Will has a remarkable way of matching materials to my needlework. He always has a suggestion to start, then we discuss the pros & cons of that and reach an excellent conclusion. It's not uncommon that his first inspiration is the best fit. In addition to his excellent eye & listening skills, he's done a fabulous job on various needlework projects including (who KNEW?) cutting a heart-shaped mat for my most recent piece. If you're a needleworker, know you can trust Will with your stitching! There's a vast array of choices in his shop, and the resulting beautiful & durable framed art is well worth the investment.

Will really works hard to achieve a client's vision. His prices are fair and the quality of the work is great! Hus turnaround times are fast. I highly recommend!!

Great quality work, but either overpriced or upsold. Maybe go with their second suggestions?

They did a great job at a reasonable cost. The artwork looks exactly as I pictured it to be. Definitely recommend.

I spent a lot of time examining the artwork on their website ahead of time and love how they let you search by style, size and other options that makes the art buying process a little easier. I had admired a few paintings on their site, but of course nothing beats seeing something in person. And the same paintings I liked on the site were even better in person. I liked one, Uplifting Light, so much that I asked Chris if she could photoshop it into the room I've been looking for. She said an even better option was to take it home for the weekend. She was also super helpful on what frames would work best and I loved that they could frame the painting right in their store - and she said they could hang it too! I filled out some information, gave her my credit card # and I loaded up my SUV. Turns out SUVs are good for something besides carpooling children around.. Once home I was so excited to see the painting in my family room since I was certain this was the "one." I'm so glad Chris let me try it out because while I loved the painting on it's own it just didn't work in the room- the size was wrong, the colors clashed with the colors in my room, etc. And so a few days later I sadly brought it back and handed it to Michael who was very understanding about the situation. I actually did find another painting at a different gallery over the weekend that I believe is the "one" after trying it out in the room, but I will definitely be back to Art Post Gallery when ready to find art for other rooms in my house.

I would really suggest anyone looking to add beauty to their home or office at least stop by Art Post (or visit their website) because what they offer is a wonderful alternative to the outrageous prices and narrow vision of many of the other Chicago area art galleries. Chris and Michael are not at all pushy and genuinely want you to love what you purchase. Every room in my home feels bright and cheerful and makes me smile, largely because of what I've taken home from Art Post in the past two years.

I am an artist and need to have custom framing done in the most economical way in order to make a profit. I am willing to do all of the assembly of the frames myself in order to get the best value. The Northbrook location allows you to bring in used or "store bought frames" and they will assist you in providing whatever else you need like glass, mats, etc. and will charge you a shop fee of $4 per frame for you to assemble all of the components. This charge also includes the backing, hooks, wires, etc. They, of course, do any custom framing you may need as well. I worked with Paul and Margo and they were enormously helpful, accurate, accommodating and courteous. We framed about 10 pieces and the cost was nearly $1,000. It would been at least 3 times that at the location in Niles and would have have taken weeks for the work to be done. I will definitely come back to the location in Northbrook and highly recommend it.

I had two orders at this location and the first order was misplaced or lost by Andy for a week or so. Ok, accidents happen - I figured they'd find it. They did eventually. but Andy was SO RUDE on the phone. Second order was a triptych. 3 pieces in 3 frames. I showed Cheryl a picture of the finished 3 pieces as I wanted them framed. When I went to pick it up, they insisted I gave them one piece. I'm not sure how they managed to mess both orders up, but I had a heated call with Cheryl who just kept saying they never lose anything and that there was only one piece. A few days later, and no call, I decided to disassemble the frame and use it for something else. and - there they were.....They had stacked all 3 pieces as one in the frame. Don't bother with this place - I went 5 minutes down the road to Artist Frame Service. They were professional and didgreat work!

These guys are fast and very professional. they know exactly what photos to take and can visualize the final product while taking the pictures. i am amazed with these guys. i consider myself to be a bit of an artist and to have a rather well developed eye. i am critical. i own a barbershop and i talk to guys all the time. because i just got married, wedding talk often comes up. i usually hear stories about photographers that are bad or just not up to par. i feel good about referring anybody to these guys. they are very affordable as well. don't pay for somebody else's name and have their "amateur" photographers do all of the work. you'll end up paying too much and you may not get what you hoped for. did i mention that they are very kind. the day goes real fast, but the photos will remind you of all that happened on that day. it's nice to have some quality photos.

So, a week before, I came into the Moto Photo in Glenview to get a European passport photo. The Embassy had sent me instructions on getting the photo taken, which I brought with me. I showed the owner, John, the instructions and he said, "Those aren't right. It's cutting off the top of your head." But I was stubborn and insisted he take the photos per the instructions. He did, of course. When I came back to pick up my photos, John gave me a second set based on what he knew to be right. "There's no charge. But you might need them." A few days later I'm at the Luxembourg Embassy in Washington DC, filling out my passport application. I hand my passport photos to the woman behind the desk. "Oh dear," she said. "These are incorrect. The top of your head cannot be cut off." Fortunately, I had John's second set with me. I showed them to the woman. "Ah yes!" she exclaimed. "These are perfect!" I was clipped head top away from not getting my passport and wasting my trip to DC. A lot of other photo places might have said, "That knucklehead is wrong. But he insisted." And just give me the incorrect photos. But John saved me from my ignorance and gave me what he knew was right. This is one Luxembourg citizen and passport holder who is now a Moto Photo Glenview fan for life.

Without fail, my visits there are enriched by talking to Anne Hughes, who not only can illuminate her own creative process, but is as intimately familiar with every other artist's work as with her own. Visit Zia's website to see examples. Then adopt one of their artists. You don't have to spend a fortune. The pieces I have bought at this gallery have ranged from $200 to $1200 and I cherish them.
