very soon! Fats K usually doesn't write reviews this long, but when people complain about petty things like DEVON, ISABELLA, ADRIAN and DARIN do, your man Big Fats is going to set the record straight! Even little Matthew had to ask if these people went to the same brewery that we did! If only there was a 2nd Windfall Brewery closer to my house in Arvada. (That's code for: put another Windfall Brewery closer to my house in Arvada!) For more reasons as to why you shouldn't bother reading the trash 1 star reviews, please read the Denver Westword article about 1 star reviewers leaving really stupid and downright incorrect reviews at local breweries. The weekend breakfast is the best! I never knew a bar could have such great food and cheap.

The setting was pretty interesting. It was cool how the brewery and their beef is connected with local farmers but the food was so bland The fried chicken on the fried chicken salad tasted like it just had bread crumbs on it and no seasoning One of their beers had a funny after taste as well Everyone in our party ended up not feeling well after eating there. read more

The atmosphere with food, alcohol, and games is great but that's where it stops. The food is subpar at best. We've been here twice now (though it deserved another chance) and both times disappointed. Today we ordered the breakfast burger with an over easy egg and a medium-rare patty. The burger was well done and the egg was hard boiled. Also got the steakhouse sandwich and it was chunks of steak that is impossible to eat in a sandwich and lacked any flavor. We are clear your plate-ers and we left a lot of food. Wasn't even good enough to justify the calories. Come for drinks and games, sure. Pass on the food. read more

I absolutely love and adore this place! The owner Sean (I think how he spells it) is such a nice guy, he and his staff always recognize my dog whenever we walk by or stop to eat. The music is always great, the patio is always warm enough/cool enough to stay comfortable. The food is fantastic and has great vegetarian options; I love the caprese sandwich or the mushroom flatbread usually. I especially love how dog friendly windfall is!! Sean built the patio just to have space for furry friends, and even has a featured pet menu (which my guy always loves). The staff truly makes each time I come in a good time, each team member is so friendly. I always appreciate how welcome and home I feel whenever I'm here or in the area. I'll start by saying the vibe is wonderful in there. The games are awesome for occupying time while waiting for a table or food. Our server was amazing. The food was....underwhelming. The black bean burger was crumbling before it even made it to the table. The pretzel bites were delicious but the cheese sauce was spicy, which was unexpected. Their sauces all have their own "unique spin" to them and no one in our party was a fan. The fries were pretty dang good!! We would give this place a try again but sadly, it won't be anytime soon. It was a pretty steep bill and none of us were pleased with our meals. read more

We sat at the bar the first time and the bartender was so friendly and let us sample a couple of beers since we had never tried any of them!!
