Will really works hard to achieve a client's vision. His prices are fair and the quality of the work is great! Hus turnaround times are fast. I highly recommend!!

The price is fair, I wouldn't underpay an artist, and that's what you're getting with Will and his team.

I would really suggest anyone looking to add beauty to their home or office at least stop by Art Post (or visit their website) because what they offer is a wonderful alternative to the outrageous prices and narrow vision of many of the other Chicago area art galleries. Chris and Michael are not at all pushy and genuinely want you to love what you purchase. Every room in my home feels bright and cheerful and makes me smile, largely because of what I've taken home from Art Post in the past two years.

I spent a lot of time examining the artwork on their website ahead of time and love how they let you search by style, size and other options that makes the art buying process a little easier. I had admired a few paintings on their site, but of course nothing beats seeing something in person. And the same paintings I liked on the site were even better in person. I liked one, Uplifting Light, so much that I asked Chris if she could photoshop it into the room I've been looking for. She said an even better option was to take it home for the weekend. She was also super helpful on what frames would work best and I loved that they could frame the painting right in their store - and she said they could hang it too! I filled out some information, gave her my credit card # and I loaded up my SUV. Turns out SUVs are good for something besides carpooling children around.. Once home I was so excited to see the painting in my family room since I was certain this was the "one." I'm so glad Chris let me try it out because while I loved the painting on it's own it just didn't work in the room- the size was wrong, the colors clashed with the colors in my room, etc. And so a few days later I sadly brought it back and handed it to Michael who was very understanding about the situation. I actually did find another painting at a different gallery over the weekend that I believe is the "one" after trying it out in the room, but I will definitely be back to Art Post Gallery when ready to find art for other rooms in my house.

Year after year Sandy has continued to give me the most helpful advice and care. So when I came into this…read moreplace on Saturday afternoon I found two female workers, one being the owner working with customers on their own projects. There's enough room to move around and look at the pieces of the art that was already framed. I waited for my turn to work with Sandy the owner who helped me with the five pieces I brought in to have framed. She was patient and had good suggestions on what to do with my custom art from Juli Adams that I had bought at the Renegade Craft fair many years ago. Plus another piece that I inherited from a friend that was on canvas. She opened up two anime art pieces in tubes that my husband gave me to have framed and mounted. Sandy put them up with magnets on the board so I could see what we're working with. The prices were very fair, and I'm really glad I didn't go to Michael's today and went to support this small female owner business. If I was in the market to have a sentimental picture framed, I will definitely bring it here. Excited to get my art back in 1 week. She even offered to drive over the larger piece as it might not fit in my car.

So, a week before, I came into the Moto Photo in Glenview to get a European passport photo. The Embassy had sent me instructions on getting the photo taken, which I brought with me. I showed the owner, John, the instructions and he said, "Those aren't right. It's cutting off the top of your head." But I was stubborn and insisted he take the photos per the instructions. He did, of course. When I came back to pick up my photos, John gave me a second set based on what he knew to be right. "There's no charge. But you might need them." A few days later I'm at the Luxembourg Embassy in Washington DC, filling out my passport application. I hand my passport photos to the woman behind the desk. "Oh dear," she said. "These are incorrect. The top of your head cannot be cut off." Fortunately, I had John's second set with me. I showed them to the woman. "Ah yes!" she exclaimed. "These are perfect!" I was clipped head top away from not getting my passport and wasting my trip to DC. A lot of other photo places might have said, "That knucklehead is wrong. But he insisted." And just give me the incorrect photos. But John saved me from my ignorance and gave me what he knew was right. This is one Luxembourg citizen and passport holder who is now a Moto Photo Glenview fan for life.

Now, right now, is the time to bravely walk into an art gallery and get acquainted with a few creative souls whose livelihoods are jeopardized by our present pandemic. Find a gallery whose artists enrich your soul, whose works belong in your home. Get to know their work. Buy a few pieces. My personal favorite is Zia Gallery in Winnetka. Zia's small space houses the work of 19 extraordinary artists. I have followed their works for several years, have purchased a few pieces, and cherish every opportunity to see new additions. Without fail, my visits there are enriched by talking to Anne Hughes, who not only can illuminate her own creative process, but is as intimately familiar with every other artist's work as with her own. Visit Zia's website to see examples. Then adopt one of their artists. You don't have to spend a fortune. The pieces I have bought at this gallery have ranged from $200 to $1200 and I cherish them. Others I've admired cost much more. Buy what you can afford, but don't let these vibrant galleries die. Just. Do. It.
