I had some issues with some plates and they immediately assessed the situation. They were professional, attentive and most importantly diligent in solving my problem quickly. I was in and out without feeling rushed and they really paid attention to what I needed! This is a breath of fresh air as most retail store attendants nowadays act like they are doing YOU a favor when you step into their showroom for assistance. I was a bit disappointed with this Williams Sonoma location in Pasadena. The store has a limited selection, and most items are only available to order online--which feels unnecessary since I could just shop from home. I was also not satisfied with their return and refund policy. When I tried to return an item and purchase glasses instead, I was told they couldn't process an exchange in-store and that a store credit card would be mailed to me instead. We ordered our bistro table from Williams Sonoma on May 2nd. After waiting 4 months, the day before delivery they emailed and said they ordered the wrong "thing" and the shipment will be delayed at least another month. 5 months! Maybe! So we call to cancel, wait nearly a half hour on hold and after having to explain ourselves "twice" they say they'll cancel. Days later the charge is still on our credit card. So now we're talking to our credit card company. The table was very expensive! This brand has gone downhill, way downhill! 5 months for a shipment? Begging them for a refund? Worst retail experience I've ever had. I purchased a gingerbread house kit for my grandkids. My husband noticed that the expiration date was a year ago so we took it back. Although the store sold an item that was clearly well beyond the expiration date, the manager said no returns and shooed me away, no apology. First off, it's a smaller location but for the size of it, they cram as much as they can in there. Needed kitchen knife sharpening and they have great prices! ($5 per a knife, they do not do serrated). It took only about a day or two for it to be completed. I picked it up and had no problems and it was packaged safely. I even stopped to drink some water cause I was so thirsty and thankfully they had water available for customers!! I went to Williams Sonoma looking for a Jura coffee machine in May, 2025. I am just wriing the review now. I wanted to purchase the Jura coffee machince, but I was not familiar with that coffee machine. I asked several store representatives upon my arrival to the store about the Jura and no one had any knowledge regarding the operation of the machine. They said there was a person but she was not here today. I asked another store representative at the counter and the same thing, but there might be one lady in the back that might know. The Jura is from Sweden and is supposed to make the best coffee. The lady came down and gave me a demonstration. I asked about the milk frother. She said it was attached to another machine and she could not detach it. They also could not let you sample coffee because they were not giving coffee demos that allowed for tasting that day. When I wanted the white one, they said I had to order it and it would be delivered to me and it would take 3-4 weeks maybe. I have been shopping at that store with my mother since I was a little girl and a long term resident of Pasadena, six generations. Wililams Sonoma had lots of locations in the past and 3 locations in the Commons. The party is over. Poor cusomter service which removes me immediately from the store. It is so transparent. I used to love Williams Sonoma, especially during the holidays. Very sad! Another one lost like ourBullock's, J.W. Robinson's and Haggarty's aka J.J. I have always had GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE at this store and they have a WIDE SELECTION OF THE BEST BRANDS in kitchen accessories: I had a very old gift card that they honored without any problems: I bought a set of table cloth napkins made by the high end French brand Jacquard Français that will lady forever in addition to being designed in beautiful modern style and colors!! Najla the store manager and Ricardo are both terrific and I disagree with the poor comments of unhappy customers. AVOID THIS LOCATION - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. WS Customer support requested that we bring a faulty coffee maker to the store so they could "check it in" and our replacement order could be shipped. The store representative said he didn't know what "check in" was but would place our return in the outgoing mail pile. We asked again that he look into a "check in" so our replacement could be issued without delay. He apparently did not bother to do anything. Our replacement never shipped and was ultimately canceled - requiring additional hours on the phone with support. Horrible return policy. I was given a Mackenzie Child's teapot without any boxing. It was simply placed in a bag with a few papers, which was kind of odd looking. A few days later I decided to return it because it didn't match my kitchen style. I almost didn't get my money back because the staff claimed that I needed the original box to return it. Then as I was explaining that I didn't receive any box, the staff were dismissive, they almost laughed and said how is that possible and rudely said I couldn't return it. Honestly I became furious but I calmly restated that I did not receive a box, and they finally decided to give me my a refund. Even then- I purchased the item in cash and I had to wait 2 weeks to get my check in the mail. I was worried if it would get lost and never get my refund after all that. Even the employee who helped package my purchase and was now helping my refund didn't even admit that he made a mistake. Anyways, I feel like the service should be better for such pricing. I also got the cold shoulder from a staff member who didn't like that I was looking at my items before I decide to purchase them. She then said, what are you doing, aren't you go into the line? I really like this location and am a fan of the store in general. This store has very nice kitchen/ household items. Most items are on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. They have pretty good sales during Christmas time. The customer service is OK. There have been times when we shopped and no one helped or offered to help, but good thing we didn't need any. There is hourly paid street parking (good luck finding one though). If your looking for Flatware, bowls, or any other home good that isn't from China, come here. read more
