What the heck!! I bought this cheese about 1.5 weeks ago, and have kept it refrigerated 24/7. We haven't even reached the sell by date of 5/16 and it's already 1/2 moldy! Such a waste!! What's up TJs???

    These are delicious!!

I came in today by request of one of my clients that needed a Trader Joe's run for some crackers and blueberries. I was in and out quickly and swiftly! Not too familiar with the layout of the store because this is not my usual Trader Joe's, I asked a gentleman where the crackers were located and he was kind and courteous in directing me to the right spot! Store was clean and well stocked! Parking was a little difficult but after a while I found a space!

I'm a regular at this particular Trader Joe's because they usually have stock on eggs. Glendale Trader Joe's are always sold out. Why is this a big deal? A couple of weeks ago, Ralphs and Vons were selling a dozen eggs for $7. Trader Joe's is the cheapest of all the markets when it comes to eggs. Trader Joe's is selling their eggs for $2.99 and I'm eating at home more because I'm saving up for a Las Vegas vacation.

    Pretty petit bouquets!

I always look forward going to Trader Joe's. This location has the best customer service so far. Around two employees asked me if I needed any help which was really nice. It was a busy day, but they try to be accommodating. I love the bouquet / flower selection they have too.

Classic Trader Joe's in a nice sized parking lot with a Starbucks and Petco. Came here during March 2020 quarantine time and they gave you a cart with a sanitized handle and an antiseptic spray before going in. Lots of stuff in stock, lots of stuff missing, but they are getting loads every day. Senior hour during quarantine is 9-10am. March 2020 hours 9am-7pm

    My cart.

My go-to used to be the La Canada Flintridge store, but when I saw this huge Ralphs, I knew I've found a better store. Mind you, La Canada has a high-end meats on sale, but overall, I'm impressed with the organization and size of the store. It's just a few miles further west, but worth the drive.

My one-star review is mainly directed at management, specifically a manager named Ana. My family…read moreand I have shopped at this store for years and have spent thousands of dollars here, as I'm sure many other local residents have. This is also the busiest store in the area, so professionalism really matters. Unfortunately, I've witnessed repeated behavior from this manager that is completely unacceptable. I've seen her yell at middle school-aged kids at the front of the store, right outside the Ralphs entrance, with no self-control and no professionalism. I've also seen her belittle employees--speaking to them as if they were toddlers rather than adults--and I once saw an employee sitting outside almost in tears due to how they were treated or accused. On another occasion, she was yelling at a mentally ill individual outside the entrance, which again was highly unprofessional. Employees also seem genuinely afraid to speak up or push back against her behavior. From what I've observed, she appears to abuse her position of authority and manipulate situations in her favor, creating a work environment where staff feel intimidated rather than supported. She regularly accuses people of shoplifting without clear proof, often based solely on her own assumptions. Her attitude is extremely condescending, and she seems to pick and choose which customers she feels deserve customer service. That is not how a manager should behave. What's most frustrating is that when concerns are brought to other managers, they appear dismissive and brush them off, as if management simply protects one another regardless of behavior. This creates the impression that there are no consequences. Some of the Employees at this Store are Great and consistently provide excellent customer service and professionalism. That is the standard all managers should be held to. Sadly, this particular manager is a liability to Ralphs, and it's disappointing that the company doesn't seem to recognize it.

The name "King" is a homage to honor their father, who was known to be the king of fruit. Super King Market is best known for their produce, excellent quality and very affordable prices. The market itself is very international in which you can find Middle Eastern items, Hispanic items and also Asian grocery items as well. I really love Super King and so does my husband. After my husband had discovered the location in Claremont (I actually had shopped there before he did, many years ago), he just has this desire to visit the other locations. We have already visited the one in Glendale, which is my least favorite of the 3 that we have gone to so far. This location is cleaner and does seem to be bigger (but I prefer the set up and layout of the location in Claremont. The parking is way better than the other 2 locations that we have visited). Anyways, we came by this store on a Saturday and it was definitely busy. But not so busy that it felt crowded (but can't say that will be the same for you if you come on a weekend). The first selection I love to visit is their produce section. There is such a vast variety of different, good quality, vegetables and fruits. And what makes this section even better is the fact that the produce is so cheaply priced. A market like this really encourages you to choose healthier choices of fruits and vegetables (and also whole grains. The dried grains, rice + beans section is also very cheap, as compared to the typical American market like Von's, Ralph's, etc). I also love all the different types of breads that you can find on the other side of the store. The prices for whole wheat pita bread is very cheap too (and also the regular pita bread for those who don't appreciate whole grain foods and don't get enough fiber in their diet). Be aware that a lot of their fresh breads have a short shelf life so make sure you finish your bread before they go bad and have mold :( Customer service at the register was just whatever, but I don't come to this market expecting it to be stellar, so that doesn't bother me. The prices are great here, the selection of food items (in many different departments, not just the produce) is excellent and would come back to this location more often if I lived in the area.

Well they have super long lines and no baggers. So the cashier has to bag and it can take so much…read moreextra time. Unless you the customer bags your own stuff. But the elderly can't do that so it's why the lines are so long. Now here is the kicker. At the end of the checking line is a manager ...sometimes 2. A man and a woman. They are observing the long lines...counting something...just observing. It would help if THEY just go to the end of a long line and start bagging! See, that would be cool! You see you guys have not scheduled any baggers and the lines are so long they are down the aisles .. and you are just standing there? Of course they may say, well that's not my job. But that's the mentality that keeps things moving slow. It would be so nice if people just did what it takes to keep things moving. Either hire enough people OR get in there and start bagging! I remember back in the days there was a bagger at the end of each checkout aisle. A bagger and a casher! Those days are gone ...and most stores now see if they can get away with overworking the checker! Next thing you know they install self check outs! Rather than hire people and keep a system of people working they just get rid of people and have 1 person observing (like these managers were doing). What a world we are moving towards. But anyways that's what you see. I wish they would just hire bag boys and go back to the good ol days.
