Basic retail service 101: Greeting customers! I received no welcome when I walked into this "fine establishment". I was saying hello to EVERYONE, and I got nothing. I was looking for a specific brand of jewelry (saw it on their website, and all the associates seem to just blow me off. I asked...they just pointed to the stairs. When I finally got to the correct floor, the associate had her dog roaming around the selling floor! Yes, it had a lease on, but it was still raining around without and any care in the world. Very unprofessional. If it's a service dog, you need to have it under your control at all times. Period. I finally found the jewelry I was looking for and the associate said they didn't have any sizes available in the store. I thanked her and then she just disappeared. No chance for any other assistance. At a place like this, I wanted to at-least get a "hello"', "can I help you with something?", "I know that that's not available, but I think that this would look great". This store left me with a disgusted face,. Goodness! They need to be trained to treat every customer as a client! Because they could be a reoccurring client.

    Refreshed Berluti wallet.

I would call it WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE, because the entry is definitely accessible, and if anything isn't, the employees go out of their way to move things and make it accessible! Their attitudes in general are very friendly and helpful, as is that of the owner (it's a woman-owned store!). Therapy doesn't close until 7:30 pm, which gives you plenty of time to run in for a birthday card and gift after you leave work and are on your way to a friend's birthday party! It's interesting to see so many characters all over the city especially in the Summer time . There is one place which has lots of stuffed characters ( not from eating food) at a mall in SF. It's at the Japan Center Mall in Japantown of San Francisco and it's called Amiko. On a Japantown stroll I landed at Japan Center Mall West and entered Amiko. This cute and curated shop was was established in 2019 and mainly focuses on San Francisco-themed items and sells unique tote bags, pins, stationery, greeting cards, mini print vending machines, original artwork, home goods (e.g. scented candles), accessories, etc. This small shop carries items from 100+ brands and independent artists. This shop was quite an unexpected find and it really reminded me of some gift shops in Los Angeles that rent shelf space to independent artists and creators to showcase their work. Overall this is a great gift shop to stop by for anyone who's looking for a one-of-a-kind gift.
