Just got back from picking up a photo that was printed and framed by them. All I can say is wow! The turnaround time is very quick, literally completed the order same day within a matter of hours and the service was impeccable. Sure they may be pricey, but for a family business, Frame Chicago definitely provides you your money's worth. The quality of the frame, picture, and positioning of the photo itself was done with great care. If there's anything that attests to their expertise, the inside of their new building looks like an art gallery with several framed compositions throughout. Holy smokes, this place is phenomenal. We came in expecting a run of the mill frame shop. Instead, we were met with fabulous events, art, and people running the joint. The Rajanis are warm and welcoming, and seem to perfectly pair folks that walk in with the right piece or frame. Not sure how they do it. We so look forward to our visits! Nice break in between the not so fun errands, and the value is incredible. Props to Alisha and Shafiq for their special touch. You both set an awesome vibe, and we look forward to returning for years to come. read more

Dopest frame shop in Chicago. They have a huge selection and always feature amazing artists/artwork.

Frame Chicago is so much more than a family-owned frame shop -- it also serves as an art gallery, a community center, and a liaison between collectors and the Chicago art community. The family's warm, welcoming spirit and commitment to serving the community are the icing on the cake. I initially visited Frame Chicago to have personal items framed and since then, I've been introduced to the works of various local artists whose work I've started to collect. Their extensive selection of beautiful, handmade frames coupled with Alisha's creative vision makes for a high quality finished product. This community staple is a gem. read more

Long long overdue, but after stopping by today I was reminded how much I love coming to see Alisha and her family to frame our home. The new location is a show stopper, and the art on the walls really are brought to life with the framing on display. Three things that stood out to me after shopping around at other framers across Chicago and NY: (1) Selection (2) Design (3) Local Beyond a great product, it leaves me with a great feeling knowing I'm supporting a local business and family. I framed these a while ago, what you can see in this pic is that they are 5 feet by 10 inches and they hang perfectly on my wall. The design on these was just beyond my expectations. read more

I noticed this business last week because of the storefront and decided to give it a try, prior to this I've never framed anything in person (only online at Framebridge). The experience once I walked in was very pleasant and the selection and design was beyond my expectations. I was given a few pricing options and decided to go with the least expensive, but have hopes to frame other items with all of the options they suggested. Overall, I'm happy w the finished product, impressed with the store, and really happy with the customer service. Frame Chicago, you're a gem for Lincoln Park. read more

I shopped around about a half dozen places in the neighborhood to frame a painting - Frame Chicago had the best selection. They are a family run business that has been there since the 80s and were extremely accommodating when we brought our three young kids in. One of the employees made it a point to entertain them while we were finalizing our frame selection. Also, what makes this place different from other shops is that they display and sell rotating local art - really cool business model. read more

Giving three stars for the cost. The work and turnaround time would be five stars. Unfortunately, it is extremely expensive, especially if you're getting a canvas stretched. They did a nice job and the turnaround was extremely fast which was great. In hindsight, I should have gotten another quote because it ended up costing me a fortune for a very basic frame. read more
